I recently moved from New York City to Valley Cottage in Rockland County and have been searching for a real NYC-style pizza place. After trying a few spots nearby, I finally found Village Pizza in Nyack — and it’s exactly what I was hoping for!

Tony is super friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere makes you feel right at home. The service is quick, the staff is great, and the pizza is absolutely delicious — thin crust, perfectly cooked, and tastes just like classic New York City pizza. They even have an extra-large 18-inch pie, which is a huge plus.

They also offer delivery, which is super convenient. If you’re craving genuine NYC-style pizza in Rockland County, Village Pizza is the real deal! 🍕“

“We stopped here while traveling from RI to PA and WOW are we glad we did. We needed a place to accommodate our small pup so we stopped to ask if they had outdoor seating. They didn’t but they created it by carrying a table and chairs outside for us - talk about customer service! Nick was such a fantastic host - setting us up, providing exceptional service and great conversation! I also can’t forget to mention how incredible the pizza and chicken roll were! “Martio's is my go-to pizza spot. Whenever we have family visiting, it’s a must-stop so they can experience some truly fantastic pizza. The dough is perfect, with just the right amount of crust. The sauce hits all the right notes, and the pizza is loaded with cheesy goodness. If I had to choose between Martio's and any other pizza in the world, I’d choose Martio's without hesitation.

“Tonight I dine like a king! Thanks to the good people over at Casaletto Pizza. I had placed an order online for pick up before 9pm. Unfortunately this evening, so much happened (car accident on the route I took for pick up. Then I caught a flat less than 2 miles away) 😂😩. hungry and feeling defeated I decided to call the restaurant to plead my case. Luckily the gentleman on the phone advised me “food is here waiting on you” and that he will stay until I arrive “no worries”. 9:15 I finally arrived. “Yes” I thought to myself as I climbed out my work truck excited to finally get my food. The gentleman greeted me with a smile and said “your orders right here waiting, and here, try one of these cookies.” What a gesture. This was my first time at this establishment, and it won’t be my last. Food and atmosphere are excellent! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for the same experience.“

“First met Danny & his family at their restaurant in Upper Nyack, Casa del Mare. It was our hometown favorite & sad when they closed. THEN we found him here, in Irvington! No place better for pizza, garlic knots & many other favorites. They treat you like family & are always happy to see their Rockland families. It’s worth the trip over the TZ Bridge!! Go & see for yourself! 5 stars for sure!!“

The food was delicious (all three courses), the wait staff was prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable, and the ambiance offered a perfect mix of warmth and elegance. “I’ve loved Slices for years now. Typically go with the chicken parm sub - always enough for two meals! Tonight I tried the new PINWHEELS - I think this is a new invention of Isaac’s. Basically it’s a pizza dough roll with cheese and a pizza topping - I had one spinach pinwheel and one pepperoni. And each pinwheel comes with a generous side car of tomato sauce. The bottom of the pinwheel is really crispy - somewhat akin to a deep dish pizza. Hard to describe! Highly recommend. Chef’s kiss!“

“Randomly saw this truck parked on the side of the road and figured I’d stop by and give it a try. I really wasn’t expecting much considering it’s literally a truck on the side of the road randomly in the industrial part of Yonkers but I was absolutely blown away. I picked up a pizza on the way back to my job and when I opened it all of my coworkers were taken by how delicious it smelled. It tasted even better if that’s possible.The pizza is better than most of the pizza places around and crazy fair priced for the gourmet food quality. I’m really so shocked at how good this pizza is! It just doesn’t seem possible for pizza to be that good! Do not sleep on this pizza truck. If you see it, pull over and get yourself a pizza! 🍕🍕🍕🍕“

“I've been coming here for about 20 years and came back here recently for a visit.
I think the crust of the pizza used to be better. With toppings, the pizza becomes soggy very easily and the crust is less crispy than I remember.
It's best if you order plain cheese or white pizza, so the base doesn't become soggy and the crust remains crispy.“
