“Driving around after setting up a display at a golf course we came across this little gem in Sag Harbour. I had three tacos; chicken, chorizo and beef. All were delicious. The portions were spot on. My colleague had a burrito and quesadilla. Both look amazing. Fresh tasting great quality ingredients. My pictures aren’t the best as we could wait to eat! Must try take away if you’re near.“

“Our favorite place to eat in Greenport! The breakfast and lunch are simply amazing. Food is incredible, great service and the cozy little diner sets a perfect atmosphere. The breakfast sausage biscuit is to die for along with the blueberry pancakes and hasbrowns. Dinners fried chick and roasted fish were both excellent but the chicken was perhaps the best chicken cutlet I’ve ever had. They have seasonal menus, drinks and desserts. “It is one of the best and most upscale wineries on Long Island. The wine selection is very large with some great roses, whites and reds. They also have a very delicious sake cider. The service was also great and the view was beautiful. We are red wine lovers and loved their Cabernet and Franc. Their signature rose is also delicious.“

“Best wines overall I’ve had on the North Fork. Service in the tasting room was exemplary. Kind of a rustic European vibe. Their Gewurtztraminer was excellent as was the Gruner Veltliner, a real surprise varietal for Long Island. It’s not really one woman either. The winemaker’s daughter has a distillery on the property. I tried her bourbon, which was a bit young, but destined to be a real treat with more ageing. Wonderful experience and highly recommended.“

“went with 2 other people, and one of the burgers was undercooked (she asked for no pink and there was a lot of pink). the cheese part of the mac and cheese was pasty, like it was a bechamel sauce with extra flour on instead of a mornay sauce, aka they did the flour butter and milk but added no actual cheese to it. the fries were tasty and the burgers were well seasoned. i wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here again.“

“Restaurant was packed as is usual at this time of the year.However the food,and service was not compromised. Fried artichokes were excellent,as was the arugula pizza,and egg plant pizza as well!
However for me as a gluten free Celiac customer, i needed gluten free pasta.Well they not only had it but it was the best I had ever had!!! It was the shrimp fra diavalo over ziti.Perfect heat to a firm pasta cooked perfectly in a separate pot as not to cross contaminate,now that's customer service !
If you want a terrific meal without stupid Hampton prices, come to this terrific local restaurant ,you won't be disappointed!“

“Hellenic in East Marion was incredible! This was my first Greek meal in 5 years since before my diagnosis. I haven't been able to eat safe from cross contamination gluten free Greek food and today I was sooo happy! Hellenic makes their own gluten free pita bread. It was so good that I bought some frozen gluten free pita to go. We went to the farms today so we just kept driving but it will be a great place to go before or after taking the ferry to Connecticut in the future as it’s on the way. I wish it was closer to central/western Suffolk. I can’t wait to go back.“

“Absolutely the real thing just like I remember fish shacks on Long Island years ago! This was my first time to Commander Cody’s and I had an amazing experience. The fish was fresh and perfectly cooked, and I had 2 very large pieces! The pistachio/ricotta cake was incredible. The prices are so reasonable too!The chef and the owner were both very sweet guys.

I was surprised to see the place was packed on a Tuesday in the off-season, which made it noisier than I would like, since I value quiet acoustics more than food because it makes conversation easier. To our pleasant surprise we had a wonderful meal with excellent wine pairings suggested by our server, we loved our lunch so much we decided on having dinner at their NYC location the next evening, needless to say it was magnificent! The dessert case had a plethora of delicious freshly baked treats. We sampled a bunch and one was better than the next! Definitely a must visit!“

“The food is always excellent. The staff is extremely patient despite the amount of abuse some customers seem to think is acceptable. As a regular guest at this establishment it’s appalling what people think is acceptable behavior in public and the staff always handles it with class.“

“We were in Greenport for Mother’s Day, and stumbled in here. The smell from outside was amazing. We ordered the half Brisket, Ribs and sausage with large fries, I was worried the food would be drenched in BBQ sauce, this was not the case. We were grateful the food was seasoned and sauced perfectly. The fries for us were crispy, some would say over done but perfect for us. We liked the atmosphere, service initially was a little slow but it was Mom’s Day. Oh two last things, if you order the sausage it is very hot, good but spicy hot so be prepared. Portions were decent, two of us ate from what we ordered and had a box to come home with.“
