“First review of 2024, and we could not think of a better restaurant to review! @buleriataberna has officially become one of our favorites. Every single bite bursts with flavor! • 🥝 Kiwi Mojito 🍲 Calldo Gallego 🐑 Lamb Skewers 🦞 Tres Colas 🦐 Empanadas 🥩 Angus Beef Croquettes 🥩 Churrasco Bravo • I wish we had room for more because every single item was great and the deserts looked amazing, we just physically could not eat anymore! 😂 The vibes were great. Service spectacular! Food amazing. We can’t wait to go back for happy hour and the night life, will do another review of course 😉 - We did get a small dessert which was the Sherry Port. Think Sherry from Spain meets Port from Portugal! Do I need to say more?! 🤤“

“I attended a surprise party this Saturday evening. The cuisine was preselected, waiter service was excellent, should receive raises. The table arrangement was very poor. The party was downstairs in one of the private rooms. We were 25 people at one very long table, basically the length of the room, which made it difficult for guests to get around the seated persons at the head of the table on either side. Having two tables would have been a better arrangement, but one long table was not conducive for conversation since we were so far from the other end of the table. The food; not many complaints, I really didn’t have a problem. I didn’t have a lot of food, but it was delicious. The dessert, sorry not very good. Those Famous Crepes(palacinkes) sorry not that great. A lot of crepe and not a lot of filling. The dish was served with fruit, unfortunately this fruit was not in season, so the watermelon although it added color to the dish, upon tasting it, left much to be desired. Why not serve fruit that is in season? No offense to my party hosts who selected my menu for the evening, it didn’t lend itself to the 5 Star Reputation of Dubrovnik’s. I would like to make reservations and splurge on a dinner on my own, I have a feeling I would LOVE the experience! Btw, another plus was the parking!“

“Very good place for Neapolitan-style pizza. We started off with grilled artichoke hearts with lemon vinaigrette & shaved pecorino toscano - a nice antipasto - and then shared two pizzas: the spicy Picca (tomato sauce, fontina, hot sausage, red onions, chillies) and the Norma (tomato sauce, fried eggplant, ricotta, pecorino, garlic & basil).

Both were really good - with soft, pillowy, lightly-charred Neapolitan-style crust - but the zesty Picca had the edge (the Norma was slightly bland / under seasoned).

“So my Lenten sacrifice included all things that look good, taste good & make me feel good. So last night after an intense interpersonal interaction earlier in the day I headed to Yatenga. I was greeted by the lovely Todd the bar man (one of the things that look good)who greeted warmly and took my order. He returned with my preferred cocktail-The Lou Lou! The fact that he remembered made me feel like a Prince (only a Prince as he’s a King). I started my meal with the Cauliflower soup which was well flavored and simply delicious. It was so good it was enough to turn a carnivore into a vegetarian! Then I had the Chicken Francaise which was prepared to perfection. The accompanying sauce was smooth and also highly flavored. The chicken breast’s were tender & the texture was as if the chicken had just been sacrificed moments before. The vegetables of haricot verts and carrots were perfectly al dente. And my dessert of Tart Tartin could not have been better; nice flaky crust and perfectly sweetened! In the past 13 years I have not patronized another restaurant in Harlem in particular and NYC in general. Why? Because I don’t have the confidence that I will be as well treated and cared for and well-fed as I am at Yatenga. The fact that Todd the barman does double duty as a server and does it affably is one major reason I keep going back. The management must be superior-why else would the staff be so equally superior. I travel a lot for work & thusly try to avoid restaurants in other towns and villages because I know they’re not Yatenga.“

“My wife and I were there for a political function combo meeting and Christmas luncheon. This establishment is super clean, bright, and cozy. The food and wine were delicious. I had chicken parm. Was fantastic. Was batted down thin and breaded and seasoned to perfection. VERY tender, I only had to use my folk to cut. The marinara was fresh semi chunky lite delicious and perfect. The fresh bread came in handy to clean up my plate. My wife has a fresh pasta marinara dish and NO complaints there. The prices are a bit higher for what it is (happy hour prices makes it manageable), the sausage plate isn’t that great (chorizo better than the bratwurst which felt flat and lacked flavor), but there is a variety of beers on tap.“

“Came here for a birthday soirée that was in a private room, the room was lovely and cozy and perfect for the event, the appetizers were great, the food was great the service was less then desirable. The cocktail menu was great and the drinks I actually got were divine but the wait for them and the mood of the server was less then desirable especially for a birthday party, she treated us as if we were a hindrance and we were bothering her by asking her for drinks. Usually, when booking a private party, you get the best of the best as your server if this was their best, it definitely was not good enough.“

“Great find in Scarsdale! Cutest little spot that transports you to a restaurant in the Mediterranean/Italy. Small, well appointed trattoria style restaurant. Warm, friendly service. Great natural light.

This is the place for those perfect aperol spritzies & fresh food. Fresh bread & imported olive oil served to start. We then ordered the Mediterranea Salad which was so refreshing: tomatoes, red peppers, cucumber, red onion, feta & light lemon dressing - great start. Margherita pizza & the Chicken Parm were both outstanding. Pizza is the perfect size, light but crispy with san marzano tomatoes, mozzarella fior di latte, evoo & basil. The Chicken Parm is understated, but hits all the marks - chicken pounded thin, crispy breading, tangy sauce & fresh parm.

Same owner as Cafe Alaia, which we're trying next, but this spot is already heavy in our rotation from now on.

“I've been to this location a handful of times. I was waiting for a friend so I sat at the bar for about 25 minutes and was served by Scarlett. She was super friendly and made me a couple of tasty cocktails. It wasn't super busy so I was able to get serviced fast and efficiently. When my friend arrived, we migrated to the dining area to eat. I believe our servers name was Mike. A young man that I recognized from my previous times at the restaurant. He was super knowledgeable of the menu and was a pleasure to have. Overall a great experience. The only thing I felt different from the previous times I dined at the restaurant was it felt like the employees were speaking more script like, like the company told them to say xyz to the customers. Felt fake and forced. These employees are good without being told what to say.“
