“Love this place so much, I drive here everytime i visit family. They have the most amazing selection of syrups for coffee. Also coffe and coffee things lol. The homemade food is outstanding everytime. I always get something to go whether it's a bakery item or last time a gluten free noodle dish for my mother and I, delish!!“

“I recently had an issue with my type E61 espresso machine with the lever not functioning properly. I took my machine to gold roast and they fixed it and now it works great.

I'd like to also mention one of there competitors wanted to charge me $450 to even look at the machine and they had it fixed for $150. They even polished and cleaned it up.

I know where I'll be going in the future if it needs fixing again. Amazing work with great value.

“Have been a long time fan, from the delicious drinks and treats to the adorable decor and merchandise. Today was my first time back post Covid. Staff was friendly and cheerful but the wait time was actually really bad. Had I known it would take 25 minutes to receive one bubble tea, I would have gotten my drink before my lunch. Unfortunately couples coming in after me were receiving their drinks before I did. Love the new straws and can overlook that they do break easily, because they’re much better than paper!“

“This is the first Starbucks in Waterloo I've been to that isn't run-down. It's very clean, bright, and well taken care of. The staff are very pleasant and courteous. Reminds me of Starbucks you find around the world. I found out that it is privately owned which goes to show what a business should be like. “I usually don't leave a review but this place is wholesome. I was having a rough day. I was tired and exhausted because of my work. Both two guys (Forgot their name) were very friendly and cheerful. They kept me engaged while I was there. I ordered strawberry creme frap venti and the guy working at the bar made my drink perfectly and even decorated the frap which eventually lifted my mood. “Generous with the free samples-- they bring the tray around way more than any other location. There are lots of tables and two chair areas for intimate conversations. The large middle table has a capacity for eight and has power outlets. Internet speed is on the low side, 9 Mbps. The large space echos and there is music playing, so it's not great for a zoom call, but the constant indistinct chatter and cafe sounds are great to help focused work.

“I had such a lovely experience at this Starbucks tonight. I walked in just wanting something really low in sugar (or even sugar free) and the two young ladies working were absolute gems. (July 16 at 7 pm)

They didn’t rush me, they asked thoughtful questions and genuinely cared about helping me find something I’d enjoy. It might seem small, but when you’re being mindful of sugar intake and still want a treat, it means a lot to have a business support that.

They made me a delicious low sugar vanilla frap and we left feeling so happy.
