“I’ve been coming here for a couple years. It is a gem of a place. You cannot find better food for this price downtown or anywhere else in general. Every member of the team there is very friendly and has nailed customer service. Today I was inspired to write this review because I saw the chef making some French toast. He was treating the motions with so much care, attention, and grace, it was like watching an artist at work. It is clear the people here take pride in their work, and you can taste it. Cincinnati is lucky to have this place!“

While we went at noon, the music and decor were as relaxing as an evening or even late- night event. Our server Simeon was professional and committed to make our meal a memorable one. “Chat GPT had directed us here on Saturday the 4th. The food was great! My son and I each had the Salmon with Sweet Potato fries. We had both flown in from 2 different states for a couple of attractions. After the Salmon we finished off a huge slice of Carrot Cake. The best I have ever had. “This ramen was really good. The broth was rich and flavorful with a nice little spicy kick. The noodles were soft and cooked just right, and the meat and green onions added great flavor to every bite. It was warm, comforting, and very satisfying. I would definitely order it again.“

“I was in town and Agave & Rye was recommended to me. I stopped in on 9/10/22 talked with Emma the hostess and explained I was having a few friends to stop by not sure how many between five and ten. She accommodated me at the high rise table back by the windows which was perfect for my nine guest. Sarah was our excellent server, she continually checked in on us even thou I saw her working outside as well. Our drinks were awesome and our food was really good. “We usually get there about 15 min before opening and that's a general rule here. I love reading these reviews that complain about how expensive it is, yet they sell out within the hour on many items on the weekend. We come into town from DC to visit family and this is one spot I never miss. The pain au chocolat is fantastic and all the other wildly creative concoctions are a great way to experience different flavors with traditional pastry styles. Best bakery I've ever been to and I don't even like pastries and this kind of thing in the morning. I like bacon, eggs, and hashbrowns. I'll obviously leave the complaint about parking to the city, not the bakery.“

“Benson Paige is a pup who has lived in a shelter for a whole year. Today is his last day on earth since he is being humanely euthanized tomorrow. A foster took him out and spent some time at Bloc, so benson got to finally cuddle up on a couch. He finally got to eat a whole plate of eggs, a plate of bacon and experience the good life- something he never got to experience before. Stevie the lead barista was incredibly kind and compassionate over the phone with me while I tried to coordinate getting benson a special treat and helped me make sure the foster & benson were taken care of and that he got to experience love. There are no words to describe my gratitude to them and thank them for providing a place for benson to be safe and loved. ❤️❤️❤️ can not recommend them enough for their customer service“
