“We visited Thursday night to check out the trivia night that we heard so much about. We were promptly seated by Amy who suggested a certain spot to hear the questions from. We ordered some apps and some drinks. I stopped a fellow and asked if he was Dave, the owner. He said he was and chatted a bit. The food arrived and let me tell you the pretzel with beer cheese or whatever it is called screamed for a second order. Trivia was fun although I'd like to see a few less phones out. Although there was a younger crowd,we were very comfortable.“

“A family member ordered delivery for us from here. We can't wait to visit in person. \nComfort Burger was awesome as were the chili cheese fries . Order included a Lucy salad with grill chicken. Greens were fresh, as were the sliced apples. We also had what has to be the best grilled cheese sandwich i have ever had. Loaded with a blend of 4 cheeses and caramelized onions. Bread was grilled to perfection. The order also included a fried chicken sandwich which had a huge fried chicken breast. Finally, the side order of chili didn't look that great but tasted fantastic\n I would also like to add that according to Google AI they offer gluten free bread and most items can be made gluten free.“

“Best Burgers in town. This is the First time I didn't put ketchup on fries in my life because they needing nothing and they were not loaded with salt. I shared 1 each large onion rings and fries and we could not finish them all. Burgers were on point. Medium rare, pink in the middle, and the cheese was fully melted. In between customers everyone was constantly straightening up and keeping the place neat and clean. There is no reason to go any place else.“

From the moment we walked in, the staff was extremely friendly, everything was exceptionally clean, and service was absolutely outstanding. Ronnie was extremely attentive, sparked up lots of conversation with everyone, gave recommendations, and really took the time to include the kids (menu options, brought plain butter for their bread, etc). The food was outstanding, drinks were delicious and kept full, and we all left very very satisfied. For a majority of the party, it was our first time dining at Jacob and Anthony's, and there is no doubt that we will all dine there again.

“I have read past reviews about horrible service and do not agree. The service is a little on the slow side however you are there for an entire afternoon so it was never a problem. Also our hostess, waitress and all the support help were all delightful and a pleasure to converse and joke with. I have also seen complaints about pricing. Well you are at the track and it is expensive. There are picnic areas out back with free tables that you can bring your own food and beverages and not many sporting or entertainment venues allow that. Also a $20 cheese platter had plenty on it and the Barrata salad was delicious. I was not impressed with the chicken tenders and fries but she enjoyed them. Beers and drinks were a little pricey but no more than you would pay at a pro sporting event or concert and the drinks were made well. You throw in the atmosphere of being at the greatest horse racing track in the world and it makes for a very pleasurable afternoon. Saratoga Race Track has one of the most professional and courteous staff I have experienced. I would recommend The Porch to anyone. It is worth a few extra bucks for the exciting atmosphere and view and I already mentioned the wonderful staff.“

The pancakes are the same generic pancakes that you get at most diners, the home fries are very good, well cooked but they could use maybe a bit more to season them. They use real bacon and not the paper thin bacon most places have. The coffee is good and overall I enjoyed this diner for my first time there.“

“We were there on June 4th Unbeknownst to us it was the start of Belmont week in Saratoga. The city was mobbed with people great to see. But not great on walk in dining. We were told it would be an hour wait because of all the reservations they had. This was not part of our plan of course. We then spotted an outdoor table in the shade. We grabbed it and the rest is history. We were greeted by Eli our server who by the way is incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to craft beer. He managed to recommend beers for all three of us that were delicious. Outstanding job Eli. We shared a spicy little pizza and a charcuterie board and both were awesome. What a great experience from start to finish. great beer and food spells a good time and we will be back for more in the future“
