“Got delivery from here that included a few different items, everything was authentic tasting except for the "Jerk" Wings... they were really more like sweet and sour sauced wings, minus any authentic jerk seasoning. I haven't tried their jerk chicken, but I hope that the chicken is actually jerk spiced and grilled and not whatever jarred sauce they put on the wings!“

“I get so excited every time we get a chance to visit Oracabessa. This is my favorite go to spot for delicious, authentic, home style Jamaican food, that always hits the spot. Regardless the time of day, Breakfast, lunch, or dinner, they gotcha! The food tastes like someone has poured love and magic into every bite and the portion sizes are Nice! While I have my faves, I totally recommend you try everything and see for yourself.

“I first called to make sure that the restaurant was opened and a lovely young lady answered and I found her to be very knowledgeable about the food being served and various items on the menu and she kindly provided me with the address, upon arrival I was greeted by a women behind the counter however she was on the phone with a customer placing an order and she acknowledged me while on the phone I patiently waited and once she finished she apologized and kindly took my order, I just knew by the atmosphere and the awesome customer service, that the food was going to not disappoint, my order consisted of the Rasta Pasta DELICIOUS ?? I also got the Oxtail and Mac & cheese the oxtail’s where Succulent and the portions where sizable and generous I’m happy to say should you be in the Ossining area or by way of White Plains Newyork you will not be disappointed the food is DELICIOUS and customer service friendly and welcoming I’ll be back to try various dishes by way of Jamaica ?? ??????“

“I like the food here. It’s good quality and quantity for price. Lots of space to pull up unlike other busy roadways in the Bronx.

The staff could improve by looking happier and there’s no way to sit and eat, but it’s a win for me overall!!!“

The space was easy to maneuver around in, I was very pleased with the accommodations of the owner and the staff was very helpful. “I can still and will always remember November 13th. This was one of the most important day of my life my wedding day. I went to the restaurant to speak with Mr. McKnight of this my special day about 2 weeks f before the due date, this is so because the first time I ate his meal I felt as I was floating on dry land the food was off the chain. From then I told him that whenever I am getting married he have to do the catering for me. He was excited and happy for me. All he said was write what I wanted on the menu and he would do the rest. Wow wow wow what can I say the food was one in a million. The guests enjoy ever bit of what was provided and wanted to know more about his business. “The food was delicious. I used to go all the time (2021) and get fried chicken, but they didn't have it. So I got curry chicken and... IT TASTED LIKE CRACK (super delicious). There was only 1 worker and she was nice (my dad knows people there) and it's was kinda dark but the atmosphere was okay overall.“

“This is not a sit-down restaurant. There's maybe 4 stools to sit on if you wish to eat there and that's it. This is the Caribbean restaurant I frequent most in this area. I haven't had any plates that disappointed so far. Fried chicken, brown stew chicken, oxtail, callaloo and salt fish... all great. They cook with a good amount of pepper. I have a low tolerance for hot food but i do well here. Just don't come here expecting patties; they don't do that here.“
