“the former rooneys is now the pub and the interior decor is basically the same but due to covid 19 the hours are cut a bit just like the menu which is limited but has enough choices to make a hungry person happy. the staff are mostly the same from before and service as always is very good. its wise to make a reservation and get a booth as each one has its own tv and pick the nfl game you want to see. the giant pretzel is very good, personal pizza is ok, soup is good , the baked chicken with potatoes is my fave but i must admit burgers and turkey sandwich aint bad either. its a shame what covid 19 has done to our country and seeing a semi empty pub on nfl sunday really stinks. p.s. please tip super good the staff work really hard .“

“A very friendly place to go for your pub food. The beers are rotated often and they run extremely good specials. I genuinely enjoyed my overall experiences but the food is only solid. The menu is smallish but it covers enough options so a large group could find happy choices. I have eaten there four times and I have sampled most of the menu via my meals and sneaking a taste from others in my party. For me the downside to the food is the lack of the little details that takes a meal from "serviceably enjoyable" to genuinely tasty. Examples: Onions were not caramelized when requested. Cheesesteaks do not make it to both ends of the bread. When crispy fries were asked for they have not been delivered half the time. Little things. But they do make a difference. Luckily, they can be easily fixed. Regardless, it has a relaxed atmosphere and it serves great beer without pretentiousness.“

The bartender was attentive like he always is, I don't remember his name but he's the only one behind the on weekdays usually. It was lively & he told me about karaoke coming up. “I had a delicious meal here. The Brussels sprouts app was so good. We sat at the bar and saw the pizza oven in action. They all looked delish. We had the fig prosciutto was to die for. The fish and chips were so crispy. Some of the best I've ever had.“
“There is this one white girl who works there that is super rude! she only started being rude to me after seeing me with the guy i was with. Originally she was our waiter and then she ask's one of her coworkers to take our table. I ordered the shrimp penne pasta & the shrimp was so sour and BAD i could smell it when the food was brought to me. They did allow me to get something else off th menu for the same or less of value but that shouldn't have been served to begin with i know they could smell that while cooking it. The drinks at Whiskey are always amazing and that was the first and only time i had a problem with the food.“
“It was my first time going to The Fox to watch the basketball games during March Madness. It had almost everything I was looking for in a sports bar except the sound. They were playing music. . . which is fine for a regular day. However, sports reporters and analysts call the first 4 days of March Madness "The Greatest Days in Sports - in any sport" Every Year! I agree - - - Therefore, I don't want to hear music - I want to hear the game. Otherwise - the food and bar atmosphere was awesome.“

I should stop listening to google but I can’t help it. this little voice in my head saying “be an individual, be an individual,” yet i turn my head and say no imma look it up on google this pocked sized friend inside of my phone. how convenient. “March 11, 2024, was my first time ever going to Yonkers Brewing Co. My server, Joseph, was very nice and accommodating from the time I placed my order to the time I left the establishment. I ordered a simple burger and fries. Everything was cooked the way I wanted it, and the fries were some of the best I had in a very long time. I want to try more items from their menu, so I will definitely be coming back.“
