“Su was amazing! I traveled up from the East Bronx for the best Chinese take out I’ve ever had. My Uncle referred me here and I can’t imagine eating from anywhere else now. I was made to feel so special just for making such a huge order and trip but it was worth it!“

“Me and the fellas from Cruz Control Auto Body, right around the corner on 49 Fullerton Ave, came here for lunch and we were seriously impressed. The lady taking our order was super friendly, patient, and made sure everything came out just right.
The food came out super fast and was fresh, hot, and full of flavor. I had the chicken and broccoli with garlic sauce and some crispy sesame chicken, and both were spot on perfectly cooked and packed with that authentic taste you want from a good Chinese spot.
The whole experience was smooth from start to finish great portions, top-notch service, and a relaxed vibe that makes it an easy go-to lunch spot. Definitely one of our new favorites! 🍜🔥“

“I recently tried out this Chinese restaurant and was pleasantly surprised! Their Singapore Mei Fun was absolutely delicious and bursting with flavor—you can really taste the cumin and other spices — the spice from the noodles even cleared my sinuses without being overpowering. The pork fried rice was also great, with a nice balance of flavor and none of the greasy aftertaste you sometimes get from other places. Best of all, the prices are very reasonable. Definitely a place I’ll be ordering from again!“

“Amazing!!
So glad I found this place.
I was craving Chinese food and was in the area. I found this place because they had great reviews on Uber eats.
I'm glad I ordered from here.
I ordered chicken and broccoli, a spring roll and a sprite.
The food was hot and fresh. And my soda was cold and refreshing.
I'd definitely order from here again!“

“Very nice people, they are friendly and the food was good. I ordered for delivery and it came fast but that will depend on if the restaurant is busy or not! There are a couple flies but thats because they leave the door open and i dont mind it because some restaurants leave the door closed and it gets hot and humid when they cook. I enjoy this place and i will be coming back“

My Husband and I ordered the Kani Salad , Fried Chicken Dumplings, Steamed Pork Dumplings, Wonton Soup, Veg Fried Rice & Chicken and Broccoli with Vanilla & Green Tea Ice cream for dessert. Everything was AMAZING we would absolutely make this place our regular spot. Everything was fresh and we left excited to come back to try more dishes !“

“best spot, clean and great food,“
“Actually amazing. I'm a chef down in the city at a Michelin place, and this was the best Chinese takeout I've had in awhile.I peeped their ingredients and everything was fresh. Bright green veggies, even the scallions that the cooks garnished on the plates. The meat didn't have the typical freezer burn taste.Even the rice was plump as if expertly cooked in a fancy overpriced Manhattan place. The service... The solo cook was handling everything but took the time to even clear a table for my group among the boxes of supplies and hand delivered all the food. Even asked if everything was ok.When I asked for hot sauce, he gave me the legit chili sauce you find in Chinese supermarkets. This is the type of place that is a regional hidden gem. I'll be submitting this place to the times and nymag, as I would def come back again if in the area.“

“This place is one of the LAST still using their own delivery service, which no matter how you slice it, is cheaper than Door Dash, Uber, Seamless. I hope they stay that way. The food was decent, still better than Micky-Dee in my opinion. The delivery took as long or as short as they said it would. no surprises.“
“Braised pork on rice had very small slices of pork belly. A layer of sauce on BOTH the top and bottom of the rice, which was smart. The garnishes of steamed broccoli and half egg (cold) were uninspiring. Pretty bowl, but the amount of food was not worth $9.95.“

“I have been getting Chinese food from here since 1994 when I was in 9th grade going to school at Roosevelt Highschool and going here for lunch. I've seen at least two different owners of this place in my time living in the area. I've moved and have lived in different states since, and now have moved back to NY and live close to the area again, I am so happy that this place is still here. Brings back good memories, and good Chinese food and all the fun crazy times I had at Roosevelt Highschool. This place is strictly take out, though they do have some tables if you want to eat there. But don't expect it to be 5 star dining. Fast, good and affordable Chinese fast food. If you're expecting more, then expect to be disappointed. As for me, no complaints. I'm glad this place, Dunkin Donuts and Carlos is still in the area after all these years, 😄.“

“My family has been ordering here for years, I have tried other spots, but we stay at this place because the quality is always the same.
We usually order the broccoli (with the sauce), pork fried rice, egg rolls, and boneless spare ribs.
Even after years, it still tastes the same. And my dad never changed his opinion and I agree lol“

“Been going here since I was a teenager. Love! They always get my order right, and treat me with care.
Vegetarian options: I’m autistic, so I always order broccoli and garlic sauce with plain fried rice (and sometimes plain lo mein (can’t speak to other dishes).
This is the ONLY place in Yonkers I trust with broccoli. It’s always crunchy/fresh, and FULL of sauce. And they always give you a big serving <3
Dietary restrictions: I’m vegetarian, and they have a decent amount of vegetarian options!“

“I live probably 20 minute away and I have closer Chinese spots near me but I will only still go to this spot. The food is legit 11/10, amazing portions and they are not stingy with giving extra sauces like other Chinese spots. Staff is super friendly and my family and I will always prefer this spot over any other.“

“The food was good but lately the food is Amazingly delicious! I reside in a senior building where I made sure I spread the word that was almost 2 years ago! I now have a hard time choosing what I’m going to order lol!
Keep up the great job and fast delivery I hope to one day come in the restaurant.“
“En Lai is your typical small Chinese fast food restaurant that does not have seating to eat in. They excel at some dishes while others are okay. Love their beef/chicken with broccoli. Their barbecue spare ribs could be more meaty, tender and sauced so I go with the boneless ribs instead. They are very busy during meal times with a steady rush of customers. It's best to plan and call ahead for delivery or takeout during peak dinner and lunch times. They have the standard two woks for cooking main dishes and one wok for frying rice. They can be heavy handed or inconsistent with seasoning some dishes but you can ask them to adjust for low sodium or less seasoning. The place looks run down but their food is good and seems to be prepared in a sanitary way.“

“It can be challenging to find a General Tso’s chicken dish that prioritizes quality chicken, but this place exceeds expectations. I’ve visited twice, and each time, the General Tso’s chicken has been outstanding—perfectly cooked and flavorful. The dish pairs wonderfully with the pork fried rice, which is fresh and well-prepared. Additionally, the lo mein is exceptional, offering a rich, savory taste. This spot is highly recommended for anyone seeking delicious, high-quality Chinese cuisine. A must-try!“
