“We came here for dinner in October before seeing a show at Stephen Talkhouse. We found this on the map and saw their menu that was posted outside and it looked good.
We sat at the bar. The bartender greeted us and provided menus quickly. We ordered drinks - both were very good. I had a mule that was unlike any I have ever had and it was excellent. We had the salmon and the pasta special for dinner. Both meals were delicious. The pesto sauce on the pasta was so good I wanted to add some of it to my salmon.
The bartender was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was casual and cozy yet upbeat. The decor is fun and unique. Good vibes all around. I think this is a place you can come hang out with friends and be casual or get all fancied up for an intimate date.
Prices were what we were expecting - a little higher than the usual places we go at home in rural PA. We parked on the street not far from the restaurant. There was plenty of parking spots.

“Fabulous!! Went to a charity event for Dancing thru the Decades.....the staff, the music, the atmosphere were great....and the food was fantastic!!! Kudos to the Chef!!! Best Chautea Briand mashed potatoes, broccoli rabe ever!! Definitely recommend!!!“

“Really enjoyed it here! Pretty inside and diverse menu. We ordered the spicy tuna and the beets/burrata apps, followed by the hanger steak and butter chicken entrees. And a kids mac & cheese. Everything was delicious and our 2.5 year old loved it all too! Friendly staff and quick service. Will definitely come back!“

I had my birthday dinner at Topping Rose House, and it was an amazing experience—just like every other time we’ve been there. The food and drinks were absolutely delicious, and the service was outstanding. Our waitress was so kind and patient, even with our little toddler being a bit wild! Gerry was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. They even brought out a dessert with a candle for me, which was such a sweet touch. Overall, a wonderful experience—I’d recommend this place 100%!“
“We had the repast here for my Mother and I cannot say enough positive things about this place. Jaci took care of all the details and planned a beautiful lunch. Jaci was so accommodating and kind, the food was fantastic and the staff were attentive and very kind. It was so nice to have some of the burden lifted during such a difficult time. “went with 2 other people, and one of the burgers was undercooked (she asked for no pink and there was a lot of pink). the cheese part of the mac and cheese was pasty, like it was a bechamel sauce with extra flour on instead of a mornay sauce, aka they did the flour butter and milk but added no actual cheese to it. the fries were tasty and the burgers were well seasoned. i wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here again.“
