“I visited this taco spot and the food was amazing! I wasn't entirely sure what I ordered because of some unfamiliar terms on the menu, but except for the quesadilla, we tried 6 different items and every single one of them was delicious.
However, the seating is quite limited and not very comfortable. If you live close enough that your tacos won't get cold on the way, I’d highly recommend ordering takeout instead.“

“After hunting for good Mexican food for over a year, it’s safe to say this place checks all the boxes. The staff are always friendly, the food is divine, and the portions are reasonable. There is limited seating, but it is cozy and nice if the weather is good. I will say, if you order through an app, the portions are quite a bit smaller so it’s worth going in-person. Everything is good so you can’t miss, but I especially love the beans they use in the Al Pastor burrito and the salsa verde.“

“Fulton Burger Park Slope is a nice casual burger spot in the neighborhood. I tried the Truffle Burger and Cajun fries, and both were very tasty. The burger was juicy and flavorful, and the Cajun fries were crispy with good seasoning. Overall, it was a good experience and I would come back again.“

“Tacos Comal is following what every taco spot in Ny is trying to do; and that is to mimic the ever popular Tijuana style taco of course originating from its name sake and an ever popular option in California. And just like these taqueria in NY that try to mimic the look is there but the flavor cannot seem to get it right. These tacos are 3.5, although I cannot give it in my review it’s not deserving a 4 but mediocre is not by any measure and definitely does not deserve a 3. It falls in a 3.5 category. It’s not that the flavor is bad, it’s more that I don’t taste the authenticity. The salsas were weak and the biggest saving grace of this taco spot is its tortillas, which are definitely delicious.

If you’re looking for a good New York taco this is your spot! If you’re looking for an authentic Mexico or California taco they are to be found elsewhere.“

“I was craving tacos in the middle late at night and was struggling to find anything open that would have decent quality. This place pleasantly surprised me – their tacos were delicious and very well-made. I ordered shrimp, veggie and barbacoa with guacamole as an extra. The portion was huge, and each type of taco was great, not worse than in any nice taco restaurant. Definitely recommend it.“

“Friend and I ate here for the first time this weekend and it was so good! The owner was so sweet in making sure we had a place to sit and that we had everything we needed. And the food beats Chipotle or other quick service Mexican places by miles. Will definitely be eating here again.“

“Went to the brand new Houston location and things are a bit rocky with staffing and supplies but I want to brag on your employee CAMILLA ! We came from NC and after visiting Puerto Rico several times I was so excited for this experience! She was so patient with us! Answered all our questions with a very helpful and cheerful attitude even tho she was drowning in drink orders! With only one other helper, she never showed any frustration and provided excellent above and beyond customer service! The cashier with her was brand new and super sweet as well! Camilla even gave me a hug when we left! She made my whole morning! And gave us the absolute best breakfast recommendation as well! Thank u so much Camilla for your grace and kindness this morning. “Second time ordering take-out from here. They’re really friendly and have great service, but it’s not going to become my next favorite unfortunately. Food was okay, ordered cheese birria tacos which I thought would be cheese crusted rather than just some shredded cheese tossed inside.
The birria consome was great though! I think it was missing some salt but when combined with the tacos (as it should be) it was a perfect combination.

The place is small though, not a lot of seating space and the space that is available is a bit tight, so that ruins a bit of the atmosphere for me. But, for takeout nearby, I think it’s in the right neighborhood and deserves its round of applause.“

“This place is one of my go-to’s. The food, drinks, atmosphere and service are amazing! They also have a guanabana margarita which I haven’t found yet at other Mexican restaurants and it’s my favorite!! The best part is they maintain great quality each and every time which is not always easy. Ernesto was our server and he was not only quick and efficient but so friendly which can be rare to find in the restaurant business! He made our experience even better. Chilo's is a versatile kinda spot, if it's early in the afternoon they have some games out for a laid back and family amendable atmosphere to catch up with old friends, as well as themed nights later in the evening that can get pretty busy. “The tacos, guacamole, rice & beans, empanada and tostadas are all very good! Then they have the California Burrito (steak)… the tortilla tastes like it came from Wyoming. The fries tastes like they were served in a middle school in Iowa. The cheese tastes like it came from a church fundraiser in rural Mississippi and the steak was discovered from a small lake town in Ontario. Combine it all and it tastes like they flew it in from a food stand in the English beach town of Bognor Regis and a seagull made it.“

The food was incredible. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and authentic. The birria tacos were easily one of the best things on the menu, packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. The margaritas were also outstanding and paired perfectly with the meal. You can tell a lot of care goes into both the presentation and quality of the food.

What really stood out was the customer service. Cynthia and her team created such a warm and welcoming environment that made the experience even better. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the night.

“My favorite taco spot in all of New York. Their lengua tacos are absolutely insane. I love that they’re open past midnight. The hot sauce is HOT! Parking in this area can be annoying but I’m usually walking here so that hasn’t been a problem for me.“
