“Checked out Luna Café (Moreland Hills location)—one of their three spots (also in Cleveland Heights and Downtown)—and it definitely lives up to the hype.

The vibe is cozy, bright, and perfect for a relaxed breakfast or coffee date. Everything felt fresh and thoughtfully made.

Drinks were a highlight: the chai latte was one of the best we’ve had—perfectly spiced and perfectly sweet. The iced matcha green tea latte was smooth, earthy, and super refreshing.

For food, we tried a mix:
• Breakfast burrito – great balance of herbs and fillings, and they even customized it for us with turkey breast
• Lemon curd crepes – a standout; light, delicate, and perfectly balanced between sweet and tangy
• Steel cut oats – creamy and comforting, topped with berries and honey

They also have a great selection of freshly baked goods, including vegan options and seasonal cookies and cupcakes, which makes it hard not to grab something to go.

Overall, Luna Café nails that balance of elevated but approachable. You can tell they focus on quality ingredients and execution. Definitely a spot we’d come back to—especially for that chai and the crepes.“

“My cookies initially we're lacking the strawberry topping. I asked if they could be touched up some and the employee was so nice about it! I told her it's the best part and she agreed. I really appreciated her kindness. The cookies were perfect and absolutely delicious.“

“We visited today and had a fabulous experience. The staff was helpful and friendly. The cafe itself was well appointed (actual silverware, not plastic), water carafes available along with lemon slices for no extra charge, clean, bright - even the soap in the bathroom smelled wonderful! But the almond croissants were amazing. Not to sound pretentious, but we've eaten almond croissants in Paris and they didn't even come close to the greatness of what we ate at Sophie's. The latte I had and the espresso my husband had was also delicious. We were in the area, traveling across the great divide from the west side of the county, and are so glad we stopped in. It would be a challenge to the waist line if we lived closer but we will certainly add regular visits to Sophie's even if it's just for coffee and an almond croissant. Also, the painting of Sophie at the front door is wonderful. Our own Sophie-dog crossed over the rainbow bridge last year so the painting was extra special to us. Run, do not walk, to this wonderful cafe.“

“This bakery is a standout among bakeries in Cleveland! The quality of the cafe level drinks and all of the pastries and goodies is phenomenal. I have been to a lot of cafes/bakeries around the world and the bakery items here are so delicious because they are a little less sweet than the standard bakery. The cakes are light and fluffy, the cream filled breads and donuts are decadent and light, and the classic Korean style croquettes and fried bread items are delicious! I have been coming here since they opened, and the owners are so lovely and sincere as well. I would recommend this bakery to anyone who loves not too sweet baked good, and delicious and light savory croissants/breads! My personal favorite are the matcha creme donuts and breads. Also their lavender matcha latte and matcha frappe are to die for!

Also the service and the people who work here all are incredibly friendly and professional. They take time to pack your items for take out orders, and are careful.

“Absolutely beautiful and delicious cakes! Shae made a beautiful cake for my son’s first communion. She is very professional and prompt. She delivered the cake on time and made sure to give us instructions and a box to transport once the event was over. The cake was a great hit and made our special day complete. “Heard about this place from a coworker. Not easy to find - the owner runs her business out of her house. Asian bakeries/patisseries are hard to come by in the Cleveland area so naturally I was excited to try and was not disappointed. Ordered a box of pastries as well as their green tea roll cake. Croissants are the best I’ve had in Cleveland. So many flaky layers, perfect texture, just the right amount of sweetness. Green tea roll cake was also phenomenal. Had bits of red bean and the cream was light and airy. The cake itself was soft and moist. Will be coming back. Highly recommend“

It looks like they’re doing some renovations, so parts of it have that old-school charm while other areas are getting a bit of a refresh. Other spots look like they need scrubbing. The donuts were excellent—fresh, flavorful. Self-serve. You can tell this place has been around a while. Some unique candy options I have not seen before. A payphone too!? “I’m always busy, working, doing errands and i needed to find a place to eat that has a ln extensive menu. I can grab breakfast and lunch with extra to take home too! The manager and staff are friendly and very hard working. It’s centrally located and whether i’m eating in or taking out, The Cafe Honeycomb manages their business like you are their only customer, with attention to every detail. “I have been getting Cassata cakes & treats from you all since I was little. I celebrated my 37th birthday on June 19th. I went on vacation to North Carolina & drove 8 hours with my Cassata cake in a makeshift cooler of dish bins. I chose the dish bins because the cake box fit perfectly surrounded by ice packs. I took the advice of the sweet lady who helped me in store by saying to plastic wrap the cake box and use a trash bag then wrap the ice packs. She even was so kind to give me an ice pack she had there as well. I just want to say thank you all for always having great customer service & kind hearts.“
