They didn't really taste like lemon at all, and I couldn't eat it. We took our order to go or I would have said something. I would go back for the coffee and atmosphere.“

I'm super picky about my coffee (how acidic, bitter, notes, etc) and I have tried almost all cafes around Cleveland and none of them compare to Heartwood - even beats Rising Star... The service is always so good and quick with super kind/welcoming employees, and the owner is always smiling! I absolutely adore the decor and vibe the cafe locations offer. It's the perfect place for a solo date, brunch/lunch, work spot, meeting, etc! I LOVE LOVE LOVE Heartwood and wish there was one closer to my city (Broadview Heights). I recommend this company to everyone looking for the best coffee (local and out of state)! Do yourself a favor and RUN to Heartwood now because I promise you all not regret it!“

“I went to Cleveland for my birthday and I love to just walk around new cities and try new coffee shops. We came across this shop and tried it out. I was expecting to get a coffee but a gentleman there stated that I should try to chai tea. Boy, was he ever correct. It had to be the most amazing chai tea I've ever had. It had a very smooth taste, with a nice hint of fresh ground cinnamon on top. Not overly sweet like a desert, but just right. The barista that works there was also very friendly and we chatted a bunch about a lot of cool topics. I definitely recommend it!“

“The price was different than what’s posted online so that needs to be updated but what I got was a quality cup of oatmeal To-go. The fruit was fresh and she made the oatmeal consistency perfectly, added milk with no extra charge so to me it was worth $10 with all of that fruit. I’m here for a short work trip and I’m not finding quality in this part of downtown so it’s likely that I will be back here again. I also had a cortado earlier and it was perfection. On top of that the service was nice, they were friendly and kind, just what you need when you’re away from home.On another occasion I got breakfast and it was beautiful and cooked perfectly. I love this place and the two ladies who run it, they’ve grown warmer and more personable the more I frequent their cafe, I love their hospitality and I’m grateful for it.“

I tried the Tumeric Latte which they made sugar free for me was delicious and made with tumeric, cinnamon, a pinch of cayenne and Oat milk. Many people order their Lavender Latte! Maybe next time…It definitely had a kick to it. It was super frothy too! They had a nice little seating area overlooking a fountain. Great place to take a break and relax.“
