Food is 4/10. They don’t have much on the food menu so I recommend eating beforehand and enjoying their cocktails cause they’re bomb!

“Very very good food! Our first time here after having heard about it for forever. Good wings, but my partner's shepherd's pie (although made with beef) was the winner, perfectly spiced and delicious. My Jameson chicken was very good as well. Enormous portions and we each brought a large amount home. Best soda bread I've had outside Ireland.

Very friendly attentive service. It was a little hard to hear due to all the hard reflective surfaces and music playing and cheerful people talking, but this was a great place. We'll be back, and are especially interested in the Sunday roast.

“I never knew there was such a cool bar on Roosevelt Ave of all places! I live further east of here in Queens so now I do not have to go all the way to Astoria. The owner Lee is super cool and so are the other patrons. I ended up chatting with strangers and we all had a great time“

“The food is amazing! We had the mussels, Brussels sprouts, artichoke hearts, chicken, shepherd’s pie, fish sandwich, and burger. The drinks were wonderful and the ambiance was so much fun. Really had a laugh at the bathroom with all the googly eyes.“

“This place is fantastic. Service and drinks are great and the pinball selection is good. The only down side is that sometimes other people want to play Godzilla, and my parole office says I’m not allowed to fight these people.
Trivia is fun. I pick funny team names but no one laughs :(
The bartenders and customers are great people to hang out with all night and the owner, Chris, is a great guy.

“I visited this cafe yesterday with a group of about 20 friends, and we had a fantastic experience! We used the private basement space, which was perfect for our gathering. At just $30 per person, the food portions were generous, and everyone was really satisfied. The salad toast was particularly delicious – the vegetables were super fresh, and the flavor was spot on! Also, their minced meat rice was hands down the best we’ve had in New York. It wasn’t overly sweet, with a hint of acidity from vinegar that really suited our taste. The private space made it feel cozy and undisturbed, which is pretty rare to find around here. Highly recommend for gatherings and small events!“

“Very happy with the vibe and beer selection. The Hudson Valley beers are a bit pricey, but that might be the brewery setting the prices, as I have read. But this place is a gem for the neighborhood, and there aren't many gems nor places like it. Patrons are respectful of one another, and the noise level is comfortable enough to have a conversation and enjoy the beer with a pizza pie from Philomena across the avenue.“

“A couple months back, the ladies and I decided to check out Seoul Bystro for happy hour.

Cool spot with great service. We were seated immediately, and perused their menu. The HH menu is small but mighty with $1 wings in your choice of soy & garlic or hot & spicy. We decided to try them both. I was extremely please because they were cooked well with a good crunch.

At the time SB only had soju cocktail options because they were awaiting their liquor licenses. We tried the Seoul High Ball and the Soju Coladas. The coladas were fan fave along with the seafood japchae that we opted to share.

Overall a good HH experience, looking forward to returning.

“I have been a customer of Austin’s Ale House for many years, I know them well they know me well. This year I decided to give the excellent and highly favored family cooking team a break and had Austin’s Ale House cater our Christmas Dinner. I went with the ham dinner for 10 to feed 7 people🤣. The ordering was done with ease and so was the pick up. The family did a preliminary tasting...... LOVED .IT and whatever we have left after the “taste test” will have to serve as our Christmas Dinner. Since the taste test was so aggressive we may need to supplement what’s left with a few cheese omelets 🤣. We enjoyed it so much there was much talk about it becoming the new family tradition.
