“The Beef patties are always being made fresh and whenever Im in the area I make a special stop for 10 or 20 patties to bring home to Staten Island. I have been coming here for years. They are delicious but this is very spicy food so go with the mild patties as they are still spicy but not overbearing if your not a custom to it.“

“This used to be one of my favorite spots to go to. I went a week ago, and the food was completely different and insanely overpriced. I ordered almost as soon as I came in and a couple that sat down 20 minutes after I did got their food ate it paid the check and left when my food was just arriving and I waited for over 20 minutes for one drink. The food is nothing like it used to be at all. $100 for two drinks and one meal is insane.“

“The food is excellent and abundant. Just trust the person serving you from the abundant display of ingredients, and simply nod, even if you’re not sure what they said, and you’ll be happy. Know that what you ask for may be challenged by the server by how they’d prefer to serve it (“This is better with gravy…. Do you want more curry potato to balance out the heat?”) or what most people order as a side. Fact is, this is very much like being fed by family/friends. Embrace it.

“Service” is a hard thing to rate in stars. It is not what you expect. If you don’t understand the lingo or the accent, you might be confused, intimidated, or think they are mad at you. Just don’t worry about it, nod and ay.

There is no “atmosphere”, really - just a very practical, abundant serving station behind a hooded glass enclosure that will make your mouth water.

Vegetarian options: Ask for a roti or (dal pourie) with vegetables. Which ones? Ask for all of them. Nod each time they ask you to reconfirm. Keep the roti separate. One serving is two FULL meals.“

“We always order using delivery apps though wanted to come in for the full experience. SO GLAD WE DID. First off, this has to be one of the cleanest restaurants I have ever been in. That made me feel really happy. Now to the food! Came for the Taco Tuesday Special and so happy we did. We came very late in the evening so we missed the jerk chicken tacos though I was not disappointed in the jerk beef tacos. Such a great deal and it was delicious. These were the full size tacos, not the minis. Run don’t walk as I’m sure this deal wont last. We also ordered the fried fish and grits , we paid for extra for more fish and so goad we did. I didn’t expect a carribean place to be my new go to fish spot but here we are! We ordered the collard greens which were a little different than the southern style I’m accustomed to though had a spice to kick it up.

Friendly staff and very welcoming. They offered us samples of their new fresh made sea moss which was delicious and we grabbed more to take home.

I guess the extreme heat during summer and how the mithai was stored at Fazee’s ruined the texture of it. I was passing by and I decided to go in and check them out first of all if you were looking for like homemade Guyanese fried rice then definitely go there. It’s so yummy.
