“I had an issue with an excess charge on my credit card for a take out order. The owner contacted me and investigated it. He refunded the excess amount and I'm glad they are on top of it. Great customer service and really wanting to make things right.
Overall, I enjoy eating here and I've recommended it to my family and friends. I have tried a couple of their dishes and they are popular for their handroll. Sushi set is also a must. The sea bass is my fave, it just takes a while to be cook because they grill it. My bf likes the hormone don. A good spot for those who wants to try korean/ japanese fusion dish. The take out box sushi set presentation adds a nice touch. ?“

From Onigiris to Tuna Don, Maze Gohan as well as ramen soups. I mean everything is so perfect. She has a great selection of sake to die for as well as beer. “I got a takeout order of the lunch special chicken teriyaki bento box to try this place for the first time. The chicken was really soft and delicious. Under the chicken there is cabbage and broccoli which were both cooked well. The California roll was good - the rice had good flavor, and the avocado was soft. I feel more confident to try their raw sushi now. I'll update my review whenever I get around to trying that.

This place used to be a Chinese store, and around 2022 a new management took over and turned it into a sushi place. it still looks like a regular Bronx Chinese store inside. Unlike other sushi restaurants, this isn't really the kind of place I'd want to sit and eat. But it's great for takeout.“

“Brought my parents here for dinner. I ordered chirashi (sashimi style fish over rice), my dad ordered a sushi combo, and my mom got the broiled mackerel (saba). Food was delicious and the atmosphere was great — restaurant is nicely decorated and they were playing soft jazz music in the background. Service was friendly and prompt, I also had the opportunity to order our meals in Japanese which was a lot of fun. All in all, Fujinoya is my favorite Japanese restaurant in Westchester and I would highly recommend it!“

After trying their Sakura roll and honey truffle roll, I can confidently say that I have surpassed the human form and ascended into heaven. This is the BEST sushi I have tried. “So my boyfriend was looking for Japanese restaurants that have very good sushi to deliver from UberEats. We ordered at 7pm and the order finally came at 9pm. That’s pretty insane for a place to take that long and I know at times the uber eats driver will have other rides along the way but 2hrs is crazy when the restaurant is 17min drive from me. So the wait time was annoying but the sushi was good. What I didn’t like was that my vegetable gyozas came soft and warm. My sushi order came incorrect. I wanted 1 shrimp tempura and 1 sweet potato tempura. I got 2 orders of the shrimp tempura. Luckily it was good but since the food was a bit warm the crunchiness of the tempura was a bit gone. The sushi did taste good though! I definitely would like to dine in and try the food fresh because I hate being disappointed by food. Can’t wait to come in and try more of their dishes!“

Tempura wasn’t comparable quality to other places in and around NyC at a similar price point. The people that own and run, this restaurant could not be more accommodating, helpful, and generous. Your experience had absolutely nothing to do with the outstanding quality of their food and service. If you have enough time to write that completely unrelated review and post it. Then you should find the time to consult with a physician and address your own personal bathroom issues. Regardless of your situation, ultimately they were kind enough to allow you to use their restroom.“

“This is the place if you want authentic, high quality, Japanese food. The small dishes on the separate menu are really delightful.

Prices reflect food quality. Be prepared to pay for the best all around Japanese food in the area. I thoroughly enjoyed the food and the atmosphere.

They run it like fine dining, not like a casual sushi bar. So they have strict rules around noise, noisy kids, and cell phones. Don't expect to bring your kid and set him up with an ipad with the volume on. Seems reasonable. No outside food, no exceptions. Seems reasonable.

The servers were polite, no issues in this department.

“Best Sushi in Yonkers. All the rolls are absolutely fresh and decadent. The quesadillas are excellent as well. A fun mix of Sushi & Mexican. A must go to if ever in Yonkers. I even dare say it is the best sushi in the Bronx. They are located less than 1/3 of a mile from the Bronx border and they deliver to the surrounding neighborhood in the Bronx. The guy who took our order is very amicable. The sushi chef prepares the rolls right in front of you. It was a great experience.“
