“The Oatmeal Raisin Scone here is easily one of my favorite baked goods in the Hamptons. The staff remains consistently welcoming, and the aroma from the open, visible bakery is wonderful. The interior and style is sort of generic and feels a bit like the chain it is. Seating is limited to an outdoor bench. It remains a wonderfully relaxed spot to pick up a coffee and a delicious treat.”

“I've never had anything but terrific take-out from Red Door, and I've never found their service to be anything but professional. They've been a reliable year-round go-to for ages — *far* better than the old place at this same location, which was erratic. The estimated wait times they post on their website have always been accurate for me, so I've never had to wait for more time than it takes the person ahead of me to pick up their order. As for their prices, let's be honest, it's the Hamptons. But nothing is outrageous, and I tend to enjoy my $80 take-out dinners over three or four meals. Over these many years, I’ve never found better Chinese food anywhere in the East End, which is why I'm heading there tonight.”

“We visited on Saturday evening during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. From the moment we entered through the front door, we were welcomed by big smiles, big smells of delicious food, and what felt like a warm hug from a good friend. Classic and palette awakening cocktails. Try the brandade fritters and the best Caesar salad I have ever enjoyed. Sea bass was fresh out of the waters that surround the east end. The burger and the roasted chicken. For sides we ordered the onion gratin, romanesco and French fries. Surprise banana split for dessert. Delicious! See you again soon. Happy Holidays!”

This man and his business lifelong accomplice, Chef Pete are the customer based/retail version of why and how I got into food. Fred, Pete, Sous/Exec Jorge, Brandon, and yes... even Justin taught me the lines and roles of each station in a restaurant. Honey, I was green and sad and super motivated. These guys rode me like white on fkn rice. Due to that whoo-hah, I can carry my own brigade and make a killing in the raw arena. Fred was a master at his craft 60ish years ago and still is - encouraging line cooks to expound and expand 20+ years down the line. forever grateful.”

“It is one of the best and most upscale wineries on Long Island. The wine selection is very large with some great roses, whites and reds. They also have a very delicious sake cider. I’m sooooo tired of dogs coming into food places on the East End! Their sign is refreshing (direct and kind). Thanks Sweet Spot, our town loves this summer location, that’s right across from Hampton Chutney (my other fav spot). 😊”

I had my birthday dinner at Topping Rose House, and it was an amazing experience—just like every other time we’ve been there. The food and drinks were absolutely delicious, and the service was outstanding. Our waitress was so kind and patient, even with our little toddler being a bit wild! Gerry was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. They even brought out a dessert with a candle for me, which was such a sweet touch. Overall, a wonderful experience—I’d recommend this place 100%!”
