We started with special mixed seafood in 2 large clam shells.
Dining partner had softshell crab (2) over linguini and he said it was the best softshell crab prep he ever had.
I had Chilean Sea Bass in a lobster bisque sauce with sweet potato crust over spinach.
Finished the meal with tartufo. Rich dark chocolate shell.

“We held my daughter’s bridal shower there and can’t say enough good things about this place! Starting with Jose, who had everything under complete control to the most delicious food that the guests are still talking about! We had a mozzarella and tomato appetizer, penne vodka, chicken martini (which was unbelievably delicious) and salmon. Even the bread and biscotti were great! Red and white sangria was a nice touch to the meal. The wait staff went above and beyond to anticipate our needs. DEFINITELY 5 STARS!!“

“Relatively new location but Ive been going to Modern, old and new for almost 30 years....To say the food is INCREDIBLE still wouldn't cover it. It's by far, one of the very best Italian restaurants in the entire County, if not further. It NEVER fails to serve you the freshest, most delicious meals. I'm a huge fan of their Chicken and Veal Marsala and Francese...I decided to try their Shrimp Francese for a change of pace. Sure, Ive had many meals at many Italian restaurants in the "world famous Little Italy" sections of NY City...I have to honestly say, this was the absolute BEST dish Ive ever had the pleasure of enjoying. Coupled with the Linguine with REAL White Clam Sauce, which in itself was phenomenal, as well as a salad with Gorgonzola cheese that was spectacular. I had the pleasure of returning again just a few short weeks later, and politely told the waitress (who's service was fabulous) thay I didnt even need a menu....
Modern has been around for a LONG TIME. Originally, you felt like you were sitting in the basement of a friend's home, and the food was just beyond incredible. Now, in the newer location the only thing thats changed is the size. The food has gotten even better (tough to believe since it already was EXCELLENT). The great service, the way they make you feel like family, and the food continues to be incredible....Wherever you are, if you're planning on being near New Rochelle....Modern is DEFINITELY a place you cant pass by, so ENJOY !!!!!!

“My experience at Allegria Ristorante involved attentive, courteous and friendly waitstaff, a clean and well designed environment, and food that was superb. My friend and I both had the minestrone soup and the fennel salad with shrimp, expertly prepared and perfectly seasoned. Capping off our experience, our reservation was intentionally set for 6:30 PM - in August 2024, Saturday dnnertime entertainment is jazz standards in chord melody form expertly played by Raphael Silverman on a gorgeous Gibson Johnny Smith archtop guitar through a Henrikson Bud Six amp. “The food was very good. We had a reservation for six people. Our table was comfortable. The service was good but from the second we sat down, every single server who came to our table was trying to rushing us through. The server who was taking our order came by three times, within minutes even, though we told him we needed some time. We finally had to tell another server that we are not in a hurry and we would like to please not be rushed through our meal and out the door. After that, we were able to enjoy our time and our food and drinks.“

“There are times when you go out for a meal, and you just don’t see anything on the menu that seems compelling. You won’t have that problem with Dino’s Pizzeria. The menu is insanely huge with a variety of food sure to please everyone. In fact, if you wanted to print the online menu, it would chew up 42 pieces of paper. Dino’s has an extremely large variety of pizzas, as well as appetizers, homemade soups, salads, side orders, calzones, hot and cold wedges, homemade buns, wraps and heroes, gyros, pasta, baked pasta, veal, chicken, eggplant, sausages shrimp and salmon.
Our group of six ordered online and received the food in a very timely manner. No one had any complaints about the food – only accolades.
In particular, the meatball parmigiana wedge had an ample amount of sliced meatballs with cheese and sauce on a tasty roll. The meatballs were well seasoned and had a great mouth texture. The grilled chicken Caesar wrap and calzone were also excellent. The pizza was perfectly cooked and had high-quality cheese. The pizza dough was chewy so if you like your pizza crisp you may want to choose another item.
The standout menu item to me was the Bella Salad Wrap which had a symphony of ingredients which resulted in an extraordinary taste experience. Along with the grilled chicken, the Bella Wrap ingredients included baby spinach, red onions, eggplant, Kalamata olives, fresh mozzarella, shaved Parmesan and roasted red pepper, tossed in a balsamic glaze.
After your first order from Dino’s, you will probably want to repeat the experience.“
