“We visited the restaurant with our daughter and 4 friends for Easter Brunch. The location, food and service were terrific. Service was great (always had someone at the table before our water or lattes were done), the food was worth its cost (portions were large and we all had leftovers for later in the day). Will definitely be back next time visiting our daughter in Rochester.“
“Love everything about it. Except that it is kind of difficult to find the price of goods in the refrigerator section ? ?. No price tag on the goods or on side or below the goods. So it's difficult to shop, when you don't know how much your paying for??? I only found out that the English claim chowder soup was $10.49 after purchase and have to ask for the receipts ? ? ?. I got to say that all food is delicious but on higher end prices.“

“Food is really good and service is also greatThe fries have great seasoningThe only complaint I have is the chairs inside while light weight and easy to move are super uncomfortable and if you are 50-60 pounds overweight are a tad tight and the metal is not very comfortable at all and hurt to sit inI’m still giving a 5 star review because the food is what is important and I will eat here again“
“I was invited to attend a concert at Fanatics in Lima, NY, to see the Jazz group, The Howard Levy 4. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted very warmly by Norm and a few other regular customers. We arrived early to have a meal. We had chicken wings, two "garbage plates, and the beef and cheddar sandwich. We were all very pleased with our meals, which arrived timely and hot. The bar provides top shelf drinks as well. The live music is played in the back where there is ample seating. To see the bands, you buy tickets and have assigned seating. You can also order food and drinks in here as well. My husband the fried zucchini with ranch, which he enjoyed. I opted for the decadent and very sweet, snicker peanut butter pie with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream and drizzled with chocolate. Delish! Fanatics reminds me of a "cheers" bar where everyone seems to know your name. Fanatics is a gem in this village of Lima!“

“My friend and I went there for dessert and a beverage. The selection was outstanding. I ordered the Viennese Mirangue Torte, it was delicious. My friend has the raspberry cheesecake, she said it too was delicious. The service & attention from the waitress was excellent. We are planning on going again.“

“This place was absolutely incredible. Great atmosphere with wonderful service and the food had so much depth and soul when it came to flavor/quality. We had the octopus and bone marrow appetizers, sweet potato gnocchi and duck breast entrees plus grabbed the cheesecake and German chocolate cake for desserts. Had the Hemingway drink with the appetizers and it was fantastic as well. I highly recommend checking this place out ?“

“I met up with a friend for lunch. I had a burger. He had the Tuna Melt. The service was excellent, as always. Our bartender knows us as regulars, so knew pretty much what we'd have. The food was fine, although I'd love to see some new items on the menu. Or bring back the Blackened Chicken or Chicken Caesar wraps.I'm looking forward to my next visit!“

“Great old style hamburger joint. Full of color and positive energy. Food menu was full of choices to satisfy every tastebud. The original and walhburger are still my favorites. Before you go make sure to check out the great coupon offers (simple Google search) you will happy at what you find. The meat sauce has its own special taste, not too hot and not too sweet, just the perfect blend of flavor to add to your burger or dip your fries into.“

“This place is awesome, fast, affordable especially with a family of 5 and the food is delicious. The only thing I question is the kids meal comes with free ice cream if they're good. Both times we went we had to ask for it. The scoops of ice cream as a dessert are expensive so I don't know if they're trying to save on cost. It'd be nice to be asked if they want it. Regardless of that we'll be regular weekend customers ?❤️ I had biscuits and gravy with scrambled eggs. They were super tasty!Kid-friendliness: Kids menu options“

“Great service. Never have ordered chicken tenders from anywhere in my life and always forget leftovers in the car and gotta toss them... Decided to check out the "best tenders" and they were killer. Took 2 home, ate them for breakfast. I now realize they were the only tender tenders I've ever had.Parking: Huge lot. Found parking on NFL draft nightKid-friendliness: Big and easy to maneuver“

“Michael's Valley Grill is a warm, welcoming bar/restaurant with a nice ambience, which is important to people like me, who appreciate subtle lighting over brightly lit rooms. The current owner and staff are friendly and attentive, professional but not stuffy. There are some booths in the dining area that are somewhat private, and tables with white table cloths that feel elegant but not overly fancy. Or, one can choose to sit at a table in the bar area. Tonight we chose to dine at the cozy bar. There are black board specials but honestly, the regular menu is diverse and with plenty to choose from. Today I had panko breaded chicken Romano with mozzarella and tomato sauce over penne and it was wonderful. Everything is good there. You leave feeling comfortably pampered after having had a unique and special dining experience.“

