“Our first time at this restaurant and it was amazing, the ambiance & food ! Fried Calamari was to die for and we both thought it was the best we’ve ever had. Our server Sophia was so pleasant and gave great recommendations. We will be back! So good we are thinking about having our small wedding reception of 50pl at this location if possible.Vegetarian options: Mochi & Entrees“
“I had a pleasant experience for a take out, got the chicken biryani along with garlic naan, and enjoyed a masala tea as per recommendation. I believe it was the owner who was there , he was amicable and welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious, full of spice and flavorful. Tea was enough to soothe my soul . overall 10/10. Cant wait to try the rest of the menu!“
“First visit to this restaurant and definitely not the last! We tried the south indian cuisine. Both ghee roast dosa and utthappam were great! They were as close in taste to the ones that you get back in India! The chilli potato appetizer was delicious too! Definitely coming back to try more of what this place offers!..“
“Incredible place with a diverse menu that has tons of different flavors. This is a go-to spot for any vegetarian to grab different styles of momo's and chaaps. We ordered tandoori and fried momo's, along with Afghani and Amritsari chaap; everything was so delicious and this will be my go-to spot. A must try the vegetarian option in Nassau County NY!!“
“Food was good, but we wished it was spicier. We usually order medium at Indian restaurants out of precaution. Their medium is like a mild for Indians. Chicken 65 and Dum Murgh had excessive red food color. Dessert was good. Waiter was friendly and accommodating“
“PHENOMENAL EATS!! We came here for a late lunch…every dish we ordered was stellar! We are always trying new restaurants and have eaten at quite a few Indian spots. Hands down, best one yet. the Chicken Tandoori was among of the best chicken I’ve had in my life. Was extremely fresh, came out steaming, and fell right off the bone beautifully. So juicy!! :) The service was also amazing, very humble business owner. If you want authentic and delicious flavors, for an affordable price this is a MUST try! We left so happy.“
“Finally found an authentic Indian place. Loved every dish we ordered. The cashier was really friendly. The place was very busy even though we went there for take out foods at 3pm on a Saturday. Need to go back there again and try different dish.“
“We ordered food through uber eats and to our surprise it was excellent. We never heard the name of this place until it was suggested by uber eats when i entered in the search "vada pav" lol... We ordered multiple things from menu like paneer tikka masala, vada pav, pav bhaji, butter naan etc. Everything was good.“
“Now that’s something Hicksville was waiting for, newly opened that’s why not so popular but I must admit they are one of the best roll’s in the area I have tried so far.I personally recommend to give it a try.The only suggestion I would like to add to the owner is please add some dips option.“
“Kiran Palace is an exceptional Indian restaurant that never fails to impress. The moment you step inside, you are greeted with a warm atmosphere and friendly staff. The menu boasts a wide variety of authentic Indian dishes that are bursting with flavor and spices. From the aromatic biryanis to the creamy butter chicken, every dish is a delightful culinary journey. The portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable, making it an excellent value for money. Whether dining in or getting a takeaway, Kiran Palace is a top choice for those craving delectable Indian cuisine.“
“Went a while ago with me and my friend. But the food not only looked great but tasted better and filled us up. The only thing better than the food was the service as the lady who helped us out was generous and helpful. Just one of the best places to eat in east meadow.“
“The food is good but will definitely put you to sleep. In my opinion that is a good thing. The restaurant pays tribute to the late Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala through a wall decor which in my opinion is so beautiful and unique that puts this eatery in a higher light. The staff is very nice except for this young girl who seems to have an attitude issue. Otherwise I'd recommend this experience.“
“Excellent, all women operated and maintained. tastiest of mithais available in the area. I really loved their collection of mithais. They have good samosas, dehi Barray, and other things available. It's a good experience.Vegetarian options: All are almost vegetarian but many products use milk and eggs.Dietary restrictions: Sweets sweets.Parking: Parking in the street and in the backside of the building as well.Kid-friendliness: Kids can roam easily. But needs to be careful.“
