“We had read many good reviews about this place and decided to check it out. We we not disappointed. Our host/ bartender and server Tara was fantastic. Friendly and attentive and answered all questions asked about the place.
We both ordered the Fried Seafood Platter. It came with a huge piece of haddock, shrimp and scallops with enough fries to feed three people. All cooked perfectly. I live 5 minutes away and am so glad I went. Will definitely be returning to try other dishes there. Do not pass this place up! A hidden gem!“

Our waitress, Kari, was absolutely amazing—thoughtful with her recommendations, attentive without being overbearing, and she had such a refreshing, friendly personality. She made sure we had everything we needed the entire evening. We started with the braised beef short rib ravioli, which was beyond tasty—rich, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. For my main course, I had the crusted pork chop with au gratin potatoes and escarole, and it was truly delicious and cooked to perfection. And the peanut butter pie for dessert was exactly the sweet treat I needed to end the night. To top it all off, the manager even came out to wish me a happy birthday, which made the experience feel extra special. The atmosphere is calming, cozy, and welcoming, and everyone we interacted with was incredibly friendly. “I miss the days of greasy spoons on weekends. This was a nice treat as I stopped by passing through town. The diner had a nice homey feel, and the food was good. I had a sausage, peppers, and onion omelet with Itlaian toast and coffee. Food was up in about 10 minutes. The waitress was kind and attentive.If I lived in town, that would be a place I would frequent most weekends.“

It provided the way I thought it would, except for ONE FLAW.. So, I order the Make your Own Grand Slam with 2 Eggs (Ordered them over easy) 2 Bacon Strips, Toast, and Pancakes. It came pretty quick, 8 minutes, not bad. The eggs were suspicious. I checked them and, what do ya know? It's not cooked right. It's not cooked AT ALL. So, I get it remade of course. They remake it, but with extra surprise. The surprise? It was greater than if my mom cooked it. My waiter was so good with service and understanding. So, I just wanna say, thank you, Denny's Staff. :D“
