“I wanted to know if this would live up to it's high rating so decided to give it a try. I went on a Wednesday at 11:30am. There is parking across the street, behind the building. It's municipal 1 hour free parking. There is metered 2 hour parking in the front. While we were there, we were the only dine in customers. They were doing a lot of take out. We had the dumplings and the ramen. There was a lot of ramen. The pork was tender and juicy. The egg was creamy and not at all salty. The broth was the star. It was flavorful but not salty. It had depth. I could do with less oil but that's a tiny complaint. It lived up to the hype.Parking: Free one hour parking across the street. Metered two hour parking in the street.Wheelchair accessibility: Tight but doable.“

“I noticed this across from North Shore Farms a few weeks ago and finally tried it today. Inside they kept the bar from the old Bayou days. Used to love that place. Anyway this will be on my must go to often. Tan Tan Ramen was made with white meat ground chicken instead of pork. Some of the best I’ve had on Long Island. After I chatted with the owner. “This is our new " go to" restaurant in Glen Cove. The decor is playful and inviting. The wait staff efficient and friendly. And the food absolutely wonderful. Every time we return we order something different. Especially loved the Shrimp Domburi and Chicken Shoyu Ramen. You could honestly have a meal eating just the appetizers. Don't forget their rewards program! I was able to get $6 off our dinner order. BOGO wine is a plus.Check this place out, you won't be disappointed!“

Outdoor dining is well lit and looks cozy but actually fits many tables and configurations for parties of all sizes. Saw outdoor tables for two and tables for up to 10 while we were there. My son and I had just finished watching a movie and we were hungry, so we decided on some ramen to warm us up.Everything we ordered was served quickly by some very nice ladies. My spicy tuna roll was delicious and my son enjoyed his takoyali very much. We both ordered Tonkotsu ramen. I always order miso ramen, so it was my first go with Tonkotsu. I liked it. As did my son. “The food was absolutely great. I had the Bakuto pork ramen and it was absolutely delicious, flavorful and rich broth and tender pork. I particularly liked the mushrooms included in the ramen. My friend had the spicy cold noodles which were also tasty. The service was great, we did have some issues with the waiter mishearing us, ordered chicken bun but got a shrimp bun, but the waiter was quick to comp us for the shrimp and put in the order for the chicken bun. Both buns were good but the chicken was better than the shrimp. The dumpling were solid but nothing special. A nice atmosphere, there was a mini Spock photo hidden in a tea cup which was cute. A great restaurant for a nice dinner!“
“My lunch bento box was freshly made and very tasty. The chicken was tender the sauce was not overly sweet nor too much. The vegetables fresh. Only downfall was the California roll which was just ok as were the three small cigar size spring rolls Will definitely go back and try the different items as well as the basic Chinese food items“
