“This is my absolute favorite Chinese food spot in the area. I’ve tried various meals: shrimp lo mein, boneless bbq spareribs, chicken wings, egg rolls, pork fried rice, General tso chicken, sweet and sour chicken, all delicious and fresh! The people that work here are extremely friendly and kind. Portions are a great value for prices. Their homemade duck sauce is my favorite too!“

“If I could I would give this place 10 stars. Easily accessible, located on rt 50 so its on the way any direction you go. From the moment I stepped foot I the door I was greeted like family. The owners came out to greet and welcome me. Wonderul family vibe. The staff gave me suggestions for their most popular dishes and reminded me to get crab ragoons to keep my wife happy. 😋 I ended up ordering fried rice... its amazing 👏 thank you for not over salting it. We also got beef and broccoli and the sauce was AMAZING. Next I tried the chicken lo mein and when I say these noodles were the best- flavorful, crisp veggies, tender noodles, YES. Shout out to the crab ragoons for being hot, crisp and full of the good stuff. We will be back again and again. Oh did I mention it took less than 10 minutes to enter, and walk out with my order!? “They’re deserving of the positive feedback they get here. Small yes, however the flavorful food makes up for the size of the restaurant. My wife loves the crab ragoon and rices. I’ve eaten a couple of the noodle dishes and we always have roasted pork rolls. Everything tastes great and they’re nice people.“

They have authentic Chinese food on their menu along with American style. My husband ordered authentic and I had Hibachi.. no complaints.. flavors, presentation, portion sizes, service, all great! “Ordered food delivered for five people this evening. Selections were cold, sesame noodles, shrimp, eggroll, eggplant, garlic sauce, sesame, tofu, vegetable mushu, shrimp, chow mein, and vegetable fried rice. Everything arrived hot and I think they are now my favorite take out Chinese in the area. Normally eggplant and garlic sauce is dripping with oil. This was not. Ditto for the tofu. There are slight extra charges for things such as putting egg in the vegetable fried rice, but it is made the way we asked it to be made, and the delivery was quick and accurate. much better than using an online ordering app. I think the restaurant makes it better with direct ordering and we did too. This will be our go to rather than the two or three others in the immediate area.“

“Best pork dumplings (and dumpling sauce) ever. The vegetable dumplings are also very flavorful. The ramen is solid too. Highly recommend the peach jasmine iced tea. It’s an explosion of peach flavor with actual peaches in it and it’s sooooo good.“

I really like there food the sesame chicken Is spicy, I asked no spice. They provided!! Great taste. The shrimp fried rice is great!! They understood fully what I wanted fast and simple. Stright to the point. The crabrangoons are not greasey at all and are TO DIE FORE!!

Prices are not cheap and not too expensive either, its in the middle.

“Ignore the one-star reviews. They’re all making up fake problems.
Many complain about rude service. Its not rude, its just not fake-friendly like American service is because the staff are not American. Also, they’re way too busy to stand around asking how your day is. In my last visit, a cook personally came out into the front area to ask if I wanted pork or veg for the free egg roll that came with my order. I appreciated that.
Someone complained that the fryer oil hadn’t been changed in a month. How do you know? They do not have an open kitchen. Did you go in the back and check it yourself?
Someone complained the charge for sauce packets. They in fact have a tray full of different sauces on the counter that anyone can take.

Ignore the bored people who need to make up problems so they have something to complain about. This is the most consistently excellent Chinese takeout in Schenectady and I’ve been a loyal customer for years.“

“WOAH how to they have 3.9 stars?! I have been eating here since high school, over 15 years ago. We have tried every other chinese restaurant in Rotterdam and the surrounding areas and have yet to find better food. If you haven't tried them because of their reviews - ignore that!“

“We are regular customers, but tonight's dinner was extra delicious!! We are really impressed with the freshness and had to leave a positive review. We ordered:
-sweet and sour chicken: it was super crispy and a good portion of chicken inside
-garlic chicken: fresh vegetables, all white meat, broccoli cooked perfectly
-house mei fun: packed to the brim and flavorful
-sweet and sour spare ribs: these were restaurant quality!! we got a small order and there were 6 huge ribs inside, fresh and the sauce was incredible
-fried rice: tons of fresh vegetables inside and the rice was cooked perfectly!!
-eggrolls: best egg rolls ive had in a while... they were totally full inside (not just doughy) and crispy on the outside. I could taste the ginger inside too which was delicious.

“The lady working here is really very rude. She don’t respect a customer. She’s not so good. The food is very nice but service is really very bad. more than anything this area is really very nice. I like this area and it is located inside the plaza which is having so many shops like Dollar General and liquor store and so many on you can every time you can come here if you have plenty of parking space really very good, but I will tell the owner to change this lady. She’s really very rude and she don’t respect customers at all. Running J Smitty Automotive - Auto Body & Collision of Schenectady keeps me busy most days with collision repair and body work, so it’s nice having a place nearby where you can sit down, relax for a few minutes, and get a good meal before getting back to the shop. The buffet always has a solid selection, the food is fresh, and the staff has been friendly every time I’ve come in. Definitely a convenient lunch spot when you’re working in the Schenectady area.“