“Came here with my brother. The place is small, and at first was dark so it looked closed. There's parking in the back and when we sat down, they turned on the main lights. There are a few tables but I think their main business is takeout. At first we ordered the Butter Chicken, Lamb Korma, and Garlic Nan. The worker informed us that the two entrees came with either Nan or rice so we chose one of each. And canceled the Garlic Nan. He then upgraded our Nan to the Garlic Nan. I also ordered a Mango Lassi. Did was great. Highly recommend!“
“Cotillion has been my go-to Indian restaurant in Long Island for years, offering an unmatched dining experience every time. Their classics like Chicken Tikka, Cotillion Special Biryani, and the Malai Kabab never disappoint, but it's the Chilli Fried Lamb that truly steals the show. The fusion of traditional and innovative, especially with dishes like Hakka Noodles Chilli Paneer, sets Cotillion apart. Whether dining in or opting for their excellent catering service, Cotillion is a culinary jewel worth experiencing.“
“Great vegetarian food. Menu is hard to follow based solely on the ingredient descriptions, but staff is friendly and helpful. Definitely coming back. Everything was packed with a great balance of intense flavors.Parking: Easy parking out frontKid-friendliness: Easy going atmosphere“
“We were in Hicksville and wanted some snacks for afternoon. We saw this place and wanted to try it. The woman behind the counter was very friendly and knowledgeable. We went for just one item and we ended having three. The most important thing we noticed was their quantity. We had dabeli in so many places but we couldn’t finish this one . As they filled it so much . Their noodles were very tasty, made fresh and they gave lotsss of them. We really enjoyed their food and will definitely go back“
“My all time favorite Indian Restaurant for sure! Never had a bad meal nor was I ever dissatisfied or disappointed by my taste buds. The staff is friendly, professional & super accommodating. The ambiance is ethnic, warm, inviting and a true representation of Indian / Punjabi values of respecting and valuing each guest. Ever since I found this joint, I’ve frequented only here to satisfy the needs of my taste buds for authentic, healthy, hygienic and super tasty Indian cuisine!“
“We went to Mithaas many times for breakfast and methai, this time I went after Shiva Ratri for dinner with fes of my friends. I was not sure what to order since I have tasted most of the food. Everything was amazingly tasty there, A friendly staff helped me to choose spring Dosa. I haven’t tried their Dosa so I ordered it. It was very good. All the staff were helpful and friendly and the owner was very welcoming and polite. My friends ordered chat and chole bhature . We enjoyed the warm vegetarian food . Ambience was pretty casual since it was not a fine dining. We highly recommend this place to everyone. And of course try their sweets… Vey fresh and tasty. This time I choose Jalebi. It was deliciousEnjoy dining at Mithaas with your friends and family.“
“I recently discovered this restaurant with a few friends and we absolutely love it. We came here for iftar and everything was delicious. There were so many items to choose from including butter chicken, bhindi, rice and many appetizers. The chai is also very good. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. The service is excellent as well. A few days later we returned for sehri and everything was on point. The ambiance is very pretty and cozy with beautiful decorations. 10/10.“
“Came here Sunday evening. The place was empty but it seemed like they had a lot of out going orders. We ordered an appetizer of a chickpea thing and it was so yummy! All 3 of us ordered different types of chicken. All 3 were delicious. Service was fast. I wish we got more of the bread crackers with the oil in the beginning. There are mobile menus and physical menus too. I can't wait to come back or order out again. Everything was so fresh.“
“I came here never knowing Hicksville had so much halal options. Being from England where it has the worlds best halal options in the west this place was close to home And exceeded my expectations. Bobby was such a sweetheart He got my order right they took their time to make sure I had the most delicious pizza ever! After Ramadan this pizza hit right! I will be back next week to cater a large order“
“Went for the first time and didn’t know what to expect. We ordered the paper dosa and cheese dosa. These are huge! Plenty of food for 4 people. Everything was delicious! I would definitely recommend to others and return for another night.“
