The fig panna cotta and pistachio cake were so rich and delicious, my taste buds will still bursting well after dinner was over. The views of the redwoods were a beautiful touch to the ambiance that made dinner even more magical.“

“Stop the presses!! I found a great new restaurant where artistry trumps slinging hash. It’s Pop Empanada, re-christened Pop Pasta Supper Club on Thursdays and Saturday nights. On those days, Chef Nicolas Pescatore prepares a 6 course meal, and even if you don’t like every course, you will appreciate the artistry and the ambition. Tonight, the courses were 1. celery avocado salad (replacing salmon, which this landlubber doesn’t like), 2. shrimp empanada in a butter curry sauce, 3. pork belly confit, 4. raviolo-soft boiled egg center in a brown butter sage sauce, 5. brisket ragu paccheri pasta, and 6. dessert of frangelica panna cotta key lime shortbread crumble. The cost with tip is around $100 per person plus the cost of your BYOB. We wouldn’t pay that cost often, but it’s a welcome break from the restaurants where kitchen staff show up at 4 PM and are ready to serve at 5pm.“

“Yesterday 1st time had the ribs to die for .loved it all except the mac and cheese was a little to dry and wasnt a fan of the shell macaroni.but i did see a pizza pie go by and man it looks real good.im coming back my family and turn them on.“

“After finishing the kids' new school registration, we stopped by this pizza place for lunch. It was probably the first lunch I'd ever had in this neighborhood. We'd just finalized the house contract, so I'd taken a bus from a hotel in New York City to get here early in the morning.

Both my kids and I wanted a slice of Margherita pizza. But they only had two slices left! I was about to just order something else. But a kitchen staff member who was about to take a break came back in and made us a pizza. They willingly baked a whole new pizza just for one slice of Margherita. That pizza was so delicious, I still can't forget the taste of that Margherita. We were hungry and tired, but it tasted even better because of the staff's kindness in baking a fresh pizza just for us, for that one slice.

Since then, we've become regulars here and still order the Margherita pizza. And honestly, the pizza is truly delicious. It's not just because we feel grateful that we keep coming back.“

I ordered the pernil taco and it was absolutely loaded with juicy pork and bold seasoning. The tequila lime chicken bowl with quinoa was light but super satisfying, and the DIY burrito I built (steak, mushrooms, mango salsa, queso fresco) was honestly one of the best I’ve had.

The loaded fries were ridiculous in the best way cheese wiz, queso fresco, and bacon, total comfort food. I also tried two drinks the spicy strawberry margarita and their signature “Something Waco” both were unique and hit the spot. Finished with the tres leches cake, which was rich and creamy without being too heavy.

Service was quick, the staff was friendly, and the whole vibe was welcoming. Definitely a spot I’ll be returning to, and recommending to friends!“

“i drove here all the way from danbury, ct & let me tell you.. this place did NOT disappoint! hands down the best tacos & quesadilla i’ve ever had in my life. the crunch of the warm shell mixed with the ground beef and cheese was 🔥. the chicken in the quesadilla was shredded and amazing. my friend had the steak tacos, and i’m not a big fan of steak in general but i tried some of hers - it literally melted in my mouth. if i was going to eat steak it would be here. literally everything was cooked to perfection. the drinks being absolutely on point was just a bonus. please open a location close to danbury so you can take all my money😅.
