“(Nov 2014) Uber cool high tech mod fitout and no shortage of opinionated beer nerds (complete with obligatory cult brewery t-shirts). Even at 2pm on a Sunday arvo. Doesn’t quite have the warm of a traditional US bar but still pretty friendly. Very international list with a focus on left of centre. Pricing on the high side but reflects the quality of the beers. Served via cabernet glasses - a nice touch. I really grew to like the place and they use a small space well. Can I say it reminds me of Two Row in Melbourne? And....btw....the only other bar I have ever seen where punters are punching out tasting notes!“

If you do sneak in 😂 you will find friendly people serving OUTSTANDING food (small, careful menu) in a house that Jazz built.

Jazz folks this is the real deal. Everyone else should just come and enjoy the magic of live music.

Pro tip: come early for a seat for the 1st set or arrive late to get a seat by the 2nd set (most likely).

Vegetarian options: Small menu so check beforehand. My 2 vegetarians were fine.

I hear the wings are on the spicier side so this is a fair warning. The restaurant is fairly small, so tables are close to each other and we overheard the conversation of other guests. It didn’t bother us too much but perhaps this is something to keep in mind if you come here for a business meeting.

“It is so hard to get truly excellent decaf coffee. But when the manager, Baka, is making it, it's perfect every time. Never too watery, or too bitter. I am always so happy on the days when he's there.

“This is a very cool beer joint with large and interesting selection of beers. The place not your average beer bar, but rather a Starbucks that serves beer instead of coffee. This cool place to socialize and even to work. I gave 3 stars just because they serve good sandwiches, but not omg, but again it is just an option to have with an excellent beer.
The place is next to the local celebrity- Radio bakery, so if not in the mood to stay in a long line, or they run of their goodies, this place is a great substitution“
