The restaurant gives off a charming yet cozy feel, with moody dim lighting and a big crackling fireplace in the center of the dining room that makes you feel at home🤎 we also had the most incredible and accommodating server, shoutout to Jay who hand wrote his favorite Columbus foodie recommendations out for us since we’re new to the area!!! NOW ONTO DINNER: the iron skillet cheddar biscuits are an absolute must!! Served warm and brushed with salted better, they’re just delicious👌🏽followed by the grilled artichokes served with an excellent creamy remoulade!! We also ordered the Hollywood Salad and the Barbequte pork ribs- the meat was fall of the bone tender and the coleslaw + fries complemented the dish perfectly!! “There’s a reason the Press Grill has been around forever - good, reasonably priced food on a menu that has barely changed in decades. That’s a good thing - the sandwiches, Mac and cheese, cottage fries, etc. need no improvement. There are daily specials if you’re looking for something different, but most regulars have their thing. Accessibility is an issue at this original location - it’s an old building, so the door is narrow and the tables close together and all high top except a single low top in the back. The Grandview location is easier for large groups or those with mobility challenges, but if those are not barriers for you, you can’t go wrong with the original.“

“Northstar Cafe in Columbus was a great find. The cookie alone was worth the stop. Fresh, soft, and full of flavour. The sandwiches and shakes were just as impressive and everything tasted like it was made with real quality ingredients.

This is an order at the counter and serve yourself style cafe, so there is no table service, but the setup works well for the vibe of the place. The food comes out quickly, the space is clean, and the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming.

Sat at the bar which was surprisingly full at 8:30PM on a Thursday night and was instantly greeted by one of the bartenders. To make a long story short, my martini was ice cold and my husbands margaritas were perfect. The food was delicious and portions were generous. I haven’t been to the J. Alexander’s in Worthington in a few years, and wow — they reminded me exactly why this place used to be one of my favorites.

The ribs were fall-off-the-bone perfect. The meatballs were packed with flavor. The mac & cheese was creamy, rich, and downright comforting. But the real surprise of the night?

Easily the best appetizer on the menu — flaky, crispy, flavorful, and flat-out addictive. One bite and I knew I’d been gone from this location way too long.

Their posted hours show open till 2:30 pm, we arrived at 1:50 (plenty of time for some pancakes and coffee.) The weight staff was in full on cleanup mode and made it Very obvious they were done working for the day with the way we were greeted. I ordered decaf coffee and was told there was none left so decided to have regular and then didn't even get a full cup of that. At $4.99 a pop I need a full cup. I looked at my friend and said "they don't want to wait on us they are annoyed that they are already cleaning up and we came in" she agreed so when the server came back I politely said "we will just elsewhere we can tell you're cleaning up for the day" There was no "oh you are fine, you still have 40 minutes" or anything like that there just " are you sure?" We left and headed down the street to Delaney's Diner who would also be closing in about an hour at 3 PM but a TOTALLY different vibe. Greeted with a smile from the person at the hostess stand and 2 of the chefs even looked over and smiled and said welcome come on in! We looked at each other and said much better, we are definitely in the right place now. I've heard nothing but good things about the pancakes at the Pancake House I only wish I would have got to experience them But being treated well is more important to me than food. I understand wanting to be done work for the day believe me but it wasn't like we walked in with 3 minutes till closing. Oh well 🤷‍♀️“

“Everything was excellent! Our server was attentive and checked on us multiple times. I had the press burger, onion rings, and a cup of potato soup. The burger and onion rings were amazing! The soup was thinner than I expected, but the flavor was very good. I very much look forward to going again to try other menu options!“

I've dined in this place before, ate bison burgers but this time I opted for their bison filet steak, and it was delicious. The whole meal was. Facilities are clean, now with soap dispensers placed around for your convenience. I hadn't been to this area since Covid hit and that has changed everything but I'm happy this restaurant is still in business. I came to eat there because I wanted to eat a fine meal before seeing the German band Kraftwerk that evening. The waitress was very quick in serving the food and very friendly. Sure, the dinners may be more expensive and there's not many restaurants in the Nationwide Arena area now, but why not go for something unique and special to add to your fun day? I have eaten here before and after attending events such as hockey games, Phil Collins, Bruce Springsteen, RUSH, (Jeff Lynne's) ELO, Adam Ant, Noel Gallagher and more throughout the Arena District. I'm glad this place is still around after all that's occurred during the past few years, and I highly recommend it to anyone who attends any event in the Arena District. It's as good as it ever was, maybe better. Food, service, atmosphere, cleanliness - ***** out of five. I will certainly eat at this place again, just as I have at previous times. Kudos! 😋🙂😇“

“I just had dinner at Easton location, today is 12th of December 2025. Lauren took care of me at the bar. I want to compliment how professional and pleasant she is! It truly adds to the experience, I enjoyed my meal a little bit more than usual just because of her warm and friendly energy! Love Lauren! ❤️ And the management's been friendly and very helpful (the gentleman wearing a buttoned down shirt, I'm guessing it's the manager. My burger was a little bit undercooked, but they fixed it for me no problem!🙂)

“When you see a place with a small menu, you know you can pick anything and be satisfied. In this case I had the Thai Burrito and was thoroughly pleased with juicy chicken, delicious veggies and rice, and a fantastic peanut sauce to boot.
The restaurant itself has a very particular vibe. It's both current and clean, yet it feels like a place from the 80s.“
