I had some time to kill so I started asking Charlotte about why my homemade sourdough bread wasn't successful. She called Raphael over who, while he didn't share his secret receipe, he helped me understand the reasons why my bread wasn't full of air and getting any "oven lift." They were both so gracious with their time and experience......I hope they will consider offering cooking classes at some point. Absolute class act people!“

“This is one of my favorite coffee shops in Westchester. The coffee is consistent, they know how to make a proper cortado. The baked goods are all done on premise. This place could be two separate business and stand successfully on their own. A coffee shop and a bakery. I have not tried their gelato but I imagine that is equally as delicious. There are closer coffee shop near my house but I prefer to drive here.
I usually order a double cortado, and almond croissant and my wife orders the flourless chocolate cake.
Today I had the pistachio croissant, wow it was delicious. Not over sweet. There is a buttery scone they make that is a must try. At this pace I will include the every item I have tried there.“

We got the almond danish and onion bread; danish was outstanding while the onion was average though we paid $24 for both so its pretty good value. Would come back again to try the jelly donut!“

“I’m so glad I found Flourish Baking Company! I needed cupcakes for my daughter’s daycare birthday celebration, and they had to be completely free of nuts, eggs, and other allergens.

The website was incredibly easy to use, and Diane even called to confirm a few details, which I really appreciated. They were also very accommodating with my preferred pickup date and time.

Most importantly, the cupcakes were absolutely delicious, something that’s not always guaranteed with allergy-friendly treats.

“Our wedding cake was absolutely beautiful and tasted delicious! It was exactly what we envisioned, and our guests enjoyed it as well.

The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because of a miscommunication regarding the pickup time. We were told by the owner that the cake would be ready for pickup at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, the day before our wedding. When we arrived, she apologized and explained that she had made a mistake with the pickup time and asked us to pick it up the morning of our wedding instead.

Thankfully, our incredible day-of coordinator and her assistant stepped in and handled everything by picking up the cake that morning and delivering it to our reception venue, which took a huge weight off our shoulders.

While we were disappointed by the mix-up, we truly appreciated the owner’s apology, and the quality of the cake itself was excellent.“

“Held 2 birthday parties at home with Smallcakes. Each party was a hit. Tina, Lexi & Regina arrived on time with everyhing-- even folding tables, chairs + balloons. The kids colored their own frosting, used a piping bag and decorated with tons of toppings.
When the 6 year olds needed a break, their team cleaned up and turned everything over for lunch, they even included a custom birthday cake. Such a fun party, the adults enjoyed spending time with their kids while Smallcakes did all the work. 10/10!“
