“This place has quickly become my favorite restaurant in Queens. A quick walk past the kitchen and the friendly staff on the grill upon entry and you are already excited about what’s to come.

Service is attentive and they offer you a lot of help with the menu if needed. I noticed the table next to me was sharing a bottle of ouzo. They noticed me looking and gladly offered me some. It was a great experience.

Keep in mind they can get busy on the weekends and on holidays.“

“Everything about our experience here was so so amazing. The second we walked in the door all the servers were so warm and welcoming. When ordering our food they were incredibly patient despite being very busy and took the time to answer any questions we had and talk to us about Greek culture and cuisine. The food felt like a homecooked meal and I would not be surprised if there was someone's grandmother in the kitchen doing all the cooking. On top of all this, the feta....it changed my life. I am not sure where they get it from but I could eat it with a spoon from the jar. Highly, highly, highly recommend this restaurant.“

“Gus and Marty’s is a MUST try. The ambiance is relaxed but sophisticated and the food is to die for. Best pita I have ever had and they were generous with it! The eggplant dip and lemon potatoes were my favorites but you can’t go wrong. Lamb riblets, spinach pie, and octopus were all incredible as well. Our server Alex was friendly and attentive. We were visiting from out of town and will try to make it here every single time we’re in Brooklyn“

“Food is terrific and authentic! In lieu of a bread basket they put down a plate of excellent pita and eggplant dip and also gave us and the tables around us a complimentary dessert (delicious). Not sure if this is typical or just for the particular night I was there. Service could be smoother... not bad, but someone should train the waitstaff to give people a few minutes to make menu selections (not come to the table 3 times in 10 minutes) and to check back in halfway through to inquire if anyone would like more wine/drinks. I had to stop the waiter to ask for a second glass of wine, which never showed up. The decor was pleasant and would've been pretty quiet if not for a large table of very boisterous people. Overall, a wonderful, authentic, local spot that I will definitely return to!“

“We ordered assorted gyros, souvlaki, tacos and baklava. The staff was friendly and the service was wonderful. Over all decent and accommodating to the greek culture with a twist of spanish. Only thing I would change is to add oragano salt and pepper to the gyros and don't blend the tzatziki makes it a bit pasty in texture but flavor was 7/10. The baklava less refrigerated time and more syrup not leaving the tops so dry. Would visit again.“

“Food is really good! Comparably priced to most of the fast casual restaurants in midtown area. Got the Piato both times, and the potatoes are great as a base. Chicken is crispy and nice, and the Bambi and Greek Salads are fire. Service is really really good too, and personally get a kick out of the door to the basement being covered by the trash can lol.

“I stopped by just to grab some food while I waited for my meeting to start. I ordered the chicken souvlaki from the appetizer section. I was surprised by how big the platter was, it was more like an entree! It came with pita as well. It was absolutely delicious, the chicken was soft and tender and full of flavor. The pita was toasted and crispy with seasoning as well. I also ordered an espresso martini (my fave) with reposado, they make it with real espresso!!! A lot of places just use cold brew, so I was delighted that they had actual espresso. Laura the bartender (I sat at the bar) was so welcoming and friendly. The place itself is nicely decorated and has a good ambiance. I recommend this place and will definitely be back!“

She made sure that we were well taken care of in every way. All our dietary restriction were met. The Owner, Dennis was very nice and accommodating from day one. He made sure we had a great time.
