“We were promptly Greeted at the entrance. The food was Great glad we stopped, as we were just passing through and decided to give them a try. Glad we did!“

“Ok so we’ve dined at Old Scratch Troy location about 6 times since it’s opened. Waited a bit to give them time to really get in their groove. While I do recommend the place. Pizza is good, staff is nice (especially Amanda at the bar) and shareables are tasty. That said I would like to see the food’s taste be a little more consistent. My favorite dish is the fire roasted cauliflower but sadly it hasn’t been prepared the same way twice with the last two times it was barely seasoned at all once it was almost raw. Hopefully as training continues they will fix that issue.“

“Originally from Buffalo NY, found it very difficult to find a pizza that even comes close to what I was used to. I've tried many pizzas across the Miami Valley and all I can say is that most were pretty bad, and a few ok but not much more. 2 places were halfway decent but those places went downhill. I finally tried Joe's Pizza last month and have to say, the Absolute Best in Miami Valley. It was the closest to Buffalo Style Pizza I ever had in Southwest Ohio. Told their Staff the same. I will definitely be going back there despite being a little drive from where I live. I would recommend Joe's Pizza to everyone, especially if you're looking for a quality pizza!!“

“I always take my grand kids & family here when I come to Dayton.area. Each time prior our 6 or 7 pizzas were always hot with plenty of toppings; we also love the dinner salad. This time our angry bee keeper pizzas had noticably too few pieces of pepperoni, some slices lacked any pepperoni. Still a great place to take 9 of us.“

“5 Stars is not enough. Hubby and I stopped in for our first visit and he grew up Italian ~ homemade everything. Sub was filled with meats, mozzarella sticks were perfect and the pizza was awesome. The dough is fabulous, so much taste. Husband felt like he was back home. Cannoli was so tasty. We will definitely be back. Great food, priced fairly and the owners service exceeded our expectations! “Hoagie's was a staple for me in the 80s and early 90s when I lived nearby and worked in the Poe Avenue area. It had been a long time since I'd visited so I drove over (across town from Fairborn - about 25 minutes one way) and ordered when I got there. I got two pizzas, a whole Spider (one of my all time favorite sandwiches) and the stuffed garlic bread. I grabbed a Coke and sat outside on their patio in the lovely weather. 20-ish minutes later, they brought my order right out to me. It think it was about $40 and well worth it. The pizza was just as I remembered it - the big thing I love is their sauce has a great tomato flavor and isn't too sweet. Great crust and well topped. I ordered my wife's pizza light sauce and they did it perfectly. The Spider was everything I remembered and the stuffed bread sticks might be my wife's new favorite thing. They have a nice amount of inside seating and the staff was very friendly. While I was waiting outside, it was a constant stream of folks coming for pickup orders. Hoagie's is as good as I remember and it will be on our regular rotation going forward. I just made me happy to reconnect with some of those memories from my first job working in that area and to get back to Hoagie's. If you have the chance, you should go.“

“Marion's is a Dayton classic. The decor has echoes of the 60s and 70s I. Dayton, but clean, updated, modern yummy. Definitely not a national delivery chain. You order in one line, move to another to order drinks, pick out a family style table in the dining area (yes, Virginia, some pizza places are still fine in). My fave is their traditional thin crust with the basics. Marion's is also popular with group things - offices, churches, etc. Nothing like it anywhere else.“

“I drove out to Dayton from Columbus to have a little fun day. While looking for a good place to eat I came across Godfather’s Pizza. We were NOT disappointed! The girls at the counter were amazing, and provided the sweetest and best service! Everything was very clean! The food? INCREDIBLE! I ordered a large pep, medium Humble Pie and 2 orders of garlic bread with cheese. I’m used to garlic bread with cheese being a sliced sub bun. We were all very excited to see that it was thick cut garlic butter and cheese toast! for a group of 7, one order would have been plenty. The pizza sauce blew us all away! Shortly after our pizzas came! The cheese pull was BEAUTIFUL! 7 people and we had the large pizza box stuffed with leftovers! We are all very picky about pizza and Godfather’s did NOT disappoint! “I live out of town, now in NC. I grew up in Germantown OH and was brought up on Don and Ron's Pizza. Hands down it's the best place to gather with old friends and family, great atmosphere, fabulous food and attentive service. Not only is the pizza the best, their hot Italian sub and mushroom steak sandwich is great too and don't get me started on their Reuben!! Oh did I forget to mention salads, yeah they exceed at that too. Huge salads, big enough to share (if you want, that is.) Yes, Don's is A #1 in this gal book. I take a family size pizza, a steak sandwich and sub frozen home with me every time I'm in for a visit. That way later when the mood strikes I have a little take of home when I want it. You won't regret stopping by and eating there.“

“Wednesday 5pm. Table for 2. I had a pizza. I was really impressed. It had a thin crispy crust which I like. Dad had spaghetti and meatballs which he said was good. Beer was cold. He felt the place was a bit noisy but I didn't notice that. Enjoy going there.“

“We order to go & delicious every time. This week we ordered salads too. it was just head lettuce, tomato & provolone with their own Italian dressing. Their Italian is their own...very good. Lettuce so good & fresh, lots of cheese. No dead brown lettuce! Pizza always fresh & hot. We get pepperoni, mushrooms & sausage. Never had a bad pizza on Third Street or Far Hills either.“

“I love the pizza here and it’s really good and the people are nice that work there at the pizza place. My favorite movie is the godfather so when I go here it makes me think of the godfather “So you come to me on the day of my daughters wedding for the favor” from the godfather just like the pizza place. I got a pizza here the other day and then o went to Home Depot and bought some screws so I could put my license plate on my car. It was really cool because I got pizza and then Home Depot was right there so I could just walk over. They have a really good bathroom at the godfathers pizza too because it was really clean. It reminded me of the scene where Michael Corleone goes to the bathroom in the godfather. Overall I really like godfathers pizza and I love the movie the godfather.“
