“Originally from Buffalo NY, found it very difficult to find a pizza that even comes close to what I was used to. I've tried many pizzas across the Miami Valley and all I can say is that most were pretty bad, and a few ok but not much more. 2 places were halfway decent but those places went downhill. I finally tried Joe's Pizza last month and have to say, the Absolute Best in Miami Valley. It was the closest to Buffalo Style Pizza I ever had in Southwest Ohio. Told their Staff the same. I will definitely be going back there despite being a little drive from where I live. I would recommend Joe's Pizza to everyone, especially if you're looking for a quality pizza!!“

“This ranks in the top tier of pizzas I have had, and I feel like the only think keeping me from giving it a 5 (I wish I could do 4.9) is the hot honey. I ordered the angry beekeepers w/extra hot honey, and the hot honey is too subtle to taste. I really wanted that sweet heat to come through, but it was invisible to the taste even ordering extra. That being said, the fresh Mozz, salami, and basil with the wood fire crust made for a sublime pizza experience. We're over the road, and we hunt for indie pizza shops, and this easily falls in the top 5 (not counting Chicago style pizzas in the ranking. That's a pizza to itself). The server at carry out was very pleasant, and checked the pizza before giving it to me, and that was a nice extra touch. Overall, Old Scratch is no joke. Experts in the pizza game. Among a highly competitive market, they stand above most. I can't wait to eat here again.“

“Ok so we’ve dined at Old Scratch Troy location about 6 times since it’s opened. Waited a bit to give them time to really get in their groove. While I do recommend the place. Pizza is good, staff is nice (especially Amanda at the bar) and shareables are tasty. That said I would like to see the food’s taste be a little more consistent. My favorite dish is the fire roasted cauliflower but sadly it hasn’t been prepared the same way twice with the last two times it was barely seasoned at all once it was almost raw. Hopefully as training continues they will fix that issue.“

“Found this little gem on the internet. The food was absolutely fantastic. We all enjoyed the food. My friend tried lamb for the first time. She was in heaven. The server was great. My only complaints were the lamb was overcooked, but still juicy, and the kids running all over the place (and the boy that was hitting his brother with a belt, not hard, but still annoying).“

“I'm a truck driver, so this is for other drivers, but regular customers, please continue reading, because sometimes you never get to see this part of a restaurant.

In my nearly 27 years of driving, this was only my third or fourth delivery to a retail location instead of a distribution location.

I had an early delivery, and was told I could park over night. I'm glad I did, because arriving to the loading dock is a little awkward with a 53 foot trailer. Leaving was a breeze however.

I was unloaded 90 minutes before my appointment time, avoiding the morning rush hour, always a good thing.

Since I wasn't a customer, I can't answer questions about food quality, but the posted menu items and descriptions looked interesting. I wish they had been earlier, because based on reviews and pictures, I would have definitely ordered something.

Based on my interactions with the two that unloaded my trailer, and assuming the inside staff were just as friendly and professional, I'd recommend this place for a date night.“

“What can I not say about this place. After growing up in Centerville, I now live in Columbus. I almost always go to Marion’s when I am in town and get a pizza to go. Crust and toppings are still the same as they were 30 years ago. This particular location was closest to my home, and I still have great memories of playing The Simpsons and Street Fighter while waiting for the pizza to come. Just had some this past week and it was still great. Still can’t find anything in Columbus that comes close.“

The sauce came straight out of a can, and I could tell. Metallic taste, maybe less toppings. Unsure what changed exactly but it's been a year.“

“You can tell a lot about a place by how they treat people right before closing, and Papa’s Pizza Palace absolutely passed that test for us. We showed up about 10 minutes before they closed and honestly almost turned around because we didn’t want to be those last-minute customers keeping everyone there late. We felt bad even walking in that close to closing time, but the blonde girl working up front immediately made us feel welcome. She was incredibly friendly, patient, and had such a positive attitude the entire time. Not once did she seem annoyed or rushed, which honestly surprised us because a lot of places would have made us feel like a burden for coming in so late. She took our order with a smile, answered a couple questions we had, and genuinely acted happy to help us. That kind of customer service is getting harder and harder to find these days, especially late at night when employees are probably exhausted and ready to go home. It really stood out to us and completely changed what could have been an awkward experience into a really positive one. The owners should be proud to have someone like her working there because she represented the business so well and made such a great impression on us. And the pizza itself was amazing. Fresh, hot, loaded with toppings, and honestly some of the best pizza we’ve had in a long time. You could tell they still cared about the quality even right before closing. We actually drove about 30 minutes to try this place after winning a gift certificate, and after this experience, we’d gladly make that drive again even without one. Between the great food and the genuinely kind customer service, Papa’s Pizza Palace definitely earned repeat customers out of us. Places that still treat people this well deserve recognition, and we’ll absolutely be back.“

“I've lived in the Dayton area for 34 years and never tried gioninos until last week. I've since ordered it 3 times and have been extremely happy with all 3 purchases. This is the best pizza I've found in Dayton. The option to add basil is a game changer. Anything with red sauce should have basil on it, period. No other pizzeria that I know of offers it. “I ordered Popcorn Chicken however it wasn't until I got home it was replaced with a small amount of grilled chicken...nobody told me they ran out of Popcorn Chicken otherwise I wouldn't of ordered. I did call store and was offered a $5 credit on next order however the meal cost more than that and I rarely eat pizza 🤷 so I would of preferred a refund or replacement. Pizza was ok but most got thrown in trash so waste of money. Brownies were a bit hard but if warmed up they were ok.“

“Dayton seriously lacks in the pizza department, but Mikey's could be just the thing to turn it around. The interior is super snazzy. Swings indoors!? Just don't be stupid about it! They have an appetizing display of their current slice selections, which really helps to narrow it down. Both slices I had today were delicious: flavorful, crisp, cheesy, with a lovely garnish of delectable dipping sauces. So much better than those sad square-cut pies Ohio seems to love. “Rapid Fires Pizza on Miamisburg Centerville Rd. is a must-try for any pizza lover! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and they were happy to answer all of my questions about the menu. I opted for the Hog Heaven pizza, and it was absolutely amazing. It was like a meat lover’s pizza on steroids, loaded with all of my favorite toppings. “I absolutely love Miamisburg Pizza Hut. I eat food from this location several days throughout the week on my lunch breaks. The General Manager, Adrianna and staff members Timmy and Matt, are always very friendly to me and treat me like royalty every time I call, place an order and carry-out from the Miamisburg location. All of the staff members at the Miamisburg Pizza Hut are fantastic at their job as well, even when they are extremely busy. “I want to start off by saying my food and service have always been great! I understand every once in a while quality may be a little off. I order from this location I would like to say at least 4-5x's a month. Two weeks ago I ordered my pizza at 10 in the morning before this location was open with an 1130 delivery. When I received my food it was cold. Now I could've taking the whole order back because its normally pipping hot. Well I called and spoke with a guy told him about my order and his promise was a $10 credit. Well, I ordered again either that day or the next and I was told you can't use the credit on a delivery. I understood that I didn't feel like driving so I paid full price. Today, as usual on Friday I call to place my order and I was even going to pick it up. I talked to Brandon and he stated that I didn't have a credit. Not to mention my account is flagged for abusing credits. Now I have bank/credit card statements that I ALWAYS pay FULL PRICE for my food. At this point its not about the credit but the service. Why promise something if your not going to follow through. To say he talked to his GM about my number and he's not going to do anything is a bit much.“
