“We’ve been here many times, and the service is always excellent. It’s a great spot to visit, especially if someone in the group isn’t a fan of seafood. Although it’s a seafood restaurant, they offer a variety of delicious Korean dishes. Our favorites are 김치찌개, 돈까스, and 한치회무침—which almost tastes like 물회, just without the soup. All the rolls are fantastic as well. Highly recommend!“

The chicken teriyaki box is a great deal served fresh with fantastic flavor and came with so many delicious sides. I also tried a couple of sushi rolls and seems like you can't go wrong with any options. I haven't had fresh cuts of fish like that anywhere else! Definitely recommend!“

“My family arrived at Sushi and Kimchi late in the evening right before their closing, but the host welcomed us and informed us what was available. We were so grateful. The food was authentic and delicious (My 80 year old Korean mom approved them too!!) and the service was beyond imaginable. We are very jealous of locals who can go eat there often. “I would say this is the best Hibachi I have ever had! All are cooked from the top notch fresh ingredients. The sea bass is juicy, the steak is just right, the fried rice and noodles have a pleasant garlic favor which I never had it before at other restaurants , homemade teriyaki sauce adds just right sweetness. “We decided to try this sushi spot under its new ownership—and we’re so glad we did! The sushi was incredibly fresh, and the menu had a great variety of rolls to choose from. My daughter ordered the Udon noodles, which were packed with flavor and served with crisp, fresh vegetables.

The sushi chef even surprised us with a complimentary roll as a thank-you for coming in—it was almost too beautiful to eat! And to top it off, they gave us each a serving of mochi ice cream on the house, which was a perfect sweet ending.

“The food here was fantastic — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The restaurant was clean and the atmosphere was lovely. Our server was incredibly kind and welcoming; truly one of the best dining experiences in terms of service.

However, our meal was disrupted by a group of unaccompanied children who were very loud, constantly changing the restaurant’s music, and playing with the volume to the point it was hard to hold a conversation. One even mentioned their dad owns the building. Another diner actually asked if they were ours because it was that disruptive.

I really hope the owner addresses this, because it’s not fair to the staff or the guests if the children are being truthful about coming three times a week being this disruptive. Otherwise, this place is wonderful and I’d absolutely return when I’m back in the area.“

My choice is to have it over greens, but I think it would be just as good over brown rice. The staff is incredibly friendly, patient with new customers, and so helpful. Prices reflect food quality. Be prepared to pay for the best all around Japanese food in the area. I thoroughly enjoyed the food and the atmosphere.

They run it like fine dining, not like a casual sushi bar. So they have strict rules around noise, noisy kids, and cell phones. Don't expect to bring your kid and set him up with an ipad with the volume on. Seems reasonable. No outside food, no exceptions. Seems reasonable.
