“Mike's Coffee Shop has a quintessential diner feel and you better get there early if you want to snag a booth. They serve up all the classics and none of that $14 pancakes nonsense. I focused in on the Greek Specialties section and ordered a Gyro on Pita for $7.25. It has a good amount of meat, tomatoes, onions, lettuce, and tzatziki on soft pita. I could've used a squeeze of lemon on the side, but otherwise a flawless diner experience.“

Every time I have done this, without exception, I have had to stand and wait as my order hasn't even been started yet - and I do arrive at designated pick up time. Interestingly if you order delivery it arrives in 15 mins:) That aside, this is hands down the best diner food I have encountered. It never fails to amaze me when I see the lines outside Gramercy Diner where the food is terrible when this place is so much better!! Highly recommended, with the atmosphere and decor of a classic diner should you choose to eat in rather than take away.“

The food is exactly what you'd want it to be; we had a breakfast burrito and avocado toast with poached eggs which we perfectly cooked. Free refills on the coffee was brilliant too. We were there about 8:45 and were seated straight away, order was taken promptly and the food arrived without any real wait. Definitely recommend.“

“Squire’s Diner is one of those places that reminds you why local diners are still the best. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt welcoming and comfortable.

I booked a large group reservation here for a surprise birthday dinner, and everything went smoothly from start to finish. The food was excellent, and throughout the night our friends kept commenting on how delicious everything was.

A special shoutout to Antonio, our server, who went above and beyond to make sure everyone was taken care of and having a great time. The rest of the staff were also exceptionally friendly, attentive, and welcoming. We had a group of 20 people, and they handled our orders in a very organized manner. Despite the size of our party, the food came out quickly and everything was accurate.

Thanks to the outstanding service, we were able to relax and fully enjoy the celebration. I brought a birthday cake, and the staff helped set it up with candles and even sang with us. It was such a thoughtful, heartwarming gesture that made the night even more special.

The restaurant is conveniently located near Lincoln Center, making it a great choice before or after a show. Plus, they're open early and late every day, which makes planning easy.

“Stopped by Tria Bakery Cafe Diner while waiting out a 2-hour wait at Golden Diner. We were starving and didn’t want to stand around in the cold, and this place ended up being the perfect move. It’s only about a 6-minute walk from Golden Diner, and we were able to sit down, stay warm, and enjoy good food and coffee while we waited.
