“The experience here was superb just like the other restaurants in the Looking Glass Hospitality portfolio. If you have Celiac or gluten intolerance they are excellent in their protocols and were able to adjust items to celiac specificity.

We had the Korean Corn Dogs which were 10/10. The Caesar was heavy on kale which is not our first choice of greens but it was generously dressed and had fresh grated cheese. The scallop and beef parpardele were enjoyed as well as Lobster Mac (fresh!) and wedge potatoes. Dip potatoes in the cheese sauce for a menu hack!

The creamsicle cloud dessert was unique as well as light.
Drinks wise they have an excellent selection and I enjoyed the Lychee Ginger as a great cocktail with Asian inspired appetizer.

This is a must for a date night with someone with allergies or if you like to dine local with local ownership. Parking garage is conveniently attached behind the restaurant and there's an entry from the garage to the restaurant. We were there on a Sunday so the area was quiet.“

He had the mushroom Swiss burger, I had the smallest burger; we both had coleslaw. The burgers were delicious! Being hand-pattied was the special touch, as most come pre-formed. We were seated immediately around 6:00 on a Friday evening. Our waitress was prompt in taking and delivery, attentive without hovering. This was a great dining experience!“

From the greeting when we walked in, our server Matthew and the food everything was spot on. Tables were being cleaned as people left, the bartenders were wiping down the station, the food came out hot and cooked properly, the employees having a genuine smile. From the moment you step aboard the beautifully restored vintage railcars, you feel transported to a different era. The atmosphere is elegant but welcoming, and the staff goes above and beyond to make the evening special without being overly formal.

I had a delicious four-course meal (the calzone I chose was amazing!), and loved that you pick your entrée when you book. Everything was served hot, fresh, and beautifully presented. The train ride itself is smooth and scenic—you catch glimpses of the city that you just don’t get from the road.

“Everything about Main St. Café is superlative. I think they have one of the best burgers in the city. Certainly in the top five of all the burger joints that I have been to, including zips and Dellwood. But on top of that, the last time I was there, I had the homemade
roasted red pepper soup. It was as good as the best soup in any high end restaurant. Service is excellent. As far as atmosphere, it is closer to zips than to Dellwood in terms of atmosphere.“

“Faith Restored hallelujah!!! I’ve been coming to this establishment for years and never had a problem I had to leave a bad review until last visit. I was angry and upset and just did it. My 80ish old Mother in law wanted to go for her birthday so I gathered the entire family and I gave it another try. So glad I did.
We actually had the same waitress as last time. She was night and day and did a great and professional job. I ordered the apps and man did I choose the right ones. The kids love the pretzels and I wanted to try the loaded Saratoga chips. When she came back with them I was beyond amazed by the quality and quantity. If you’ve never had their homemade chips you’re missing out. They should market these , sell these in stores. They are light, fresh and the taste is out of this world !! The beer is always icy cold and delicious. We all tried something different this time and everyone was super satisfied. I don’t think a visit to a restaurant could’ve been any better. I know every person and every restaurant has a bad or off kind of day. I want to apologize for being angry and giving you a bad review. Nobody is perfect. Your reply was very professional and you even offered to pay for my meal. You’re back on the map for taking my entire family out when we’re remotely in the area.
