“Ok so we’ve dined at Old Scratch Troy location about 6 times since it’s opened. Waited a bit to give them time to really get in their groove. While I do recommend the place. Pizza is good, staff is nice (especially Amanda at the bar) and shareables are tasty. That said I would like to see the food’s taste be a little more consistent. My favorite dish is the fire roasted cauliflower but sadly it hasn’t been prepared the same way twice with the last two times it was barely seasoned at all once it was almost raw. Hopefully as training continues they will fix that issue.”

“Tried this place on a rec from a local while in the area, the food was amazing, service was great. Very attentive and helpful. I was skeptical of the mac and cheese donuts but they're delicious. The taco flights are very filling. Salsa tasted very fresh. The chocolate cake I was talked into taking to go looks to die for. would definitely travel back down for this place.”

“We are a 16U baseball team visiting from Canada and we were playing in an area tournament. Gerardo “G” - our host - went out of his way to accommodate our large party of 35 parents and players this past Saturday evening. We are so happy that he was able to look after our large group with very little notice, giving us a memorable experience we will never forget. Fantastic food/beverages and service - huge portions at reasonable prices. We truly enjoyed ourselves and were able to celebrate one of our members special birthdays. If you’re looking for a unique experience with authentic Mexican, we highly recommend Viva LaFiesta in Troy Ohio. Hope to visit again when we are in the area. Thanks again “G”. Dave.”

“Went to Culver's in Troy a week ago. Spent $40+ and drove back to Piqua before I realized that they forgot 2 burgers. Not cheap burgers either. Called them and instead of telling me to come pick them up, they said they would send me a coupon in the mail. So my daughter and I had sides for dinner(pretzels and fries). Today I take my coupon for the food I already paid for and the Manager Katrina said that the coupon only was for one sandwich and refused to give me all my food I had already paid for and waited a week to get reimbursed on. Katrina said that I should have kept my receipt. Even though they sent me a coupon. To make it worse 2 teenage looking girls stood behind the manager at the window laughing and talking about me trying to get my food. I asked Katrina their names to include in the complaint but she refused to give the names. I asked for the General Managers name and she said it was Cheryl, but she was not in today. Very frustrating. All I want is what I paid for. Not sure how to get it. Plan to call the GM, call corporate(closed until Monday), write reviews everywhere I can.”

“Last night my wife and I came in for drinks and dinner. We already love this place. But Chloe and Katie were the only two working the bar and dining area. Marcellus was the only one in the kitchen. Chloe would go back and help in the kitchen and then Lingo came in to help in the kitchen. Chloe and Katie were amazing. And the food came out very quickly given there was only one cook for most of the time. Props to all of them!”

“I love the owner , typically this is a fantastic restaurant but lately the service has not been up to their normal standards and the food and latte s have not been up to their typical standards. I hate leaving a bad review as I am a restaurant manager but they can’t fix what they don’t know. I have had 3 cold grilled cheese, an employee that gave me the wrong order and expected me to take it and pay for it and was rude. We are all going through a difficult time getting reliable and good employees , and keeping our standards where we expect them to be so I still recommend this location, I m simply posting so the owner knows there are areas that need to be addressed.”

“I came up from Tennessee for a marathon, and since we don't have Tim's back home, I make it a point to stop by whenever I'm in the North. It was super busy around 11 a.m., but the line moved quickly, the staff remained friendly, and the coffee and donuts were fantastic.
