The parking lot needs attention. I was walking back to my car and the heel of my shoe got sucked into a small DEEP pothole and I fell and scraped bruised my knee really bad. I have included pictures of the location of the people eating hole. Avoid parking in front of the tree.

Would I visit again? Definitely. Food and service were great. I won't park where I parked again.“

“The food is excellent and very fresh-every order is made fresh, no empanadas sitting in a window for hours. With that being said there is usually only one or two people working and they are busy so it is better to order ahead. The guava and cheese empanada is such a sweet treat.“

“We ate at the downtown location last night. I’ve eaten here a few times and I’ve always loved it. This visit was my best to date. We ate at the bar and Khadija (sorry, if misspelled) was our server. She was excellent and very attentive while also respecting our privacy. Also, the chairs at the bar are the comfiest seats my cheeks have ever sat on at a bar! 🤭 Now the food…we had Soul Rolls, which have never let me down yet! Yummmm. “I went extremely pregnant and I was helped immensely. Of course my baby wanted the catfish dinner. I am glad they had a side that was veggie (green peas) but it was super bland. Could have been cooked with garlic and butter . The catfish was EXTREMELY DELICIOUS! They do it the southern style with cornmeal. I asked for the less sodium option. Bone in so you know it was real and fresh. I was able to get goat meat, porgy and salmon here too. Wait the $10 bag of abt 20 pieces of chicken quarters 🫡🫡🫡 . Everyone is super sweet and helpful. Location it’s a bit out there but well worth the trip!“

“We used Cozumel Brunswick for our daughter’s graduation party this past Sunday and everything was delicious!! We got the taco bar with half ground meat/half shredded chicken. Everything was ready on time and looked and tasted just as expected. A special shoutout for them also remedying an unexpected situation we ran into once the party started. We had placed all of the meats in crockpots to stay warm and when a guest lifted the lid on the shredded chicken the glass shattered everywhere into the food. Cozumel was contacted to place another order for more chicken and when we arrived to pick it up and pay for it they said it was no charge!!! Great customer service especially for something that was not even their fault, highly recommend!!!“

“Our first time at Bubbakoo's - we chose the Broadview Heights locaiton - was stellar from start to finish. We weren't familiar with the menu at all and the person putting our bowls together was really helpful and even suggested pairings and offered to let us take as many sauces home on the side so we could try different ones and see which we liked best. Everyone on staff that day was kind and welcoming and gave us exactly what we asked for.

We went to the South Euclid location a couple weeks later because we wanted to try some different stuff and the experience was exactly the opposite. Very cold, not friendly, not very welcoming, a lot of sighing when we asked questions, and they wanted to upcharge for every sauce we wanted on the side.

We won't be back to the South Euclid location, but we'll definitely return to Broadview Heights so long as the vibe remains as good as it was on our first visit.“
