“My plus one and I really enjoyed our time here. We had just gotten home from vacation and were in a mood for Ramen and this place did not disappoint.
Let me just say that this place has such a traditional Japanese vibe to it…the staff is warm and welcoming and the food was spectacular.
We had the ramen, both original and spicy and it was very delicious. We also had two Asahi beers and called it a day.
Overall, I will come back to this place more often.“

“I was there at Jian Nan Syosset, Long Island. Everything went great!! But, those took the orders needed to be more educated to understand each dishes. We were a fairly larger group than standard party size. Some dished were small and some dim sum served with small quantities, like 3 or 4. Those who order for the large group, should give suggestion to order multiple orders for the same dish. So, each one in the group can have at least one.“

“This restaurant specializes in Northeastern Chinese cuisine, a style that's not commonly found in Chinese restaurants across the U.S.
Compared to Sichuan, Cantonese, or Shanghai cuisine, Northeastern dishes are known for their bold flavors and generous portions, especially the stews and hot pots that are uniquely characteristic of the region.
This restaurant does an excellent job of showcasing the authentic flavors of Northeastern Chinese food, offering some dishes that are hard to find elsewhere. The portions are substantial, so you don't need to order too much to enjoy a hearty meal.“

“$14 pho lunch special, +$2 for spicy. Overall enjoyable! A fairly good bowl. Broth + lime + spicy was enjoyable. The spicy level is fairly low--doesn't really affect flavor but adds a light kick when you drink a spoon of broth. Management offered to make it more spicy if it wasn't enough which was appreciated. It does have a slight additive effect though so I opted not to. They're not giving you a ton of bean sprouts but the bean sprouts you are getting are washed and look to be of good quality. I feel like this applies to the bowl overall--fairly good quality but not overwhelming. I left satisfied but not full.“

“Friendly staff, excellent food. The Beef Chow Fun has the right chew and is delicious. Hubby got the stand Vietnamese noodle - always good. I went for the curry and it was fabulous. This is an absolute gem in the Little Neck neighborhood.“

“You get what you pay for in these neighborhoods, and while this deli might price a thing or two above the competition, the service, skills and food are a cut above the rest. I can save a dollar and get a disappointing sandwich that was made wrong or with cheap ingredients in Bayside, or I can have a sandwich that is so good it makes literally makes my day. It’s an easy choice at this point. Best guys behind the counter, with decades of experience, and good will. Save yourself the frustration with the other delis around little neck, Douglaston and Bayside, and call in your next lunch here. Cheers“

“The server is uplifting. It’s unusual to see a such pleasant server in a mixed gloomy run down neighborhood. The chilly oil is good. Food is fresh. The place is clean. I didn’t try their popular noodle or dishes. Seaweed turns me off. It’s fishy. Cucumber is sweet and not my like. More vinegar and garlic will be better for me. The cutting of slice beef, tripe and pig ear was really good. I believe the bean product appetizer will be good.. I didn’t try the noodles. Maybe the next time.“

“I usually don’t leave reviews, but I felt I had to after seeing someone unfairly trying to sneak around the tipping and leave a bad review.
Honestly, the waitress here was friendly, and the food far exceeded our expectations and professional. This place kills it when it comes to Cantonese-style cuisine — easily the best in the neighborhood. If you’re nearby, definitely give them a try. You won’t be disappointed!“

“This place has been around in Flushing for a while, and their rice noodles are still pretty good. That said, the broth could be richer—it used to have a deeper flavor, but now it feels a bit lighter and could probably be cooked a little longer. They recently launched some set meals, and for two people it came out to just over $50.“

“Service food quality has seriously deteriorated with the new owners Ordered there two times received items I didn't order, meaning somebody else didn't get their stuff and I was missing stuff from my order. I called and talk to them about it. they made me wait another 50 minutes to get my stuff they over looked and still missed items . called 3rd time and I was hung up on I called back 4 the time to complain and was told I shouldn't complain. Really ruined the evening for me and my four guests. eating cold Chinese food 2 hours after it was ordered. I would avoid this place until they get their act together new owners are not customer friendly and the food is now sub-par compared to the way it used to be“
“I ordered a takeaway from Chowbus today with the mentality of giving it a try. I only gave a star and forgot to write a review, so I ran to Google to search for this restaurant. I have never given a good review to a restaurant on Chowbus. This is the first one from my opinion. When I read the above sentence "Please order from the nearest place to ensure the quality of the food", I felt that this restaurant has requirements for the quality of the food. I am very happy that I was not disappointed after coming here. First of all, the packaging is very neat and the food used is that This kind of recycled lunch box competes with the rotten plastic of other stores, and is environmentally conscious. Because I live far away from Long Island, the general food is cold here, but his water egg is wrapped in a tin paper box and it is still warm. Take a bite of the scallops, it is sweet and delicious, and the water egg is the best water I have ever tasted. Egg! There are also two fried fish noodles and shrimp fried rice to eat at night. I took it apart and looked very beautiful. I believe it is delicious! Thanks!“

“The name on the front door meant that it was not Zhengzhou Braised Noodles. It didn’t match the sign. I almost turned around and left, but luckily I didn’t. As a Henanese, braised noodles are very authentic. What surprised me even more was that I had Daokou roast chicken for 16 yuan. The portion was huge and the taste was authentic.“
