“Brij Mohan is a great spot for authentic Indian flavors. Their Papri Chaat and Dahi Poori are outstanding — crisp, tangy, and perfectly spiced. The Tarka Dal is flavorful and feels just like home-cooked comfort food.

The only miss was the chai, which was quite average and could use some improvement to match the rest of their menu. Overall, a wonderful experience with friendly service and great value — definitely worth visiting for a true taste of India in Cincinnati!“

“I was traveling and decided to stop here for lunch. Kind of a “hole in the wall” type of place. Had a very lengthy all-vegan menu with plenty of options. I had a 1/2 panini and there’s no way I could have eaten a whole one. Food and service was very good, but I was curious about the tv program they were playing as it was very odd. Turns out this chain of restaurants is connected to some kind of cult. They didn’t try to recruit me or anything, but worth knowing what you might be funding I guess. “We ate at Caruso’s for the first time July 3, 2024. My wife and I thought our meals were 5 star, delicious! She had the Chicken Marsala and I had the Rigatoni Rustica. Sebastián was hands down the best server we’ve ever had, super friendly, attentive, and made our visit unforgettable. The food was absolutely delicious! My partner ordered a burger and it was incredibly tasty, perfectly cooked. I got the Taco Alderman bowl, flavorful and fresh, every bite was amazing. The dessert was spectacular and the margaritas… next level!

And a huge shout-out to Felipe, the manager, who was absolutely wonderful, so welcoming and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish.

“I have been missing samosas, biriyani and dal mahkani since I was in Owings Mills, MD. I am a veggie samosa regular, so I decided to go during lunch hours. I was very pleasantly surprised with the portion AND price. Lovepreet was so kind and broke down everything for me so I could know what to expect. As I saw, my chicken biryani sans nuts and raisins was AMAZING. The chicken was a tiny bit dry...but still tasty. She explained the different ways I could have it prepared. The dal makhani was my FAVORITE. FLAVORFUL, FLAVORFUL, FLAVORFUL. I mixed with with my biriyani, had half a samosa (they are huge but you get 2) and will be back to dine in. I love supporting my Desi brothers and sisters and I live nice and close.“

While we went at noon, the music and decor were as relaxing as an evening or even late- night event. Our server Simeon was professional and committed to make our meal a memorable one. At our request, he described different dishes, telling us what he recommended and what to expect. He was attentive without hovering. The food was as outstanding as was the service. While the shrimp toast appetizer, Wong's chicken, and Clay pot were delicious, beautifully prepared, we were overwhelmed by the presentation, taste, and experience of the coconut bread pudding with rum sauce. “I was in town and Agave & Rye was recommended to me. I stopped in on 9/10/22 talked with Emma the hostess and explained I was having a few friends to stop by not sure how many between five and ten. She accommodated me at the high rise table back by the windows which was perfect for my nine guest. Sarah was our excellent server, she continually checked in on us even thou I saw her working outside as well. Our drinks were awesome and our food was really good. Next time I am in town I will definitely return here.“

“Half Day cafe is an incredible place to eat! I was in town visiting my sister, when she took me here! Our waiter was incredible and made my day with her bright charismatic personality! I ordered pancakes and bacon, and my sister ordered an omelette. Everything tasted AMAZING!!! I highly recommend, and they have plenty of options if you are vegetarian (like my sister)! The manager was also a big help, on the busy weekend, he seemed to be doing a lot, great job! 11/10 place, and I might come down and extra visit, just to eat here again!“

“Fire. I got a bowl with chicken and a side of the brisket. Both were amazing. The similarities to chipotle and with the cheese because the rice the chicken, the toppings were different, even though the ideas are similar. The coconut hot sauce was amazing and flavorful, and didn’t scorch your tongue so the rest of the flavors didn’t come through. The brisket absolutely juicy And amazing and good just by itself. I can’t wait to try the pork belly next time.“

“It's lovely, if you get seats near the far window facing the street, there's a small area for children to play. Coffee is delicious and well balanced. The food was fresh and nicely seasoned. I ordered a build your own bagel, with cream cheese avocado and eggs. My daughter ordered from the kids' menu and had pancakes. She said they were delicious.
Note: we got lucky with parking, there's only a few spots by the door. If it's full it can be a bit tight to get out of, especially during heavy traffic.“

“Today we picked Fireside cause we wanted to try some Cincinnati pizza! All I can say is what an amazing place. The gentleman working was amazing!! Helped tell us about other places to go, had us try some different draft beers, they made the best pizza’s even my kids loved all the different types and loved drawing plates to put on the wall. If we were to ever come back this way definitely would be coming back! Recommend 100x!!“

We chose Firebirds for its quality food, but also because their menu is broad-based enough to satisfy even finicky teenagers. From the tasty lobster queso appetizer and Caesar salads, right through the main courses of steak & pasta, a tomahawk pork chop, ahi tuna, and the filet/shrimp combo, everything was excellent. The wait staff were great — right on time when needed, but not overbearing. We will go back, soon.“

A small place that somehow accommodated a party of 10, 8 of which were loud teens. We were moved to accommodate these guests and they didn’t behave like someone their age should. “We followed our favorite dolsot bowl chef from Downtown restaurants up to Mason. we had the burrito and dumplings for appetizers with sake. The burrito was soooo good. “I ate at Northstar Cafe in Liberty Township, OH, on a Saturday evening around 9:00 PM. The cashier who took my order was very patient and helpful. I asked several questions about the food since I hadn’t previously eaten at this quick-serve restaurant but she never showed the least exasperation with me.

The music was a little loud. Too loud to carry on a private conversation, but perhaps an acceptable volume for large parties. The interior decoration was pleasant and modern.

I ordered the cheeseburger and fries. My burger was exactly as I ordered it and the French fries were hot and crisp.

I enjoyed my food, the service and (mostly) the ambiance of this Northstar Cafe. If I lived in the area, I would definitely eat there again.“
