“We normally go there for their soup, salad, and bread bar. Unlimited for all you can eat. The salad bar is super fresh with many choices, along with potato salad, macaroni salad, fruit, puddings etc. There are 4 different soups. I love them all. There are 4 different choices for breads too. Service is great, everyone is friendly and polite. Highly recommend!“

“My fiance and I stopped in for lunch, and we live a good hour away and we're very happy with the food and service. The staff were very friendly and made you feel welcomed right when you walk in. We paid about 50$ for 3 egg rolls with 2 baskets and we left full and happy. The pork and brisket were cooked perfectly, we'll definitely be stopping back in when we're in the area! Definitely give this place a try, it's absolutely lovely!“

“First time here and felt right at home!! Our server was adorable and friendly. The bar tender looked very tough but was very sweet. The food is your average bar food done VERY well. I wanted a Mai Tai. They don't have that but fixed me something similar that was really good. Definitely worth the money!!Kid-friendliness: There were kids welcomed here even though it is considered a bar. There are tables.“

“This is our 3rd visit to The City Square and have not been disappointed. We make it up to Wooster once a year for my husband's competition and make it a point to reserve dinner here. Food is fantastic. Staff is friendly and service is excellent. Shout out to Sam our server on 5/4. Thanks so much for everything!“

“This is my favorite place to grab breakfast in town. Their prices are great and the food was tasty. My favorite part was the kind staff that was willing to chat. The interior was pretty interesting, too. There's also a free lot behind the building for parking.“

“Drove 2 1/2 hours for this wonderful experience. The staff is always attentive, friendly and engaging the environment always appropriately accepting clean and inviting. Food reminiscing the days my brother and I will go visit our grandparents in North Carolina. Job well done all the way across-the-board“

“Nice little restaurant that serves breakfast and lunch. We decided to stop on whim and try a new place. Once we stepped in, you can see that they embrace their namesake. They have hard hats lined above the bar, and it's cool to see all of the different companies represented on them. It is seat yourself, first come first served. There was a bit of a wait for our food, but not off putting. The place was full the whole time, so it was understandable and they did a good job. The serving sizes were good, and the pancakes were huge. They are plate sized and thick, so order wisely lol. Everything tasted great and the staff was friendly and efficient. We will definitely be returning and suggest checking them out when in the area.“

“What sets this location apart from anywhere else is the service. I am out of town on business and this location is very convenient for me on my lunch break.By my second visit this week the team knows my order and the manager on duty, (Steve?), knows my name. Literally said, "Hey Ryan!", when I walked in today.Where else do you get this kind of service?I love Penn Stations cheese steaks. But this location is unique because the people really show their appreciation for your business.I am not visiting for the third time this week, and will probably be back tomorrow for my last day in town. Not just because of the food, but even more so for the way the team here treats the people that come through the door.“

“The potato salad was delicious!! I had a ham & Swiss sandwich which was also good. The raspberry creme brulee was amazing!! I didn't order a drink, but my husband got a Moscow mule and said it was really good.Dietary restrictions: They have option for gluten free noodles for their pasta dishes.“

“Breakfast, ordered the special which consisted of one biscuit and sausage gravy, two eggs, and bacon. The biscuit was light and flaky, eggs over easy were cooked well with runny yolks, and the bacon was crispy. Typical breakfast offerings but they were good. We were seated immediately and the serving staff was friendly and attentive. Typical small town diner feel, the restaurant was clean and food came out fast. No issues this visit.“

“Great neighborhood place with excellent pizza, burgers, apps, fish and more. The servers are super friendly! It gets pretty busy, so you can expect a wait during peak hours, but that’s just a sign of a great place. The new owners are really improving the facility and it’s a town favorite!“

“I love to stop by when I come through town. This establishment is a town classic rhat serves fantastic pizza: sauce that has the perfect hint of sweetness paired with an amazingly flavorful crust. The texture is perfect and the cheese has a wonderful flavor, it doesn't taste processed like chain pizza. Their jojo potatoes are crispy on the outside and melt-in-your-mouth soft on the inside. Their prices are also fantastic! I recommend pairing their food with a specialty soda from Lehmans (I chose an Almond soda!), and then finishing it up with one of their ice cream cones.“

“Stopped in to try out the bakery. It's really good. I had a Bavarian filled creme stick and a blackberry fry pieThe creme stick was light, fluffy, and was just delicious. Really liked how light the icing was.The fry pie was the best though. First off, they are huge. They are at least twice the size of any other fry pie I've had. The filling is really good and the crust was flaky, but didn't fall apart when eating it.The bakery isn't huge. But what they have is really tasty. Highly recommend stopping in to treat yourself sometime.“