“Hands down BEST diner we have ever been to! We frequent the area from out of town for doctor visits and it’s always so busy…telling us it’s popular! We finally decided to give them a try! So glad we did!! Well kept-stylish exterior, absolutely beautiful interior that is so clean you’d think it was just built! Cleanest bathrooms Ive ever seen in any public place! The staff is fast, friendly and attentive. Food is absolutely amazing!! This is our new favorite place in Rochester!! Can not say enough wonderful things!“

“Love this little diner. Food is awesome, service is fast and this place is always crowded. We tried to get here by nine and it was packed at that time. We did get a table and if you'd like, you can sit at the 'bar,' a long line of stools attached to a long table kind of like at a bar. They take cash or credit, phone orders for pick up. Cozy, nice atmosphere, kind of loud at times. I had the Mediterranean omelet, my kids had different variations of eggs, bacon or sandwiches and my husband had an Irish Eggs Benedict.“

“We walked into Dirty Dave's not knowing what to expect, we got our menus and the first thing g that struck me were the prices, so far good start. We ordered our drinks then our food, I ordered the New York strip, with fries and mac salad. My wife ordered the fish fry, my nephew got the Buffalo chicken wrap with onion rings.I'll start with the steak. The flavor was out of this world, savory delicious, the steak was so tender I didn't need a knife to cut it. I'd call it perfect, found no fault there, the Mac salad was some of the best I've ever had, the fries also perfect. Crispy outside, tender and fluffy inside. My nephew loved his onion rings and wrap, and my wife's fish fry was so big she had to take some with her. All in all, we had just about the perfect experience at Dirty Daves.I highly recommend it to anyone looking for great food, great prices and great service. The worst thing Dirty Dave's could do is fire their cook. We will be going back.“

“I didn't dine in, as I was working for a residential house. All but one ordered take out. Parking is good but nearly filled up on a Friday night, but I suppose one could park on the adjacent street. The service was great, prompt and courteous. Place looked visually pleasant and dining room lit well. The food was great!!! Absolutely the Black and Bleu burger was pink in the middle!!! The pizza with steak and Bleu cheese and had a balsamic glaze! Who else has that? Um, no one. If someone else does that let me know. Prices were very fair. But, I noticed a one dollar fee for take out. What? Never heard of that, it sent me scurrying for extra change!! Not cool. ?When people know from the menu the prices; they expect to know the final bill. Probably not coming for take out at this place, I might come for dinner. The parking into building is somewhat accessible, by that I mean there is not a button, you can easily get through the door easily as entry is all flat.I forgot to mention, with the selections you may make a menu item minus meat. Ask if an ingredient can be removed due to allergies, They might be able to do it.“

“Stopped by Stone’s to meet a friend after work. The bar is located in a small renovated house with outdoor seating on the back deck. Friendly welcoming staff and patrons considering it’s similar to a “Cheers” bar where everyone knows each other. Nice daily food and drink specials, cheerful atmosphere, plenty of off street parking, and good prices. I had a grilled chicken sandwich with fries for $12! They also have a $10 burger night, and steak night (not sure of the cost). It’s worth a visit go check them out.“

“I came in for dinner with some coworkers and truly loved my experience. We came in right at the end of Happy Hour and our server rushed to get our first wine orders in so we could make the special. I ordered the Ceasar salad with shrimp and it was quite possibly the best Ceasar I've ever had! It was incredible and filled with plump, perfectly cooked shrimp! I also ordered a side of fries because, girl dinner lol, and they were just what I wanted! Everyone else in my party enjoyed their meal equally. The restaurant was busy but we had quick, friendly service throughout our meal. It was a fun place to grab a meal and drinks after a long day of work!“

“Their plates and burgers are fantastic. And perhaps the best fries in the city. Be careful using the delivery services, sometimes it doesn't take. So give them a call, walk in because they're very friendly and helpful and you'll get a fantastic meal.“

“Sushi, pasta bolgnese, salmón and truffle Mac and cheese were our dinner entrees. All diners enjoyed their meals. The Mac and cheese was not hot, the pasta was overcooked and the sauce was too tight. We enjoyed our time. Might think twice before I ordered the Mac and cheese. All other parts of the evening were satisfactory.“
“We stopped at Puppy’s on our way through town because we thought they might be dog-friendly— we were right. It may not be an official policy, but the staff was very accommodating getting us set up outside with our pup. Great food, better people. So glad we visited!“

“My husband and I are soooo glad we stopped here. Tripadvisor reviews showed this place has great service; and they were not wrong. Great service, with personable staff - which makes a place all worth it! The food was really good as well. I do recommend the burgers (as mine was cooked perfectly to my liking). Overall, I'm thrilled with this little pub and would stop here again and again were I in the area. And really, chat up the hosts...such great ppl!“

