We started with oyster and ikura, followed by king salmon and kampachi amuse bouches, tuna tataki, squid with crab + tobiko, hamachi with shishito, toro with caviar, sweet shrimp with lime zest, sea bream, and king salmon with seaweed. Other highlights included stripe jack, golden snapper, scallop with ikura and shiso, and a beautiful bite of wagyu, tamago, uni, monkfish liver.

My absolute favorites were the Hokkaido Uni, squid with crab, and that wagyu, tamago, uni, monkfish liver combination—it was mind-blowingly good! We ended meal with ube mochi and yuzu cheesecake. Every dish was thoughtfully crafted—highly recommend for an elevated omakase!“

The playlist is excellent with a great homemade sound system. Chef Mark is not only an incredible chef, but a great host too. “So delicious! Great attention to detail - I order takeout from here sometimes and they never forget anything.

However, I would order way more if the uber eats menu was fixed. It has an issue where certain menu items don’t show available options. The roll combo B for example lets you pick three sushi rolls, but there’s no option to actually pick the rolls. Just to pick salad or soup. The same problem for the soft drink (mentions coke, sprite, ginger ale, but you can’t pick which one)

“New favorite local sushi take-out spot. Very friendly welcome when I walked in, told them my daughter really wants salmon and they were happy to custom one of the plates to include only salmon.

The salmon itself was excellent. Fresh and smooth texture, dare I say best I’ve had outside of Japan (was there in July).

“We have been ordering here for years but the price keeps going up on their platters - we usually get the XL sushi sashimi roll platter. It’s $140 at time of this review. Some of the rolls have a Korean flair with Korean pickled radish in them. A lot of spicy mayo is drizzled over the smaller rolls so it’s hard to tell what type of fish/roll you’re eating so keep that in mind if you have guests. Easy to order because you can’t choose.“

“Ordered chicken teriyaki lunch special. It was made fresh as I could hear the meat sizzling in the back and the wait didn't take too long (around 10-15 minutes).

The restaurant environment wasn't too great but I figured this is the kinda spot you order takeout from and, in that case, it's adequate for takeout. The chicken looks moist and well-sauced. The roll looks well-made with no browning on the avocado. Miso soup is comforting to have with chicken teriyaki over rice.

I have no complaints. 8.5/10

“I have been going to this place for a long time. Still serving the best sushi and sashimi. I have tried other place, but it's not as good as this one. The extra large that I have gotten was $115 and can feed up to 3 to 4 people. Place is cash only and take out only. Also you can customize your order too. If you don't like something you can let them know and they will change it and replace something that you like.“

Staff is friendly and the food is good.When it comes to Sushi there is gas station sushi and then there is omakase-only-super-fresh-super-pricy-sushi. Junko isn't the latter and definitely not the first. It's solid, fresh, good tasting sushi with plenty of choice and variation. The price to quality ratio is really good. Sure you can get a similar experience for the same price and a better experience for quite a bit more: it doesn't take away from the consistently good food that they serve.“
