“What a special patissserie and boulangerie ! Every variety of French pastry, sandwich and bread is the finest you can buy anywhere. Their coffe beverages are also excellent. The multigrain loaf disappears quickly with loads of butter. Yum !“

“Nice little local cafe that's been here for many years! And by years, I mean since the early 90s at the very least (I first started coming here as a little kid with my mom). I come by regularly to get my dalgona coffee fix with oat milk and the staff have been consistently nice. Even when there's an issue with language barriers, they try their best to accommodate everyone. They have sandwiches and wraps available in the morning by the bottled drink section. There's also an ice cream fridge not too far from the baked goods section, and a cake display. They always refresh their goods, the cake display in particular always has new stuff. It's never been super crowded here that I've seen, nor have I ever witnessed anyone hogging a table for hours with their laptop. I recommend paying in cash to get a tiny discount!“

“One of my favorite Chinese bakeries in the world (not just Flushing). Prices are great, food even greater. Of course taste is subjective. My favorite is a sweet corn danish for $1.90 as of this posting.
Opens at 7am most days. They're ready a few minutes before. If you don't speak their language either be very patient and be ready for some "rude" customer service (it's NOT rude) or use Google Translate. Don't be that non-local who blames non English speakers for being "unfriendly".

“the 5-star rating is for the huge sourdough bolle that is sold quartered at Balducci's in Scarsdale and Greenwich. Sadly, they started thin-slicing the loaves which ruins it for me. Then they started carrying another brand of sourdough that I threw out. I can't speak for any other products Tomcat makes because I wouldn't know where to buy them in Westchester County. Too bad the bakery doesn't put their own name on the label..I had to corner a couple of people at the store and keep asking until they finally told me. Like all good things that come to an end, great stuff seemingly gets discontinued there, at Whole Foods and at Trader Joe's with the constant refrain..."it's not selling so well!! I can't help but believe a competitor might be involved in greasing someone's hand, because it makes no sense. Conspiracy theory...MY BAD!“
