“I came here twice and I must say that the curry goat and fried chicken is the best. I order a medium curry goat with white rice and a side of fried chicken. 10/10. But for $26?! The issue is that you can’t really get what you want. Hear me out for example… you can’t get a small order of oxtail….like?! You can only get a medium size with a side. It’s overpriced. Just by looking at it I can tell it’s not even worth the price. Also if you get like a medium size meal with any meat and rice you can’t get it with plantain. It’s extra charge. BUT I WILL SAY THAT THE PORTION IS WORTH IT. THEY GIVE MORE. I’ve tried the Mac and cheese and it was baaaadd. Just cheese and unseasoned roux. That’s if they use roux. It’s oily and you can’t even see or smell a spec of seasoning. Taste like a sweet treat no shade. The fried chicken though I give that 15/10. Tastes better than Kennedys. The goat meat falls off the bonnnneeee. The rice is perfect; not too mushy and not too rough. I’m on my way there right now😂😂. Is it worth trying? Hell yeah. The Mac and cheese though.. that’s to your advantage.“

“I visited this place twice and enjoyed the food on both occasions. On my first visit, I had the rice and peas and jerk chicken, which was solid. On my second visit, I tried the rice and peas and kingfish, which was also good. However, the price of the kingfish seemed a bit high for the portion size.
Macaroni looks appealing, but it wasn’t very good. I wouldn’t recommend it.
Dumplings are good.
I will be back when in the area. I want to try their breakfast menu.“

“Usually I don’t trust high ratings with only a few stars but I tried today while waiting on some work to get done and definitely left full and satisfied. Can definitely recommend their stew and fried chicken. Will be returning when next I’m in the area.“

“Had JerkQ’zine cater the cocktail hour of my wedding this past weekend on 10.10.2020. I ordered many small bites including cocktail patties, assorted surprise dumpling bites, and fritters. I did not get to sample the bites as they were all thoroughly enjoyed by my guests! Contact information was also provided to many who asked. Thank you Jerk Q’zine for making my day successful! #jerkq’zine“
“When I say these folks are genuinely kind-hearted, I mean it—it's a rare find to encounter a Caribbean restaurant where the staff radiates happiness instead of serving up an attitude. The prices here are quite reasonable, making it easy on the wallet. The portions are generous and satisfying, truly making every bite worthwhile. Everything is freshly prepared right before your eyes; I visited late at night and was pleasantly surprised to see the food still bursting with flavor and freshness. I wholeheartedly recommend this charming little shop; it's an intimate space that feels welcoming. All you have to do is stop by and experience it for yourself—trust me, it’s absolutely worth it!“

“Current chef is on point, recommend trying now but who knows what the food will be if the chef goes, just like any other Jamaican restaurant the guy in the back is the real test of whether or not the food is good, this one knows what he's doing and the lady's serving the food ain't too bad, the little attitude they give to everyone is their way of letting you the food is good“
“The taste of the breakfast: porridge, ackee n saltfish is superb: 5 stars. The portions are amazing. The service is okay, but they run out of breakfast quickly. The atmosphere doesn't look very inviting. It says: come in, get your food and get out. The place is dim and could use a face lift. I notice a lot of caribbean restaurants around here are kinda dim.Recommend visiting on the early side if you want don't want to leave empty handed.“

“Very good food, drinks (descent) and atmosphere. The owners are friendly and will accommodate you as much as possible. I remember my very first time going there it was my 2018 2nd Masters Graduation celebration. The owner surprised me with a nice setting with tables and covered chairs, great lighting and the aviance was breathtaking. My guest, family and I thought it was quite impressive. The prices are reasonable as well.“
“The curry chicken and macaroni and cheese was the best I ever bought from a Jamaican restaurant. The food tastes so fresh. I didn't get kanisha telephone number but I will be back. Too bad I live in the Bronx. She gave excellent customer service“

“Its rare to go to a jamaican restaurant and they have a full comprehensive menu with all items available 7 days a week. In most places they only serve certain items on certain days. Everything is available everyday here. And the taste is top notch. From now on, I will come here everytime I'm in NYC.“
“simply, just for the fact that you can order the famous Di Fara pizza from Brooklyn at this location, makes this certainly one of the best hidden gems in the neighborhood.
They also offer lots of different dishes from several different restaurants, making this a very interesting place to go for a meal as different. People can order different dishes from different restaurants.“

“We drove from Brooklyn to try their curry goat with white rice and coleslaw. Amazing. The curry goat was tender and cut into manageable pieces. It was well seasoned, blending curry with all spice. What is in that coleslaw? It has a light delicate vinegar flavor with the right amount of crunch. Beautiful mix of flavors.“

“I love and support Cravin resturant because its authentic and I myself am Jamaican. However the service is slow and the ladies ringing people up are young and dont seem to want to work there. There was 2 people in the whole place when I went and waited nearly 10 minutes to just ask if they had something and waited again as one girl bagged and the other chatted. In all I left without getting food because I refused to wait any longer just to order... This is an in and out City and the service should match. I will still go to this place...but i will order ahead and hopefully my experience will be different“
