“It is one of the best and most upscale wineries on Long Island. The wine selection is very large with some great roses, whites and reds. They also have a very delicious sake cider. The service was also great and the view was beautiful. We are red wine lovers and loved their Cabernet and Franc. Their signature rose is also delicious.“

“From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by what was quite possibly the most patient host I've ever seen. She was managing a huge crowd with a smile on her face, even while dealing with guests insisting they were owed a table when they weren't. She handled everything with professionalism and kindness.

Once we were seated, we were lucky enough to have Omar as our server, and he was easily the best server in the restaurant. He made sure our table was well taken care of, checked in at the right times, and everything came out promptly, exactly the kind of service we were hoping for. The next time I come back, I'll definitely be asking for Omar.

And the food? I can't lie.. it was absolute FIRE. I'd give the meal an 8/10 overall. Every dish at our table was solid, and I don't think there was a single bad plate.

“went with 2 other people, and one of the burgers was undercooked (she asked for no pink and there was a lot of pink). the cheese part of the mac and cheese was pasty, like it was a bechamel sauce with extra flour on instead of a mornay sauce, aka they did the flour butter and milk but added no actual cheese to it. the fries were tasty and the burgers were well seasoned. i wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here again.“

It also is a cool place to hang out with a casual vibe with no pretense.. as a local realtor when people ask me, what’s a great restaurant in the north sea area Pellegrino is always the first to come to mind. “We love going to Capelettis — it’s a charming local restaurant that always makes you feel welcome. The owner and chef, Luigi, always greets you with a smile when you walk through the door, which makes the experience feel very personal and special.
He is an amazing chef — the pasta fagioli soup is the best, and everything is always delicious. The staff couldn’t be nicer, and the whole place has a very homey, local feel.

“Capt. Phil and his team delivered an awesome beach party last night in Southampton. From appetizers to dessert everything was superb. Freshest clams ever, with Phill shucking non-stop for our guests. The lobster was good and the steak was excellent. Tables were beautifully set with lanterns and torches down the beach plus a giant bonfire! Best for me: they did EVERYTHING PERFECTLY, so we really got to socialize with our friends. Our guests were raving, (even our most jaded Hamptons friends). This was an event to remember and I will always be thankful to Capt. Phil and his extraordinary team!“

The food and drinks were absolutely delicious, and the service was outstanding. Our waitress was so kind and patient, even with our little toddler being a bit wild! Gerry was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. They even brought out a dessert with a candle for me, which was such a sweet touch. “I went in to order skewers, french fries, and sesame chicken on the fourth of July. The workers were so caring and made sure that all of the items that I got was correct and fresh. The french fries were so crispy and on the inside perfectly soft. Skewers were packed with protein and the sesame chicken had a great sauce. I would come back, right next to the fireworks as well!“

“It was a wonderful evening in many ways! We arrived about 15 minutes early. We were escorted to our table. Turned out that we requested another one and we were then seated at another table. Server immediately came to our table. We ordered cocktails- Sag Harbor Sangria which was amazing. Fabulous appetizers- which were shared among the three of us- Brussel sprouts, shishito peppers and Salad. The main course was delish Halibut! Our server was very attentive throughout our meal. “We had a wonderful time visiting Duck Yard Vineyard. The tasting included four wines, and the staff pouring them were kind and personable, making the experience enjoyable.

There was also live music, which added a nice touch, though the placement made it difficult to really hear the performance.

One note is that when we first called, the person who answered came across a bit rude, but once we arrived, the experience was lovely. Overall, it’s a beautiful vineyard and we still had an amazing time.“
