“My husband and I just ate at the Springdale location this evening. The service was great, the food was fresh- my husband was happy at the fact he didn’t have to ask for extra tomatoes or extra this or that because they put a good amount of toppings on your sandwich and they are not skimpy. I didn’t have to ask for any extra meat or anything else either. I’ve seen in the comments (and I don’t know how true it is) where if the women were working - they were more skimpy with the portions but when the men are there they give you good portions, and I can say that there were two men there and they gave a great portion size. The store was very, very clean and it was a nice atmosphere all around. The best subway I’ve been to in a long time. 👍🏽“

“In between patients I DoorDash every day I don’t DoorDash because it’s fun. I have to do it to supplement my income, so I actually hate it. I have to use the restroom in many restaurants and when I’m greeted or not as the DoorDash person it’s never a good experience I’m not sure why, but today when I walked into your restaurant, the energy was high. That was enough to make me want to come back. But then I got the Ruben. I feel like I need to share this to help explain how great this ruben was, I am going through chemo treatments right now, and one of the side effects is a very sensitive mouth, like no hot (temperature) no spicy food, no acidic foods. So as you could imagine, that Ruben tore my mouth up. But it was so worth it. It hit the spot. I'd order another one tomorrow if I wasn't 2 hours away. We'll be back. For those potato cakes, apple sauce and another Ruben. And! The great service.“

“I don't get Penn Station like I used to. Older and can't handle the calories as often as I'd like. But when I want a Reuben, I go straight to Forest Park Penn Station. Haven't been disappointed yet. I get extra meat, extra cheese on the multigrain roll. Scrumptious! That multigrain roll is what you need. I usually pick up at the window. I have eaten inside. The place is clean and the people were friendly and professional. And the bathroom was clean! Service at the window was just as inside. I don't have a complaint about the price cause everything everywhere is high. My only complaint is why have restaurants stopped cutting sandwiches? If you're driving or just not going home, you have to hold the whole thing to take a bite. Please cut the sandwiches/hoagies.👍🏾“

I liked the way they had the pickles & Dijon mustard on the side, I used both & the pickles seemed homemade. My side was coleslaw & that was delish as well. Although I’ve never a manager threaten to cut off someone’s fingers because they forgot to add a seasoning to a sandwich, then threaten to send them home if they forget again. If someone forgot something or messed something up, it happens, seems to me the missing seasoning was caught before they finished the order so there wasn’t any issue. Praise in public, criticize in private. Small restaurant with everyone in earshot, everyone heard the comments from the manager to the whom I believe was a fairly new employee. “Went to Penn Station for lunch. My brother needed a ride to CEI for an exam. While I waited on him, I went to Penn Station.

I had a 9” Turkey-Bacon sub, French Fries, and lemonade. The sub was heavenly, right off the grill fresh. The French fries were perfect, not too much salt and some had a little skin still on them. The lemonade was also good. It tasted fresh squeezed, without a heavy, sugary aftertaste. I was the only one there so there was no delay between food preparation and eating. Since the Turkey-Bacon sub was on special, the price was right too. I throughly enjoyed lunch.“

“I changed my review from 2-star to a 5-star. There was an issue with my order, and it happened a couple of times. At first, I didn't think much about it - stuff happens. People are making sandwiches and sometimes orders are a bit off. But when it repeated, I ended up writing a poor review.

The store manager immediately followed up and called me about the issue. He was very courteous, and to me, it speaks volumes about how he does care about his service and the customers. I feel bad to have harshly judged the establishment, but I think in the end we are all better for it. The store hopefully is more careful in making their orders, and I probably will think before I write a harsh review. I'll definitely do business with this store and recommend it to others.

“I want to give a HUGE shoutout to the manager Zach at McAlister's Deli in Kenwood! My daughter wasn’t feeling good today & stayed home from school. She really wanted her favorite cheddar broccoli soup to make her feel better. I ordered it on the app & went out to my car to go get it. Car won’t start. So I called McAlister’s to let them know since I already paid for it, if they’d just hold it for me until my wife got off work, I’d come get it & just have it as leftovers. Zach answered the phone & said, “I gotta go to the bank anyway, so how about I just drop it off at your house.” Talk about above & beyond customer service! He even gave me a VIP card for a free meal when he dropped my food off. Everyone there is always so nice. I just love my local McAlister’s.“

“I love McAlisters but the pricing is getting crazy to feed 2 people. And I wish this location had a drive thru set up.

My food has been correct 90% of the time and has been delicious. The staff interactions I've had are mostly friendly and once in a while someone will be short but that happens!
I wouldn't say this is the most baby/toddler friendly place but its also not some where I'd say dont bring them to.

The entrance is not wheelchair friendly, there's no button to open the door but I believe i saw a table that was marked as wheelchair friendly.“

“First, a great shout out to Jersey Mikes. I’m a nurse at a nearby hospital. In the middle of the Coronavirus Pandemic we were struggling with COVID patients and somebody said “Jersey Mikes dropped off a huge pile of subs in the break room”. Thank you sooooo much!!!! So, we stopped by on a cold Friday afternoon in May to re-pay the favor. I had a ham one at the hospital and it was awesome. I don’t like mayonnaise or dressings, but they have the own special vinegar and (?) and it was great. Had a turkey #7 this time without seasonings because my wife got it and got the full one. Way too much food (enough for 2 meals!). Really good experience both times. All the meat is fresh sliced. Thanks again, loved the sandwiches. Take out or delivery only when this was written.“
