“Was looking for a place to grab dinner and found this place online so decided to give it a try, and this place did not disappoint. Located in an area that makes it easy to miss if you’re not looking for it, Enbu was a nice surprise to stumble upon. The first thing I noticed were the bright colors and very nice water feature, which were nice touches to the decor of the restaurant. We split a pineapple cocktail that we enjoyed, it was sweet but just strong enough to do the trick. For an appetizer, we split what I found to be my favorite food there, the pork gyoza. They were absolutely delicious, and might be my favorite gyoza/dumpling I’ve ever had. The ginger they used for my salad was a tad bit strong for my liking, but I still also enjoyed it. For our entrees, we had the hibachi steak and mixed vegetables and the salmon teriyaki and broccoli, both of which were served with rice. We would both say they were good, but arguably nothing you wouldn’t find from another Asian restaurant. In the end, for the price of everything I’d say it was still very worth the visit and would recommend to someone else looking for similar food in the area. Perhaps we’ll be back to try out some stuff off the sushi menu in the future“

“Completely surprised and intrigued with the menu. This is NOT a Mexican food restaurant as the name might fool you. The shrimp taco wrapped in seaweed paper was so fresh tasting,crunchy and absolutely delish. Fried rice served in your own skillet and you mix the egg in was the best! The smores waffle with homemade custard ice-cream was to die for. Bartender Robbie is a pro mixologist with really new style drinks. This place was a treat and I cant wait to go back. “As a longtime vegan and someone who absolutely loves Thai food, I can honestly say this is one of the best Thai restaurants I’ve ever been to—not just in East Harlem, but anywhere in New York City.

Every dish I’ve had here has been outstanding. The vegetables are always incredibly fresh, the flavors are vibrant and authentic, and it’s clear that a lot of care goes into every plate that leaves the kitchen. Finding a restaurant that consistently delivers this level of quality is rare, and Chu Ros Thai does it every single time.

The staff is warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind, which makes the entire experience even better. You never feel rushed, and they always make you feel like they’re happy you’re there.

And if you’re vegan, do yourself a favor and order the Thai iced tea made with coconut milk. It’s one of my favorite drinks in the entire city and the perfect complement to an already amazing meal.

I’ve eaten Thai food all over New York, and Chu Ros Thai has earned a permanent spot at the top of my list. I come here whenever I can, and whenever someone asks me where they should eat in East Harlem, this is the first place I recommend.

“Everything was delicious. I had shrimp toast and a dinner combo: sesame chicken with fried rice, an egg roll, and soup. They made my sesame chicken spicy for me which I appreciated. The portions were generous and the waiter was attentive to all my requests. I would come again.“

“This restaurant is absolutely phenomenal. Every bite was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared.

I ordered the spicy tuna poke bowl and was able to build it exactly the way I wanted. The tuna was incredibly fresh and perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of spice. Combined with creamy avocado, crisp cucumber, sweet corn, juicy tomatoes, peppery arugula, and crunchy walnuts, the bowl was bursting with flavor and had the perfect balance of textures.

The shrimp dumplings were equally impressive. They were golden and crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and packed with delicious shrimp filling. They were so good that I could have ordered another batch.

What stood out most was the quality and freshness of the ingredients. You can taste the care that goes into every dish.

If you love fresh, vibrant, and seriously delicious food, this place is a must. I will absolutely be coming back, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an amazing meal.“

“Had a great experience with Miso Teriyaki in Tenafly. This place really stands out as a Korean–Japanese fusion spot with a clean, casual fast-casual feel and a menu that blends familiar comfort dishes from both cuisines.

You get a nice mix of flavors—from teriyaki-style dishes to Korean-inspired items—making it an easy go-to whether you’re grabbing lunch or dinner. Portions are solid and everything comes out quickly without feeling rushed in quality.

The atmosphere is simple and straightforward, focused more on good food and efficiency than anything overly fancy, which fits the concept perfectly.

The owner was a pleasure to communicate to, and every time I’ve swung by I’ve had a great experience—never once a bad visit.

“Usually I do delivery or take out but decided to order by going inside today. The cashiers Jordan and Julian (sorry, not sure of correct spelling) were so kind to me. They complimented my tattoos and Jordan was so attentive to my order. When I asked for the receipt for my scrapbook, they made me feel so happy. We even had a cool conversation about our scrapbooking hobby. Julian even offered a sticker. They looked so cool and had even cooler vibes. Thank you both so much for making my day“

“The restaurant was quiet and unassuming and the waitress was on some kind of silent mode, but the food was properly cooked and served. The salmon lunch box was pretty good, although the salmon was a little bit sapid. the sushi rolls were fine too.“

I have been searching for the last few years all around the bergen county area for the best chicken teriyaki and I have found it here. This is my absolute favorite! Saw the reviews online and took a chance because so far the Asian restaurants I’ve been to do not make DELICIOUS sesame chicken. This place did not let me down. The sesame chicken was so delicious! I was so happy! This is, now, my go to place for sesame chicken. I didn’t like the dumplings. They were very doughy and chewy. No good. Next time I’ll order the Gyoza. Maybe that’s not doughy. I’ll try the fried rice too and see how that goes. But for sure I’ll be coming back!“
