“I came to this restaurant with my family and it was very tasty. We had the chicken lagman, lamb scallion, stir fry noodles, homemade lagman and the dumplings. Everything was cooked to perfection. The service is excellent, and the quality of food is amazing. Very underrated comfy spot that I recommend to all!“

“It’s 10pm and the customer traffic is still at peak. During my meal they had to tell two sets of new customers that there are no more tables. My chicken thali is delicious. It comes with a variety of items and flavors. They kept checking if I actually need anything more and offered to add rice. Very caring and attentive. One customer there was chilling for a long time after done and they just let him relax in peace while the restaurant traffic is busy. Such patience and respect for customers. The Nepali hospitality really impressed me. Of course the food is amazing. Will come again to try other menu items.“

“Someone once said, good cooking is 1000 small things done well. I can't say what makes malatang here so good, whether it's just fresh ingredients, a well-balanced broth base, or just the
unpretentious, everyman luxury of having hot food served in a clay pot, but this the best malatang spot out of the 4 others I know in Flushing (New World, Underground Mall, Union Street, and Roosevelt). Props to the guy working both cashier and service.“

“Open 24/7 and the food isn't bad for you. They have noodles and fried rice and cold appetizers. I love going there when everywhere else is closed or I am unsure if they're open. This place whether in flavor, price or time never fails me. I love ordering their spicy noodles. Their fried rice is alright but my favorite is the noodles still. My favorite app is the one with fish, its cold and savory and appetizing. Never crowded. Never wait in line before. Sometimes it's short staffed. They speak English enough for you to order and speak back to about your order. Never too hot or too cold in there. Sometimes it could be a little noisy in there but the booths help. I've only gone at night though. Can't say for how it is when the sun is still out. The staff are the sam every night I've gone.“

I come here when I crave rice and something spicy. They offer cold dishes as side dishes or you can have them as part of of your lunch meal. Got the tofu shreds and celery, bamboo shots in chili oil, and the beef tendon & tripe. They were all delicious. I know other places have cheaper prepared rice dishes like this around flushing but if im in NY food court, this is a nice meal as well which includes hot soup.

Ive recommend their hot oil chili hicken, chicken feet, and the fried fish too. I see lots of locals get their hot rice dishes. Might be worth a try too!“

“One of the most authentic places to feast at. Visited here from Toronto, Canada and felt like I was eating a home cooked meal. The quality of the food speaks for itself in the fact that you don’t feel uneasy after filling up your belly with whatever you order from the menu.The free lassi was one of my favourite parts and I thoroughly enjoyed the buttermilk goodness. I took back 8 boxes of their famous barfi and till now I order boxes and have them shipped here, it’s been 8 years since I first ate there. Visited once again recently and can say other restaurants don’t compare. We have hundreds of India restaurants in Toronto, Brampton and Mississauga and have yet to try something as good as this place. Thanks for the great service and homemade food. “Have always ordered delivery, and have not visited the establishment; hence I cannot rate the service or atmosphere.
Nonetheless, the food always tastes great.
The Cumin Lamb Fried Rice is a must try. The lamb has a good texture and flavor, and the fried rice is consistently cooked well with great flavor (Sauteed onions, egg, red chilli, broccoli)
The Cumin Fries are also not bad at all. Comes in a box, still had some crunch, with the added cumin flavor. I've had spiced fries before from other restaurants, but this was different, and did not have an overwhelming amount of cumin. We enjoyed this as well.

Packaging is great as well. Nice sturdy boxes. Great for takeout“
