“Checked out Luna Café (Moreland Hills location)—one of their three spots (also in Cleveland Heights and Downtown)—and it definitely lives up to the hype.

The vibe is cozy, bright, and perfect for a relaxed breakfast or coffee date. Everything felt fresh and thoughtfully made.

Drinks were a highlight: the chai latte was one of the best we’ve had—perfectly spiced and perfectly sweet. The iced matcha green tea latte was smooth, earthy, and super refreshing.

For food, we tried a mix:
• Breakfast burrito – great balance of herbs and fillings, and they even customized it for us with turkey breast
• Lemon curd crepes – a standout; light, delicate, and perfectly balanced between sweet and tangy
• Steel cut oats – creamy and comforting, topped with berries and honey

They also have a great selection of freshly baked goods, including vegan options and seasonal cookies and cupcakes, which makes it hard not to grab something to go.

Overall, Luna Café nails that balance of elevated but approachable. You can tell they focus on quality ingredients and execution. Definitely a spot we’d come back to—especially for that chai and the crepes.“

The only qualm I had was how the manager or owner responded to my mum requesting more milk in her cappuccino, as if we don’t have any knowledge in coffee. The foam was not foamy or thick with a ton of bubbles inside the foam. As if they didn’t tap it before pouring it in. He explained the drink to her and had a perplexed judgment look on his face. I almost wanted to intervene and ask if he wanted to try the drink himself. I don’t have an issue with people informing us how the drink is supposed to be made, but the assumption that the customer is not informed rather than, “hey maybe the barista had a faulty drink this one time” or adjusting to my mum’s preference, came off strange. The coffee was bitter, which is why she asked for more milk. I wish they had been kinder in responding to an older foreign lady or ask what was wrong while explaining their reasonings“

The smores bars instantly transport me back to my grandma's house, in front of the wood stove putting together that messy concoction, yet all you need is a napkin. “We got there in the end but trying to order over the phone was a bit convoluted and misleading. I didn’t make their cutoff for custom ordered gluten free cakes but the lady I spoke to said I could come in the same day and get one, it just wouldn’t be custom. I went to the Solon store when they opened and they couldn’t do that, so I called the one in Eton where I had called originally and they couldn’t do cupcakes the same day but that was it. No real explanation, but I had them make 36 cupcakes and they had them ready in an hour and a half. They were great.“

“This was actually the second time I stopped in. The first time they had just opened and some of the things weren't quite up to par (soggy pastries like they had been frozen and thawed out). Anyways I decided to give it another try and this time was much better. I got a caramel frappe which was very good (I forgot to take a picture). I also got the cheese tart and a custard bun. They were both pretty good although nothing spectacular since they are fairly simple pastries. Overall I would say if you're in the area stop by and give it a try.“

“Meg’s challah is the best, and her customer service is, too! We ordered a pesto mozzarella challah that was incredible — soft inside and crunchy outside and full of flavor. She baked each challah with love, and she’s so passionate about her work. This isn’t her full-time job, just a hobby turned passion turned side hustle. You can tell she keeps it up because it brings her joy — and in doing so, she brings joy to others. I wish I lived a little closer so I could order on a more regular basis. If you’re in the area, don’t sleep on this homemade challah.“

“Absolutely beautiful and delicious cakes! Shae made a beautiful cake for my son’s first communion. She is very professional and prompt. She delivered the cake on time and made sure to give us instructions and a box to transport once the event was over. The cake was a great hit and made our special day complete. “Heard about this place from a coworker. Not easy to find - the owner runs her business out of her house. Asian bakeries/patisseries are hard to come by in the Cleveland area so naturally I was excited to try and was not disappointed. Ordered a box of pastries as well as their green tea roll cake. Croissants are the best I’ve had in Cleveland. So many flaky layers, perfect texture, just the right amount of sweetness. Green tea roll cake was also phenomenal. Had bits of red bean and the cream was light and airy. The cake itself was soft and moist. Will be coming back. Highly recommend“

The manager and staff are friendly and very hard working. It’s centrally located and whether i’m eating in or taking out, The Cafe Honeycomb manages their business like you are their only customer, with attention to every detail. “I went to Baraonas Bakery to purchase a cassata cake for my mom's bday. I loved how they have nice pastries to choose from and the cake I got was delicious. However the service was mediocre, I wasn't greeted when I came in, the staff was young but not friendly or professional. The customer service needs to greatly improve there.“
