“This place ended up being such a pleasant surprise. The menu had a really nice variety without feeling overwhelming — plenty of different meat cuts, cheeses, salads, sandwiches, and lighter options, so it felt easy to find something that matched whatever mood you’re in.

We started with the French onion soup, and it was honestly one of the better versions I’ve had in a while. The cheese on top was perfectly melted and flavorful without becoming too heavy, and the balance between the broth and onions was done really well. A lot of places overload the onions to the point where the soup loses its depth, but this one kept everything balanced and comforting.

We also ordered a panini-style baguette sandwich, which was fresh, crisp, and packed with flavor. The bread had a great texture, and the mix of vegetables paired really nicely with the vinaigrette and mustard dipping sauces. The sauces actually stood out because they added flavor without overpowering the sandwich itself.

The atmosphere made the whole experience even better. The bright interior, cozy setup, and French snacks lining the walls gave the restaurant a charming café feel that felt both casual and inviting. It had personality without trying too hard to be trendy.

Another highlight was the staff. Everyone was incredibly polite, patient, and genuinely helpful when it came to recommendations. Even with the place staying busy, the food came out surprisingly fast, which made the experience feel smooth from start to finish.

And the Nutella crepe absolutely lived up to expectations. They definitely didn’t hold back on the filling, and it made for a really satisfying dessert to end the meal.

The only small downside is that indoor seating is limited, so I could see it becoming crowded during peak hours. Still, between the quality of the food, the welcoming atmosphere, and the friendly service, it’s definitely a spot worth returning to.“

“Caveat, I did go here pregnant after fasting for 15 hours for a blood test so this is a very biased review. I had the chicken parm on the rosemary potato focaccia. The bread was fresh. Sandwich was warm. It felt like a hug. It was just what I needed. Very small seating area so definitely more of a togo spot but I was ravenous, undeterred and a bit delirious so inhaled the sandwich there and then got a Nutella filled donut to go.“

“I attended an event that had rented this space. It is very clean, well lit, everything with the space seemed to be working well. It is in a complex that faces a parking lot. My only suggestion would be better signage as to where the entrance is at. (Hint: look for the blue door)“

You can’t go wrong with any of the items here honestly. But our go to’s are always the roast beef sandwich, western beef burger, crown fritters, chicken wings, and orangeade drink! You also have the option to put cheese on anything! If you have a young one, ask one of the cashiers for a free ballon. If happens to be your birthday, you get to spin the giant wheel for a chance to win $5-$20 prize for next time use. Also, if you spend more than $45 per order, you can get a free pizza. The inside dining area seems like it’s still stuck in the 1990s, but I’m fine with that!“

“I live on Long Island and happened to be in Brooklyn for my son‘s basketball tournament googled a place to eat nearby and Jimmy’s came up as one of my closest locations so glad I went with this option that hero was amazing. One of the best heroes I’ve ever had. Everything was fresh bread was fresh salami was thin cut just like I like it. Service was quick. I came on a Sunday morning, so the parking was not that bad. Definitely a go to and I will keep coming back every time I visit Brooklyn.“

“An absolute gem! The staff is so friendly, and very knowledgeable. We tried the World Famous Cheeseburger pizza -aka the heart attack- and boy was it so worth it! From watching it be made to fighting through my last few bites, it was so outstanding that it had me coming back for more. A gooey fried egg, to the Chipotle mayo, just well put together. We also tried the new Care Package pie where we tried a bit of all the chicken pies, and it was a fun experience. Five varieties of prosciutto to choose from and extremely sharp aged provolone and parmesagna are the real deal. Long serving deli staff are friendly and attentive, knowing their customers and their preferences. Around the holidays the deli has all the traditional Christmas foods especially panettone galore! The tops of the shelves fill with hundreds of Italian panettone of many elegant varieties: limoncello, hazelnut, pistachio, latte, nutella, even gluten free ppannetone. Prices are a little higher than surrounding import markets but not unmanageable so. This deli is a treasure of Broadway and a perennial favorite.“
