“My friends and I Love Vintage India! We always order so much food because it's all so good we can never just pick ONE thing. My FAVOURITE dish is the Malai Kafta, and the banghain bartha. I highly recommend the rasmalai, the samosas, the lassi.... there is not a single thing on this menu that will disappoint you. Authentic, Family-owned business in the heart of Lakewood. “We stopped by this restaurant based on high recommendation of having great food. It may have great food, but quality service is lacking. After being seated for nearly 20 minutes and not having a waiter stop by to even ask for our drinks, I decided to walk to the host. Our server had apparently forgotten about us. Prior to this, I saw and waved at the manager, who clearly saw me, but who, instead, ignored me. By dessert time, one of us ordered key lime pie and was incorrectly given cheesecake. This time, it took nearly 15 minutes to get the key lime pie. Although I have to say the food/dessert were delicious, we were very disappointed with the service. This place should have it, but it was not there.”

“We were there for a birthday celebration. Our server was excellent. We were extremely disappointed with the manager’s treatment when we addressed an issue with the bottle of wine. She was rude and condescending. We were 50 year old adults with a legitimate complaint, not people trying to get out of paying for something(we were getting more wine). Very very disappointing. Everyone else was wonderful and the food was fabulous. It’s a shame the manager does not know how to treat customers respectfully and appropriately.”

“I tried this place for the first time and EVERYTHING was amazing!!! The decor when you walk in. I came on a Thursday and they have karaoke night ! I thought that was cool and I didn’t know this initially. I came for the restaurant/rooftop. We went upstairs and they had a good playlist of songs , the food was amazing !!!! Absolutely delicious. I order the fire roasted shrimp as appetizer and it was so good when the veggies !! Although it said fire it wasn’t hot at all. It was Made just right . I ordered the chicken and waffles as my entree . Chicken was cooked perfect and the hot honey syrup was good as well . We also order the BBW wings and fries which were good too. I tried the green apple slushy mixed with the peach one and added my choice of liquor ! Delicious!!! Our sever Tone was great ! I will definitely be back. It’s a LBGTQ restaurant and they have drag brunch on Sundays ! I’ll be going to check it out . I’ve always wanted to go to one and now I do ??”

“My husband and I are weekly regulars at a lot of cocktail bars and restaurants in the Cle/Akron areas because while we don’t live near anything good, we will travel for good cocktails and vegan food, lol. Pins & Needles is one of our favorite places to go! The décor and atmosphere is so fun and really well done for the 70s-era vibes and the cocktails on the menu reflect the times with old-fashioned era-appropriate classics and fun spins on classics that range from light and fruity to rich and boozy and we have actually had some of our favorite cocktails ever here! The menu rotates seasonally, but there’s always something for everyone. (Get the Midnight Cowboy for sure though, it’s one of the best).

It’s great that we can order food from upstairs too because Mahall’s has amazing vegan options and a regularly rotating menu as well. We also love chatting with all the mixologists here - they’re all very welcoming and personable and since we come here a lot we’ve gotten to know a lot of them, so shout out to Carl, Rosie, Connor, Michael, Autumn, and Eric upstairs!

We don’t really go to this venue (Mahall’s & Roxy) for concerts and prefer the low-key and often quieter atmosphere of Pins and Needles, though we’ve also taken big groups there since it can accommodate a lot of people and the space is great for both types of outings. We’ve also brought a lot of people here for their first time and they’ve loved the drinks and food too.”

We saw the same people almost every time. The bartender is a nice guy. This place is right next to my old boyfriends apartment so we went down for late night drinks a lot and half the time it was closed at midnight. Despite its flaws, it was a nice place for me and my boyfriend to sip, talk and not spend a lot. We were always treated nicely by the bartender as well.”

“Loved getting pizza from Eat Me Pizzeria on Fourth of July. The person who is checked us out was so friendly and polite. They have the one of the best pizza’s. We got 3 pizza’s that were all exquisite in taste and a soon point in their flavor. We got their Trojan which is like a supreme, but the ones that stole my heart were the spicy pig with the chorizo, pineapple, smoked paprika aioli and red pickled onion. The absolute star of the show was their Danny Boy pizza with the Peach, manchego cheese, basil and balsamic drizzle and honey reduction. The place looks like a dreamland from inside. I’m already craving more of their delish pizza!

I loved to see they are still doing the same thing. Oh and the manager Heather is by far the nicest person ever!!! She was so polite and was able to help me find exactly what I wanted even though I couldn't remember the name for the life of me. But she sat there helping me the whole time. So nice!! So helpful!! So awesome!!! You can also tell the staff working under her really respect n love her. I don't normally post reviews and only will do it when it is absolutely deserved. When a worker goes way above and beyond to help. Cause nowadays customers service has gone out the window. That's why when someone is as Good as Heather is I want to make sure she atleast gets some acknowledgment for it. She made sure this still stays my favorite location and the only one I'll come to.”

“Ordered through a delivery service. Everything arrived warm, which is rare anymore. The pho is solid and it’s nice to have an option that doesn’t involve driving to the Asia town area. Basil fried rice was good, but not so much Basil. Portions were decent as well as pricing. Will try again.”
