Danny's sauce recipe is printed on a flour sack in a frame on the wall (very close to Mom's) so those of us who cook can savor the taste at home. Everything our party of 4 ordered exceeded expectations and was served up by friendly, knowledgeable staff. The Veal Danny and eggplant in particular....so, so good. Chocolate cake with pistachio cream and a fine cup of coffee to end the meal....now that's perfection!”

“We were there on June 4th Unbeknownst to us it was the start of Belmont week in Saratoga. The city was mobbed with people great to see. But not great on walk in dining. We were told it would be an hour wait because of all the reservations they had. This was not part of our plan of course. We then spotted an outdoor table in the shade. We grabbed it and the rest is history. We were greeted by Eli our server who by the way is incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to craft beer. He managed to recommend beers for all three of us that were delicious. Outstanding job Eli. We shared a spicy little pizza and a charcuterie board and both were awesome. What a great experience from start to finish. great beer and food spells a good time and we will be back for more in the future”

“Made a last minute reservation sight unseen. Walked in and were seated right away. Server was friendly, pleasant and helpful with recommendations. Food came out fast. I had the salmon burger and my partner had the fish sandwich. Both delish. Atmosphere is perfect, nice, but not stuffy. Reasonable prices. What a lucky find!”

Even if they don't show it to customers, it's critical that at least the staff have access to this information to be able to alert customers whether or not their allergen is in a particular food item.”

“Was finally able to get a reservation and the reputation is well deserved! The wait staff is fantastic and the owners are very friendly. A big key to great Italian restaurants is how well they do with the basics. The red sauce here is fantastic. Hard to find the right words to describe how wonderful it tastes. They are using the freshest, highest quality ingredients and it shows in their excellent meatballs. The sauces in the lobster pasta and veal pasta blew us away. We enjoyed it so much we came back the next night after a table opened up last minute. If I didn't live three hours away I would be here regularly. Cannot recommend this place enough.”

“I’ve searched all over the Saratoga area for an Asian Resturant who’s take out is worth the money. This place has the best Asian food in the area 100%. Beyond this, they provide excellent service. Employees are always smiling when I come in, and the atmosphere is awesome!
I refuse to even try another place. They have earned my business indefinitely!”

“Food is great and service is great. The only issue I have is your gift card policy between Albany and Saratoga. I’ve had family be told you can use a gift card at either location and I have been told it must be used where it was purchased? My parents bought a gift card at the Albany location for my wife and I. The back of the card had Saratoga on it. Thankfully, we presented the gift card receipt after being told we could only use it in Saratoga when the receipt showed it was purchased in Albany. Thankfully, the server and the manager didn’t give up on the situation and were able to manually enter the card number in despite the magnetic strip on the card not working. Bravo to them! However, the only gift cards you are able to purchase in Albany say Saratoga on the back. So if you have a gift card, you better bring a gift card receipt or you may not be able to use it. I hope you guys look at the policy. My only negative. Other than that sushi is fresh and quick and great service !”

I engineered 'Lena's Open Door', for a few years. Lena knew her stuff about the folk and acoustic music of the day. I am confident that she still would were she still alive today.”

“What a great find this was today! Great band on the patio, they apparently play every Sunday afternoon. Varied beer selections, something for everyone- we love IPAs and their Saratoga Squeeze was excellent. The food was just as good as the beer here, which was a big plus! Great menu, wonderfully prepared, and well priced. Highly recommend this place for fun, food, and beer!”

The food was absolutely AMAZING and had very generous servings?. Everyone went home with a smile on our face, it was the perfect way to cap off our night! “Been going here for years. I'm originally from Brooklyn, NY and we always had fresh seafood down there because we had real "fish stores" in our neighborhoods. Moby Rick's is a REAL fish store. Fresh seafood, friendly service and you know that you're getting quality when you purchase food from them. I always said, "you get what you pay for" and what you spend at Moby Ricks, you are getting top quality food. Very simple!”

We wanted our reception there and Michelle and Tina were so easy to work with and very accommodating, with many helpful suggestions. Then a couple of weeks ago the ceremony venue fell through - Michelle to the rescue! Her response is almost always “no problem, we can help you”. They left their beach bar tent up an extra week, cleaned it out, helped us set it up and even painted over a sign for us! It ended up being a beautiful space for the ceremony. The reception.. the food was delicious, the service was impeccable.. not intrusive but friendly and always there. We are so happy we chose Dock Browns - it was a perfect day we will remember forever.”