“It's a good ole fashioned diner and I love that! The food is spectacular, the atmosphere is nostalgic and the service is unapologetically like being at an old friend's house (in friendly familiarity only ... they don't tell you to go get your own refills or anything LOL). The prices vs. quality of food are incredible. You'll pay much more at a chain and not leave as satisfied in gut or experience.“

“The food really is delicious! They have tons of sauces that they bring to the table to try with your meal. Lots of gluten free options as well! The bar area is really nice, but there's not much ambiance in the dining area. I did have the worst margarita of my life here. Tasted like bad college memories. Would come back for the food over and over again though.“

“Great food and service. Ambiance was spoiled by some large garish paintings which seemed out of place in this old restored building. There were no beef entrees! With low ceilings in what was once a house, the noise became a nuisance once most tables were seated.“
“Went the night of their grand opening! Atmosphere was great, people were friendly, it felt very homey. The staff is friendly and accommodating, Maria (behind the bar) is the best!!! My table ordered the poutine, meatball with ricotta, the ribeye steak, chicken riggies, and Alfredo and everything was delicious. Happy customer. Will be returning!“

“All you can eat, allergy accommodating dining hall that puts it's students first. The staff is really welcoming and always says hello. You can get everything including pasta, the wok station, salad, fruit, soup, burgers and fries, sandwiches, desserts, ice cream, fresh bagels and English muffins, and whatever the hot entree's of the day are. Lackmann is always trying to find new and exciting things for students and loves getting feedback. Overall, a fantastic dining hall on campus!“

“So, my niece was looking for a place known for their Prime Rib and was having a hard time. She remembered that years ago she had a good meal at Charley Brown's, so off we went. We found the place packed on a Saturday night. 3 of us chose the Prime Rib and I chose the Turkey Dinner, which was very good (except I didn't care for the stuffing). The others were mixed: 2 thought it was good and the 3rd thought it was mediocre. Therefore, the 4 stars.“

“I ate here for breakfast on the 8th and the 9th of April 2024. I was in the area staying at a family members home to watch the eclipse I’m from New Jersey and wanted to see the total darkness. The food was very good and the service was also relatively speedy. The staff is very nice and the prices are great. The atmosphere is cool and has lots of history to it. Would recommend!Parking: Plenty of spots can get pretty full but the two days I was there I had no problems.Kid-friendliness: They have high chairs and booster seats for kids.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp to the door although it might be hard to get through the double push doors on your own.“

“1st timer and totally loved the food. I had the gizzard, wings and collard greens. All excellent. Gizzards were tender and flavorful. The hot sauce on the side was perfect for both the gizzards and wings. It was slightly sweet and mustardy. Perfect touch of heat.Wings were JUMBO as advertised. Moist and great crust.Collard greens were simple, loved the flavor. The place has 5-6 tables and was very clean. Nothing fancy for atmosphere. Order at a window. More of a takeout joint. The staff was friendly, made me feel welcome.I will be back .“

“Food is great But sometimes it's cold. Mine experience the waitress, not everybody, he was rude, they just pass next to the table without paying no mind, That we're sitting there, so we just waiting for the service that we never get. We need to get up,And ask somebody for the Food, Cause the Waitress do not bring anything to the table,Plus I think they should cover the hair cause it's 2 times in a row that I find hair in my salad.“

“Friendly staff, good food, old fashioned diner feel with the little music boxes (some work, some don't) at each booth. Serves breakfast all day. Good variety of food. Fairly busy, but I haven't had to wait to be seated any time I've gone. Fair prices, good portions.Parking: Good number of parking spots that are on both sides and the front of the restaurant. Unsure on the back of the restaurant.“

“Once you locate the restaurant, you are in for a treat. This is located behind the hotel and totally unmarked. We didn’t realize that it is PART OF the hotel and there is no signage at the direct entrance to it. (We did note a sign at the street indicating that it was located within that particular complex). Excellent in all categories except for short period of time when the music playing was loud and not in keeping with the otherwise peaceful ambiance. Best sweet potato fries I have ever had. EVER!!“

“Excellent place to get frozen yogurt, whether stopping in or staying to sit and eat.The frozen yogurt menu is diverse and mostly ever-changing, but with returning familiar flavors. The building is quite clean, well-lit, usually very quiet, and not often very busy. The staff are not that friendly but are nice, mostly taking their job somewhat or quite seriously, depending on who is at the register or around the store when visiting.“

“Friendly, historical family style diner that has a laid-back and welcoming feel. They have beer and make alcoholic beverages as well as great food to pair. Beer could be served off the tap if you prefer. Friendly staff. One of the other patrons offered to buy us a drink, whichever was a nice gesture. Will be back as I would like to experience their fish fru days.“
