“OMG Tasty House serves some of the best food I've ever tried, I've never had Vietnamese before, I'm such a fan now. The seating area is small and quaint, but the atmosphere is welcoming. Manna our hostess was friendly and helpful. She answered every question and explained the menu items and specials. I had Pho Special and my wife the Curry Chicken, we also tried the scallion pancakes and delicious mango milk tea. Everything was delicious! We'll definitely be returning soon. Thank you so much!!“

“Lovely experience. Girl and I are big time bahn mi people. We usually drive to queens or just miss this type of food. We’re not to far away but we seldom get out. We’re both in the food industry and Monday and Tuesday we go out for errands and what not. We popped in. Warm greeting. She got a summer roll. I got veggie spring rolls and we each got a bahn mi. Delicious. Great bread. She got the short rib I got the pulled chicken. Probably go for pork belly next time. I wish there was little extra schmear of pate but they probably play it safe for common people. Iced coffee was fire“

“My son and I were undecided on what we wanted for dinner and came to this restaurant at 8:30pm. The restaurant is inviting with a bar and very clean. The server kindly took our take out order. We ordered Bun Bo Hue, Grilled chicken breast with rice, Century Basil Chicken. The wait was not long. The food was fresh, the chicken was tender, salad was flavorful with pickled cabbage, tomatoes and cucumbers. Delicious. We will go back at an earlier time to sit and enjoy the food and atmosphere.“

The pho was absolutely delicious and honestly reminded me of what I’d get back in California. The broth had great flavor, and they give you a generous amount of meat, which I loved.

“I’ve never seen a pho place offer catfish (much less any other fish) to go with their pho. The vegetarian option is also a plus so it’s a pescatarian’s dream. Also, this place is legit Vietnamese unlike many pho places that are. Chinese owned.“

We had a taste test of the coffee, CAFE DU MONTE from New Orleans with chicory which we learned that many Vietnamese migrated to New Orleans in the 70’s and found this coffee beverage to be closest to their homeland coffee in bold but smooth taste. NOTE: restaurant is relocating in early 2026 so be on lookout for new location. PS My husband had the Pho Rib Noodle soup. I call it the Pho Flinstone Beefer Upper soup. He used one word “Yanba-Danna-Doo!” We also recommend the corner French-Asian bakery on the corner.“