“Great food with even better drinks! Love the atmosphere. Love how it looks and feels. We chose this place on a whim, but we were blown away with everything, really. Came up for the solar eclipse from Pa, and this was the respite we needed. Loved it, if we are ever near here again. Definitely worth stopping here again.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp available“

“We went to the carryout area in the back of the restaurant and ordered 3 types of soup. The service was fast and we got out in no time. The soups were delicious, especially the broccoli cheese and the vegetable beef. We will definitely be back to hopefully dine in and have the salad bar with our soup next time!“

“Went to eat here with friends, and what a great idea!! We all had a different entree, and they were all excellent!! Those brussel sprouts were YUMMY!! The four stars on service instead of five were because one member of the group received their food a good bit later than the other three, but all in all we would go back again in a minute! Thanks for a great experience!“

“Best onion rings around. I'm having to change my review based on my experience under the new management. The food is okay, presentation is lacking. We had to ask for napkins as they are not provided. Also ordered the deep dish caramel apple pie and was very disappointed. Very little flavor and the crust! I had to use my knife to cut bites to eat - it was thick and tough. Also, now the prices have gone up dramatically. $30 for 2 sandwiches, onion rings, slaw and pie (not counting the tip). And, add $2 if you want to pay with a card. I doubt we'll go back.“

“We ate at the tavern. The food was awesome here! Portions are good. I couldn't finish my fish n chips, but we also had the fried pickles for an appetizer(which were delicious)! There were still plenty of tables open when we arrived, but our server just sucked. The tables with servers around us seemed to be getting great service.“

“Nice place for a late breakfast. (But get there before 11:30!) Outstanding service. I had corn beef hash and eggs, which came sort of "deconstucted" - the corn beef was laid on top of the potatoes/onions with the eggs atop it all. I could eat all the beef and leave some of the potatoes behind, which worked out well for me although others might like their beef and potatoes mixed up so the beef gets a bit crispy. Anyhow, we were strangers passing through and had a fine meal. Recommended.“

“Although it was busy, we were still seated very quickly and didn't have to wait long for our food. The banana bread was delicious, and so was the cranberry salad. I almost ran out of dressing though and the BLT I ordered was a little crispy.Still, our server was very friendly and understanding with the changes I made to my order.“

“We took a chance. Based off previous reviews we were skeptical but so glad we went. If you’re looking for a place for a good French Dip or Panini and fries or a good local craft brew on tap - here’s your place. They have a nice selection of alcoholic beverages. Staff was friendly and welcoming. We were served promptly and had zero complaints. We would come back if we wanted to find a spot in Wooster to watch a Browns gameWheelchair accessibility: There is a nice ramp for anyone needing it.“

“As a teen in the '70s I loved when we would get subs from Hero House. I didn't think it would live up to my memory, but it did all these years (umm... decades) later. The rest in our party thought i was exaggerating, but they agreed that the subs were great! ordered pick up, so can't comment on atmosphere really. I can agree with some comments that wait staff can be gruff. But, the food far outweighs that downside.“

“The meals were hot and made perfect...but the best part was the waitress...Patience was so good at her job...made our night.. talked with Sarah the manager...she was also really great...easy to tell that management cares... staff is on point. Highly recommend Wooster red lobster....great work “
“First time visiting here. Our family of 3 came for brunch. A bit chaotic on check in - vestibule overflowing with nobody to greet guests. Once we got seated we had a lovely waitress who was efficient. Food was edible but bland. Each of us ordered a different item and thought the same. Presentation and quantity were fine.“

“Much improved from a few years ago. This restaurant seems busier than it used to. Service has improved, and the wait time for our food was minimal, maybe 5 minutes from the time we placed our order.Another restaurant in Wooster is temporarily closed due to a fire, so I'm sure that business has improved because of that, but Bob Evans has improved a lot since a new manager was hired and it definitely shows both in cleanliness and service.“

“The was good but definitely could have been better. I had the chips and salsa as a starter. The salsa was good, and the chips were fresh. I was here on Thursday for their BOGO Boneless Wings. I ordered a 10 piece giving me a total of 20 wings, so I chose 4 different sauces. I had the Nashville Hot, Mango Habanero, Carribean Jerk, and Spicy Garlic. The wings were decent size and all very flavorful. The one issue was that some of the wings weren't coated that well in sauce and had areas with no sauce on them, I choose not to complain after all they should know how to properly coat the wings. My server Tonya was great she was very attentive and made sure my drink was full and I had everything I needed.“

“The restaurants always clean. Most often busy but the staff keeps up at a great pace. Becky was our server. She's awesome. Whoever brought us to the table was also a great host. Food was great, relatively quick considering how busy they were. Anyone working today was doing a great job. The crew were communicating and having a good time I wanted to get in on it. Always a good experience route 83 and I-71 location“
