“What can I say. I’m a foody so I’ll start by saying the portions are very generous for the price. Now if you’re a wing lover definitely get the wings and make sure you get a few flavors. If you get a dinner I recommend the rib tips, cabbage and jalapeño cornbread. Chef Tony and Nicole really will make you feel welcome. Great Barbecue restaurant.“

“I really like the blueberry pancake. The carrot cake pecan pancake was not so much. And if you want real maple syrup you can request it for an additional charge. But the warm syrup they place on the table is the full of high fructose corn syrup. The coffee is strong with a bit of bitterness, but they do leave a pot on the table.“

“We arrived at 5pm on Thursday. The inside was nearly full; but the weather was nice and there is generous outside seating. We had the dry-rub wings as an appetizer. Very tasty. Then, as it was burger week, we all ordered their special burger. All agreed the best burger week burger thus far. Service was okay but maybe poorly trained; the waiter seemed often too distracted chatting with another waiter to notice when we needed something, though standing less than 10 feet away. Not terrible service by any means, just less than it should have been. Example, our table was wet from an earlier rain, and none of the staff seemed to notice or care, though they brought extra napkins and so we dried it. Not a problem really, but odd. Still, all-in-all an enjoyable dining experience, and we'll certainly return.Parking: A bit tight in the main lot.“

She got a Roast Beef & Egg sandwich on Wheat with Mayo, Lettuce and Tomato. Her only complaint was that the pickle wasn't wrapped up, which led to soggy and juicy chips. This has never happened to me but I wanted to say something about it, so that they can carefully wrap their pickles as they usually do, to avoid such things and so no other customers have this issue.“

“The place is like a novel that is about to happen. It's like America in the 1950s all over again. Once you become a regular -- it doesn't take long -- they are happy to see you. They will call you by your first name. There are a lot of working people who come in there for lunch and middle management types with ties and shirts with rolled-up sleeves. They come there because the food is great and the servers are amazing. The servers draw happy pictures on your check saying thank you. You can watch them cook; it's a diner. I usually get a Greek Salad but the hamburgers and fries are great. So are the Gyros with the Tzatziki. Coffee is bottomless and you have to tell them to stop! The food is great and the service is great. It's like family.They are busiest from around 11:30 to about 1:30 PM. They close at 4 PM. They only open on weekdays. They take credit cards.Vegetarian options: Not vegan but you can get salad and sometimes vegetarian soup. It is Mediterranean so you should be able to work something out. Ask the staff what they would recommend.“

“The food was good. Salads came out late, so we barely had a chance to take a bite before food came - that was disappointing. I will say the salads were the best looking Salads I've ever seen in a restaurant! Burgers were almost great - it was undercooked, as was my meal also. Fine for red meats, but not for fish or turkey. Our server, Parker, knew the menu well and was able to describe the specials and regular menu items. Service was fast, friendly, but not rushed in any way. My friend got the salmon and I had the fish special of the day. The special was elegant, flavorful and beautifully presented on the plate. “It's pretty bougee in there. Normally, I'd be at a simpler cafe for my morning pancakes. But I was like, "You know what? I want a classy af breakfast today!" Let me tell you, Northstar makes the absolute best pancakes in the world.While I know they put ricotta cheese in the batter, not much else is known about what makes the pancakes so good. I'm inclined to believe that once the chef has mixed the pancake batter, it is then poured into a golden bowl. From there, it is then taken outside and handed off to a person who holds a high maqam (position/station/nearness to Allah). That person then recites the opening verse of quran Surah Fatiha over the batter and then lifts the bowl high over their head. At that point, all 7 levels of heaven are revealed, and an archangel appears standing in front of a heavenly waterfall. The angel gazes over the pancake batter, reaches behind them, and takes a handful of the water falling behind them. The archangel then pours a handful of heavenly water into the batter. The bowl is then passed off back to the chef, who then slaps em on the griddle and does what he or she does.Yeah, the pancakes are pretty good, and I highly recommend this place.“

Opened about a year ago from the neighbors next door (Lalo), this place is a hidden gem.We ordered the skewers (one each) of the chicken, the chino tacos, the tornado potatoes and the banh mi with cucumber salad. Very plate was delicious. Something we really appreciated were the sauces.My family has been to Vietnam multiple times and that’s something we loved when we were there. Our waitress was great and was very polite and attentive. I'll never get tired of having a refill for my drink set down in front of me before I have to ask. I was glad we were almost finished when they sat a couple at the table next to ours, because it is a little close and you're right in each other's conversation. I got the salmon bruschetta to start, and it was so good. Everything tasted so fresh, and the flavors blend beautifully. My girlfriend got the French onion soup, and that looked amazing. She said it tasted really good. We both ordered the filet mignon, and she wanted hers medium rare, and I wanted mine cooked medium. While both steaks were excellent, neither one was cooked as requested, and both were pretty rare. I'm going to let that slide, since everything else was so good. The smoked Gouda Mac and cheese is so damn good, I want the recipe. It's very creamy and delicious. The Brussels sprouts with bacon were excellent and I could eat a bowl of just that. We will definitely be back, and totally understand all the accolades now. Two thumbs up.“
