“Absolutely delicious. Perfectly salted and spicy level was also just nice. We had medium spicy 🌶️! Service was also great, very very friendly and efficient. Speaking in mandarin seemed preferred but they can still understand English ☺️“

“The food’s so good! I came back 2 days later, per my co-workers request for Xmas eve pot luck. I had the spicy stir fried tofu & braised pork belly. Both were so good! My friend hates tofu & doesn’t eat it.. she ate nearly half of my dish. Big portions (if you dine in), it’s served family style. The lady at the front had a little issue with understanding me but she was so sweet regardless. Be mindful of their spice if you have poor tolerance of spicy foods, they do let you know tho! I took off 1 star for atmosphere just because it’s plain (which is totally fine) & quite empty, mom & pop shop vibes for sure. You’ll catch locals just chilling, eating & enjoying each other’s company, so yeah you’ll probably get a few stares if you’re not Asian (like my friend & I) it didn’t bother us personally, nobody said or did anything to offend us, but just pointing it out there. Overall, I recommend. It’s a hidden gem & I will keep it in my rotation!“

“I was there at Jian Nan Syosset, Long Island. Everything went great!! But, those took the orders needed to be more educated to understand each dishes. We were a fairly larger group than standard party size. Some dished were small and some dim sum served with small quantities, like 3 or 4. Those who order for the large group, should give suggestion to order multiple orders for the same dish. So, each one in the group can have at least one.“

“Absolutely fantastic meal! The charcoal-grilled chicken wings were cooked to perfection—crispy, well-seasoned, and packed with a great smoky flavor on the outside, while remaining incredibly juicy on the inside. But the real star of the show was the spicy bullfrog. The meat was unbelievably tender and absorbed all the rich flavors of the broth. It had that perfect, authentic Sichuan 'mala' (spicy and numbing) kick, topped with fresh green chilies and sesame seeds that made it incredibly appetizing. Huge portions and great presentation. Highly recommend this place!“

I will continue to come back and I suggest you should definitely give it a try. Their menu should not disappoint. “Excellent dining experience! The fish was incredibly fresh, and the flavors were authentic. Portions are generous, and there are plenty of options, including great value set meals. The hand-pulled noodles were outstanding—fresh, chewy, and full of flavor. The service was excellent as well. The staff were attentive, friendly, and offered helpful recommendations. Definitely a place I’ll come back to!“

“Beautiful interior, really authentic Chinese spot. A good amount of private rooms with Lazy Susans, rooms also have a TV and karaoke machine. I celebrated my birthday here and had a great time! They included free noodles, rice dessert, and wine. The food was so delicious, definitely worth checking out! Very good value and cheap prices for the amount of food provided.“

“Had an amazing meal here! The hot-sizzling black fish was absolutely the highlight—super flavorful, tender, and packed with aroma. The golden soup beef was refreshing and rich at the same time, perfect with rice. We also tried the spicy chicken popcorn, crispy pork bites, and mala beef mix, all very satisfying and great for sharing.“

“Yummy sauerkraut fish in Tangram Mall! We like to get both their spicy fish (you can’t adjust the spice level but they have a non-spicy alternative as well), as they both have incredibly aromatic broths.
Highly recommended!“

“It’s a hole in the wall Chinese place with great prices and great food. The A + B special is borderline customer robbery and the women behind the counter is a always friendly if you are. I visit here 1-2 times per week and will continue doing so.“

“We moved from Port Washington to MA this May and have been unable to find a spot that offers everything that Aki does, not to mention at the same quality! They just execute everything so well. It was our go to for sushi, we loved the apps (the crispy rice and jalapeño yellowtail are fire), and loved also having options for classic Chinese food. We loved that it offered a little bit of everything. We only ever ordered takeout but the service was always top notch too. We love and miss you Aki!“

“Best Chinese foodRecommend Blk Pepper Chicken/Gen. Tso Chicken/Shrimp Pad Thai noodles/String beans in Garlic Sauce.7/11 I'm adding to this review. As I said before food is good but I'm noticing that pad Thai noodles is chintzy on the shrimp and chicken. I call them back to say so and now I'm told "what do you expect? How much chicken should go in with the noodles." I responded back " it shouldn't be a portion for a baby. I don't need to pay $10.25 for a box of noodles with dime size pieces of meat. I also let them know that I'm going to write a review on this. So goodbye Panko, your loss plus referrals. ?“

“Great customer service by the manager. I had a problem with my order, or so I thought. The order was actually correct just made a little different from my usual. She was very gracious to change it anyway. The Moo Shu was delicious and the Egg rolls the freshest I’ve had in a while. My new favorite 🥢🥠🍷“
“This is the BEST Chinese food in the area hands down. Everything is always fresh and tasty. Wonton soup, sweet & sour chicken, chicken w/mixed vegetables, chicken wings, egg rolls, scallion pancakes, fried rice… everything is delicious.“

“SKIP ALL OTHER RESTAURANTS IN FLUSHING/MAIN STREET. This restaurant is the best. Straight authentic style hunan food. You will not find cookie cutter American style chinese here (although they do have those dishes). I have been coming here for 10+ years. Favorites are hunan chicken and the sliced fish with ginger/scallions.“

“$12 cai pan fan - 2 veggies and 1 meat dish
I come here when I crave rice and something spicy. They offer cold dishes as side dishes or you can have them as part of of your lunch meal. Got the tofu shreds and celery, bamboo shots in chili oil, and the beef tendon & tripe. They were all delicious. I know other places have cheaper prepared rice dishes like this around flushing but if im in NY food court, this is a nice meal as well which includes hot soup.
Ive recommend their hot oil chili hicken, chicken feet, and the fried fish too. I see lots of locals get their hot rice dishes. Might be worth a try too!“

“As far as neighborhood Chinese food joints go......THIS IS A VERY, VERY GOOD, VERY CLEAN KITCHEN. Middle Village would.not support any business for years and years unless they were doing the right thing.HOT AND DELICIOUS!!! I always call and place order for pick up. I never put my food in anyones hands or moped after it's cooked and ready bro. They are VERY VERY VERY busy during lunch special hours....please don't call during this time with stupid questions. Please understand the restaurant business because you're not 10 years old to do that and post a review that the lady was rude to you.....Come on man!“

“Ordering the food over the phone is the worst thing anyone can do. The receptionist will mess the order up. You can be on the phone with her for 20 mins, and the order will still be messed up. To place an order is best to do it in the store. The guy at the counter will try to give you the wrong amount of money back, but besides that, the food is good.“

“Went here after Blackpink concert because my friends and I were starving and this is the only place that is not too crowded and still open at 11:30pm. The staff is very friendly, and the food is tasty. I was gonna order xiao long bao but it was taking too long and I was almost full, the lady kept on apologizing to me and she said I can get it next time. When I am back in flushing NYC I will go here and take my well deserved xiao long bao 🤣“