“Beautiful restaurant in the Hilton Hotel on Route 110. I like the atmosphere and they burn insence and have flickering lights on the walls. Friendly staff. I don’t like really spicy food as this place is an Asian fusion of Indian, Chinese and Thai food. The best food is the Hot and Sour Soup with chicken. 10/10 in taste, flavor and quality. I ate here with my friend almost everyday and got take out as well. The spring rolls are ok, the pad Thai noddles are delicious, steamed dumplings are great. Fried rice with chicken is outstanding. Bit pricey for a soda at $5 each.“
“Just loved the flavors. Bitiyani was amazing the chicken kebabs are a must try for anyone eating here. The ahloo paratha was one of the best I've had. Can't wait to go back on my next trip.Dietary restrictions: Halal. No pork.“
“Went for a buffet lunch here. Food was tasty but not as many options as it used to be before Covid. What surprised me the most was, rotiies were not part of the buffet. We had to pay separately for it. It really doesn’t make any sense. I don’t think we would go here for buffet lunch again.“
“I hav only been there once but I think it's safe to say best Indian restaurant on Long Island. The food was phenomenal, the service was great, even the owner came around and had a nice convo with us. We are vegetarian so I can't speak on the meat dishes but everything we had was delicious. Best garlic naan I ever had, the dishes were bigger than I expected for the price, and none of it was greasy or spicy (we asked for mild). Thank you Bobby for a wonderful time in your beautiful restaurant.“
“I highly recommend this venue. My Indian-Bengali wedding held in this venue. It was just the amazing. The person who took care of my event was Akram. He is just amazing and he knows what he is doing. He is willing to help you out all the way. He did my decoration for the wedding the way I wanted & I must say It was just amazing, till the day of my event he made sure everything goes well. Also the food, it was on the point. All of the guest loved the food.Thank you once again Akram - Diksha & Samrat !“
“This was my first time coming here as a suggestion from a friend and I will definitely be back. It wasn’t busy for lunch, staff was attentive and the food was tasty.I ordered the Butter Chicken with regular Naan and my friend ordered the Gobi Manchurian.NOTE: I was pleased to know they don’t use peanut oil in their cooking.Vegetarian options: Gobi Manchurian“
“This place is absolutely amazing. My friend told me to try Pakistani food because I love Indian and Bengali food, and I absolutely loved it. The people are very friendly, the food is amazing, the prices are amazing, and the portions are amazing. I got the seekh kabab roll, qeema naan, and a pint of kheer only for 16. Restaurant is a little worn down, but the service and food make up for it. Also try the chicken achaari and chicken biryani.“

I have visited this restaurant thrice and all the three times the service, staff and food were excellent. I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you want to try out the besttt food and cocktails and have a pleasant time.“
“Great Indo-Chinese place with taste/spices for everyone. Will definitely come back. Came here on a Sunday afternoon and there was a quaint amount of seating with a nice interior. Service was speedy, liked that they kept a bottle of water and the table and yet were still attentive to water. They also gauged our spice tolerance (chose mild) and gave chili/spice on the side just in case to taste. Had several dishes to share: Appetizers: Califlower Manchurian, solid crispy on outside and of course tender but not mooshy as it can get Dishes: Hakka Noodles, a highlight! Great taste with the freshness/crisp veggies and firm but not too firm noodles. Lamb Vindaloo, delicious good amount of spice and lamb was at a good level of tenderness Goat Rogan Josh, similar to the above gindamoo really enjoyed the taste and meat texture. Shai Paneer, excellent with a good mixture of tang and spice with an enjoyable amount of creaminess Bread Basket, with regular, garlic, and onion. Onion was a favorite! Will definitely come back!“
“Thanks to a suggestion by a server, I have a new found love for lamb chops and dal halwa. The lamb chops were soft and very moist. All meals tried at this restaurant were amazing. But I return for the lamp chops and now the dessert, dal halwa. This dessert reminds me of a childhood treat which I haven’t been able to place as yet.“
“This local Indian gem has been a consistent hit for me and my family for years !! Food is amazing and never disappoints! Literally everything is made from scratch you can tell and I've been to plenty of Indian restaurants and I'm telling you this is some of the best and when it comes to service 5 star! I can't say enough about this place must try! The sit down portion of the place is rather small I have dined in but I do mostly takeout.“
